Mission Statement
Sharing the treasure of
our Catholic Faith and
centered in the Eucharist, we at Corpus
Christi Parish strive to
be true disciples of
Christ to all.
Liturgy of the Day
Liturgia del Día
Today’s Gospel will help set the tone for the coming
weeks and months. Having placed our faith in the
Messiah, we are told that we must take up our cross
every day and follow him. Strengthened by the
power of Christ’s death and resurrection, which we
celebrated fully over the recent Triduum and
Easter seasons, let us pray today to accept willingly
the crosses of this life that we may know the fullness
of life in the world to come.
seguirlo.

vida. Lucas describe repetidamente a
Rezaban a

Twelfth Sunday In Ordinary Time
In a time of lost innocence, the faith
of three children inspired thousands
and made the world believe in
miracles. Mary's messages at
Fatima have been promoted by
Popes, approved by the Church,
and validated by over 70,000
witnesses. Fr. Jason Brooks brings to
light why Fatima is regarded by
many as the most important spiritual
event of the past 100 years.
BONUS: Fr. Shanon Collins, retreat
master and well known speaker on
EWTN, explains the intended
impact and opportunity of the
messages of Fatima on the spiritual
lives of believers today. Rediscover this and other informative resources at

CATHOLIC CORNER
Everything that comes before the
Proclamation of the Gospel in the Mass
is preparation for us to listen to Jesus
speaking to us in the Gospel. The
special nature of this reading is
emphasized by our standing to hear it,
the candles and incense, the ornate style
of the Gospel book, the ordained
minister who proclaims it, and the final
act of tracing, the sign of the cross over
the forehead, lips, and heart in order to
repel the evil one from snatching away
the fruit of this message. In listening to
the Gospel we come to “see” Jesus and
learn what God is like and what He
wishes of us.
Love begins in the
heart—in our thoughts–
and is usually
expressed initially in
our words. But it
must not stop there; it
must be lived out in our
actions.”
