Mission Statement
We are one body in Christ and
individually parts of one another.
Vision Statement
To be a community that is nurtured
through the Eucharist and
empowered by the Holy Spirit to
serve God and neighbor.
The Liturgy of the Day
John the Baptist makes his first
Advent appearance in today’s
Gospel. His familiar cry, “Prepare
the way of the Lord,” reminds us of
the task at hand this season. How
are your Christmas preparations
coming?
What gifts of the heart are you
looking for? As we gather for this
Second Sunday of Advent, let us
pray for the renewed energy to
prepare the way of the Lord in the
coming week.
a la Liturgia del Día
.Juan el Bautista hace su primera
aparición de Adviento en el
Evangelio de hoy. Su frase
familiar de “Preparen el camino
del Señor” nos recuerda la tarea
que tenemos a mano para este
tiempo.
¿Cómo
van
tus
preparaciones navideñas? ¿Buscas

apresura hacia adelante! Por eso Marcos se salta las
historias cautivadoras del nacimiento que aparecen en

un tierno consuelo. Marcos proclama “el principio del
