FLEA MARKET Once again it is time to start gathering items for the
Woman's Council Flea Market. The date has been set for August 1st and 2nd
and August 8th and 9th. You may start bringing items now and place them
inside the northwest door to the gym. The door will be open from 9am to 4pm
Monday thru Friday. With the help of our parishioners, we have had great
success in the past years and we hope for another good year. If you need help

EucharisƟc AdoraƟon: We are all called to be Holy. As we have learned in the
Rediscovering Catholicism book, holy is not a limi ng thing. Rather, holy is a
pure freedom to be best‐version‐of‐our selves. This is something that we can
only be with the help of God's grace. The Saints and our Holy Father, Pope
Francis show us that that adora on of the Blessed Sacrament can be instru‐
mental in helping us keep Jesus in the center of our lives. Adora on is every

FAITH FORMATION
Catechist & Parents—The Annual Faith Conference is August 9th
at St. Mary's Cathedral Parish
Center from 9:00—3:00 a.m.

Faith Formation registration will begin in August at 9:30 a.m. and 12:00
Masses. WE still need catechists for some of the grades. Please contact

Baptismal Classes in English
Baptismal Instructions for parents and Godparents will
be Monday August 4th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the conference room of the parish office. Sponsors must have
received the Sacraments of Confirmation and First
Communion, and if married, must be married in the
Catholic church.. This program is mandatory for those
who have not previously attended such a program. Please call Edie and
Joe Mechelay at 665-5601 to register. After the class is taken, an appointment for the Baptism should be made with the priest.

ACTS
Why would you want to go on an
ACTS Retreat? Let me tell you a
little about it. ACTS stands for
adoration, community, theology
and service. The first time I heard
about this retreat I thought it was
going to be a lot of praying and someone preaching at
me. I made an excuse for 2 years before I went on the
first one. At that time, I was tied up with trouble at
work and every day was such a struggle. I was just
trying to get ahead. I was just depending on myself and
not on GOD! My life was out of control. On this retreat
I learned that none of us are in control of our lives. I
found such peace and happiness when I finally listened
to what GOD wanted me to do. I think we are all looking for peace and happiness in lives. What can it hurt to
a little time to make a great change in your life. Maybe
it’s time to say “HERE I AM LORD”.

The adult Bible study group will be using Fr. Barron’s series
for the next several months. All are invited to share in this
wonderful teaching each Sunday after the 9:30 Mass. For

Did you know that we have a food box at every entrance of the
church? These boxes are to help Good Sam’s with giving out food to
the poor. Bring your can goods, flour, sugar etc and place in the box.
A list of what is needed is on the front page of this bulletin. Lets
make this our New Year’s resolution.. to help feed the hungry in our
community.

Jovenes
Cada domingo después de la misa de
12:00 p.m. los jóvenes estarán vendiendo
paletas de hielo. Lo recaudado será para ayuda de los
jóvenes que irán al dia mundial de la juventud.
