Capital Campaign 2015
Bulletin Announcement: October 18, 2015
The campaign is going very well. The members of St. Stephen parish have been generous with their time, talent
and treasure.
In the next several weeks everyone will be asked to be a part of this great effort for our parish and school. Each
of you will be asked to commit to the project. This is necessary to achieve and hopefully exceed our minimum
goal of $6,000,000. We are asking St. Stephen parish to pledge $3,000,000 of this goal. The remaining
$3,000,000 will come from foundations, grants, alumni and friends of St. Stephen.
Everyone will be asked to consider a specific amount as their gift. I’m sure you are thinking, “How did they
come up with the amount they want me to consider?” I can tell you that it was done very prayerfully and
objectively as possible. It certainly was not done frivolously. Please remember that the amount we want you to
consider is just that – a consideration or a “hoped for” amount. IT IS NOT AN ASSESSMENT! No one
can tell anyone what to give. All pledges to this campaign will remain strictly confidential.
Our goal is to have everyone make a budgeted commitment over the next five years. Please keep the
campaign in your prayers.

La campaña va muy bien. Los miembros de la Parroquia San Esteban han sido generosos con su tiempo,
talento y tesoro.
En las próximas semanas se les pedirá a todos que sean parte de este gran esfuerzo para nuestra parroquia y la
escuela. Se le pedirá a cada uno de ustedes que se comprometan con el proyecto. Esto es necesario para lograr
y tenemos esperanza a superar nuestro objetivo mínimo de $ 6.000.000. Estamos pidiendo a los miembros de
la Parroquia San Esteban a prometer $3,000,000 de este objetivo. Los restantes $ 3.000.000 provendrán de
fundaciones, subvenciones, ex alumnos y amigos de San Esteban.
Se pedirá a todos que consideren una cantidad específica como su regalo. Estoy seguro de que usted está
pensando, "¿Cómo llegaron a la cantidad que quieren que considere?" Puedo decir que se ha llegado a las
cantidades con oraciones y lo más objetivamente posible. Ciertamente, no se hizo frívolamente. Por favor,
recuerde que la cantidad que queremos que usted considere es sólo eso - una consideración o una cantidad de
"esperanza". ¡NO ES UNA EVALUACION! Nadie puede decirle a nadie lo que debe dar. Todas las promesas a
