Mission Statement
We are one body in Christ and
individually parts of one another.
Vision Statement
To be a community that is nurtured
through the Eucharist and
empowered by the Holy Spirit to
serve God and neighbor.
The Liturgy of the Day
Now that Ordinary Time is under
way, we will be hearing from
Mark’s Gospel for most of the year.
This week, we hear his version of
the call of the disciples. The
disciples are at their daily task,
fishing, when Jesus approaches
them. As we gather to pray today, it
might be good to reflection on how
God approaches us in our own
daily tasks. Let us pray for the
grace to be open to God’s presence
in even the smallest things we do.
a la Liturgia del Día
Ahora que el tiempo ordinario está en
curso escucharemos el Evangelio de
Marcos la mayor parte del año. Esta
semana oiremos su versión del
llamado de los discípulos. Los
discípulos
se
encuentran
desempeñando su tarea cotidiana, o
sea pescando, cuando Jesús se acerca.
Sería bueno reflexionar hoy, que
estamos aquí reunidos para orar,
acerca de cómo se acerca Dios a
nosotros en medio de nuestras tareas
cotidianas.
hagamos.

 The protection of the stability of the
marriage bond and the institution of the

HOMILIA DE HOY
Proyecto de homilía
• No con palabras, sino con obras.
En los domingos del tiempo
ordinario el Antiguo Testamento
nos prepara para el Evangelio. Los
judíos creyentes consideraban que
la redención era imposible para
Nínive, que su gente era
irremediablemente pagana, corrupta e inmune a
observaciones religiosas, indiferencia y aun
conflictos.
a tu antiguo camino y sígueme.
