PROGRESS REPORT ABOUT PAR
(Parish Assessment and Renewal)
We are now half way through our two-week visit at Annunciation Parish. So far we have met with the staff
and some 45 parish leaders. Last Sunday there was a Town Hall gathering of parishioners where they reflected on what to keep doing as a parish, what to stop doing and what to start doing.
We also had individual interviews with 35 staff members and parish leaders who shared with us their vision
for the parish and what things were getting in the way. On next Saturday, May 14, there will be a second
gathering of the staff and leaders at which time they will create goals and action plans based on all of the
information obtained from the survey results, interviews and parishioners’ input at the Town Hall.
We ask your prayers for the success of this PAR endeavor as the leadership makes plans for the future life
and vitality of Annunciation Parish. A summary report of the information, goals and action plans will be
published within a month of our departure on May 16th. We will be returning next October to evaluate
what worked and what needs further development.

Estamos a mitad de nuestra visita de dos semanas en la parroquia de la Anunciación. Hasta ahora nos hemos reunido con el personal y unos 45 lideres de la parroquia. El domingo pasada hubo una junta general
de la parroquia para los feligreses. En esta junta general reflexionaron en tres preguntas, que quieren seguir haciendo en la parroquia, que quieren dejar de hacer, y que quieren empezar o comenzar de hacer en
la parroquia.
También tuvimos entrevistas individuales con 35 miembros del personal y lideres parroquiales que compartieron con nosotros su visión de la parroquia y las cosas que nos bloquean. El próximo sábado, 14 de
mayo, va ver una segunda reunión para los miembros del personal y los lideres. En esta reunión se va a
crear metas y planes de acción en base a toda la información obtenida a partir de los resultados de la encuesta, entrevistas y la junta general de la parroquia.
Pedimos sus oraciones por el éxito de este esfuerzo de PAR mientras el liderazgo hace planes para el futuro, la vida y la vitalidad para la parroquia de la Anunciación. Un informe de la información, metas y planes
de acción se publicará dentro de un mes de nuestra partida el 16 de mayo. Volveremos el próximo octubre para evaluar lo que funcionó y lo que se necesita mayor desarrollo.
