“¿Y quién es mi prójimo?” Antes de referirnos a la parábola de Jesús sobre el buen
samaritano, parafraseemos a Moisés en la primera lectura describiendo la ley de Dios.
Tu prójimo no está “fuera de tu alcance”, ni “en el cielo”, ni “al otro lado del
mar” (Deuteronomio 30:11, 12, 13). Nuestro prójimo está “muy a nuestro alcance”. Los

ser prójimo?” De alguien “que está a nuestro alcance”, de cualquier persona que
necesite misericordia. El Papa Francisco llama a Jesús “la misericordia hecha carne”.
Puesto que Jesús hizo del mundo entero su prójimo, él nos manda a cada uno de
nosotros en este Año Jubilar de la Misericordia: “Anda y haz tú lo mismo” (Lucas 10:37).
