to you because they know you will understand and

1:00 PM and 5:00 PM Masses.
The procession will go around the
Church and through the
Cemetery. All are encouraged to take part in this
public proclamation of our faith in the Real
Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

FAREWELL
As you may remember, on July 1st last year Father Danh
was assigned to our parish for one year. His community
-- the Divine Word Fathers -- generously responded to
Bishop Vann’s invitation that they provide priests
personnel in our diocese. We are grateful that Father
Danh was assigned to our parish and we have
appreciated his ministry here.
He will continue his ministry in the Diocese at
Immaculate Heart Church in Santa Ana beginning July
1st. Thanks to Father Danh for his time in our parish! We
ask God’s continued blessings on him and his
community and their missionary works.

HEALING SERVICE
Tuesday, June 24 at 7 PM
Our Catholic faith is a faith of ongoing healing
and the saving work of Jesus in our lives. Join
Father Jerome and others for a healing service
that will include Scripture, singing, and a
personal time with your healing request with
the Eucharistic Jesus. There will be Adoration
and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament before which
we ask for physical, moral, emotional and spiritual
healing. Join us as we pray together for God’s blessings.

a nuestra Procesión del Corpus Christi el domingo 22 de
junio después de la Misa de la 1:00 de la tarde y la Misa
de las 5:00 de la tarde (en inglés). Los niños que
recibieron la primera Eucaristía están invitados a llevar
su ropa de su Primera Comunión y caminar con Jesús en
la procesión.

First Communion Preparation Registration
First Eucharist Preparation is a two year process
beginning in first grade. Parents participate in their child’s
faith formation process. We offer sessions on Mondays or
Tuesdays; please visit the website or read the registration
form for more information. Class sizes are limited, so
please do not wait to register your child to get your
preferred day and time. You may pick up a registration
form at the Parish office or download the forms from our

EDGE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS
EDGE is a Catholic middle school youth ministry
experience created for early adolescents in grades
6th, 7th and 8th. EDGE is designed to meet the
educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs
of young adolescents. EDGE is held in the Parish Hall on
Mondays from 6-7:30 PM.
♦Small group Leaders: Lead 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in
organized small group discussions.
♦Drama: Present dramaƟc representaƟons of
Bible stories.
♦Games/AcƟviƟes: Organize community building games.
♦Hospitality: Snack/Kitchen Helper: In charge of
preparing/seƫng up/ clean-up of snacks for the children
We provide training for all of our programs.
Participating in Edge does not only help our children, but it
also enriches and benefits the souls of the volunteers.

Two weeks ago I spoke after Masses to ask for
financial assistance for my upcoming ministry in NET.
Net stands for the National Evangelization Team. I am
happy to announce that we reached my goal thanks to
your generosity: over $4,000! My family and I thank
you for making this a reality. I will be leaving August
14th for a five-week faith training program. After the
training I will start to travel across the United States
with nine other young adults, sharing our faith with
youth at different parishes.

Women Encounter Jesus
Over 80+ women participated in the
Women's Retreat earlier this month,
where they participated in conferences
and religious activities, themed “Women
Encounter Jesus.” Participants had the
option of staying the full weekend or
driving up for Saturday only. All women
are invited to join us for next year's
retreat which is May 29-31, 2015.
MOMNIPOTENT
All mothers with young
children are invited to a new
bible study for Mom’s called
Momnipotent, starting
mid-July. With its new digital
delivery program, mom's can
meet from the comfort of their homes via
a computer that has a camera (like an ipad
or iphone) or they can come to the parish
to meet with a group in the evening. There
is a materials fee of $30 which includes a
book and journal. If you are

Saturday, June 21  St Vincent de Paul
The Knights of Columbus will be holding a
Bingo Night on Saturday June 21 and invite
all St. Vincent de Paul and St. Bonaventure
parishioners to come for an evening of fun.
Doors open at 6 PM. Play begins
approximately 6:30 PM. Refreshments and beverages
will be sold. The minimum is $10 for ten games (two
cards each game) and then $1 per game if you wish to
purchase additional games. Due to permit regulations we
can only have people over the age of 18 at this event.
Come support the Knights as we raise money for
Seminarian Scholarship and support those who wish to
enter Religious Life.
