INFANT BAPTISMS
For children under 8 years of age, the sacrament is celebrated the
FIRST Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm. The parents must register in
the parish office at least 4 weeks prior to the baptism. Both parents
and godparents are expected to attend one catechetical session in
advance, on the Wednesday before the baptism, at 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
Before being fully initiated into the sacramental life of the Church,
children over the age of 8 will need catechetical preparation through
the RCIC process. Teenagers and adults will participate in separate
RCIA processes.
CONFIRMATION and COMMUNION
For those already baptized, preparation for these Sacraments will take
place according to the person’s age and knowledge of the Catholic
Faith. For further information contact the Office of Faith Formation
Program.
MARRIAGES
Couples should contact the parish office at least six months in
advance to make the proper arrangements for the Sacrament of
Matrimony.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please contact the parish office.
RECONCILIATION
A priest is available for Confessions on Saturday afternoon from
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You can also make an individual appointment.

EL BAUTISMO DE NIÑOS
Solamente para los niños menores de los 8 años de edad, se celebra
el sacramento el SEGUNDO y el CUARTO domingo del mes a las
2:00 pm. Es preciso que los padres se inscriban en la parroquia por
lo menos 4 semanas antes del bautismo. Ambos padres y padrinos
deberán asistir a una instrucción catequética, la noche del Miercoles
anterior al bautizo a las 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTOS DE LA INICIACION CRISTIANA
Con el propósito de participar plenamente en la vida sacramental de
la Iglesia, los niños mayores de los 8 años de edad, necesitarán
prepararse en el proceso de Iniciación Cristiana Para Niños. Los
jóvenes y los adultos se preparán separadamente en el proceso del
RICA.
CONFIRMACION Y COMUNION
La preparación para estos Sacramentos se cumple según la edad de
la persona y su conocimiento de la Fe Católica. Para más información comunicarse con la Oficina de Formación de la Fe.
MATRIMONIOS
La pareja deberá hacer su solicitud en el despacho pastoral por los
menos seis meses antes de la fecha de la boda, para entrevistarse
con el sacerdote e iniciar la preparación matrimonial.

Comunicarse con el despacho pastoral.
RECONCILIACION
El Sacramento se celebra semanalmente los sábados de 3:30 pm a
4:30 pm. También se puede fijar una cita para la Confesión otro día
de la semana con un sacerdote.

Participate in a Prayer & Life workshop during this Lent season. It is a 15 weeks program, 2 hours per week on Saturdays at

We will be forming a new children’s choir here at Our lady of Fatima to sing at important liturgies
throughout the year. Realizing the power of music to enhance our prayer life, and knowing that we
strengthen the faith of our children through song, we are very excited to bring this new dimension to our

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Dear Parishioners,
On Palm Sunday and Easter many will be coming to the church who do not usually come during the year. Some will come
because they feel they are obligated. Some will come because they feel the need to confirm that they are Catholic. Some come
because they want to be part of a big celebration for Jesus. Some come because they feel the need for Jesus to come into their
lives and have been putting it off for too long. Then there are those who know the need to have Jesus and his sacramental grace
in our lives each day including major feasts because there is nothing more important for us and our salvation. When more parishioners and visitors come in a couple of weeks, let all who come each Sunday see newcomers and non-practicing members as a
sign to make renewed efforts to come more fervently giving more of our hearts, minds and souls to God. Let us participate more in
the church at different levels. Let us give more of our talents, our donations, our prayers. After this time of Lent, let us not limit
ourselves to what we have done in the past but go an extra mile with the Lord. Let us pray that those who come only on major
feast days will be inspired by our community of faith to make an effort to do more to participate in church life as well.

Queridos Feligreses:
El Domingo de Ramos y el Domingo de Pascua de Resurrección, vendrán a la iglesia muchos que no vienen generalmente
durante el año. Algunos vendrán porque se sienten obligados. Algunos vendrán porque sienten la necesidad de confirmar que son
Católicos. Algunos vendrán porque quieren ser parte de una gran celebración para Jesús. Otros porque sienten la necesidad de
que Jesús entre en sus vidas y lo han estado posponiendo demasiado tiempo. Y están los que saben la necesidad de tener a Jesús y su gracia sacramental en sus vidas cada día incluyendo los grandes días festivos porque no hay nada que sea más importante para nosotros y nuestra salvación. Cuando vengan más feligreses y visitantes en un par de semanas, que todos los que vienen
cada domingo vean a los recién llegados y a los miembros no practicantes como un signo para hacer esfuerzos renovados para
venir a la iglesia más fervientemente, dando más de nuestros corazones, mentes y almas a Dios. Participemos más en la iglesia a
diferentes niveles. Demos más de nuestros talentos, nuestras donaciones, nuestras oraciones. Después de este tiempo de Cuaresma, no nos limitemos a hacer lo que hemos hecho en el pasado sino vayamos una milla adicional con el Señor. Oremos para
que quienes vienen solamente en los grandes días festivos sean inspirados por nuestra comunidad de fe a hacer un esfuerzo para
participar más en la vida de la iglesia.
