Maximilian: Saint of Auschwitz
St. Luke Productions will be in Houston on Oct. 29
through Nov. 4 with their latest drama starring actor
Leonardo Defilippis in Maximilian: Saint of Auschwitz. They
will be performing at the following parishes: St. John
Vianney on Monday, Oct. 29 at 7:15pm, St. Clare of Assisi
on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:00pm, Co-Cathedral of the Sacred
Heart on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7:30pm, St. Maximilian Kolbe on
Sunday, Nov. 4 at 7:00pm. This production allows
audiences to experience firsthand the gripping story of this
heroic priest who courageously fought the forces of evil, and
offered his life for a family man in the concentration camp of
Auschwitz during World War II. Filled with all of the
elements of professional theater – a majestic orchestra
soundtrack, full professional lighting, and video backdrop –
the program runs 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 10
and up.

St. Pius V Church and School in Pasadena, Texas will
be holding an Anniversary Gala to celebrate 70 years for
the church and 65 years for the school on Friday, November

The
contraceptive
mentality encourages
selfcenteredness rather than self-control, commitment and

successful marriage, which remains the “most basic and
universal of human institutions,” and the place where love
