STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION
Fourth Sunday of Advent — In the first reading, God promises
King David that his house and his kingdom will endure forever. It is
through Mary’s “Yes” — “I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be
done to me as you say.” that the promise finds fulfillment.
PRAYER OF THE WEEK
December 18, 2011, Fourth Sunday of Advent
Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into our hearts, that
we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ your Son was made known by
the message of an Angel, may by his Passion and Cross be brought to
the glory of his Resurrection. Who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Reflection question:
How can I make known to others the Incarnation of Christ?
