Vitamins for the Spirit
Vitaminas para el Espíritu
In this Sunday’s Gospel we hear Jesus teaching about faith
and service to God. The disciples of Jesus are to be understood as servants to God and his plans. Even when God
works wonders through us, with our mustard seed-sized
faith, we must not seek praise or the glory of people. Our
participation in God’s plan is His grace to us, nothing more,
and nothing less. When we are graced enough to cooperate
with God, the work we do is nothing more than our obligation to God as faithful stewards. And yet, our faith enables us
to believe that what we have offered in service to God, as his
servants, can be made to live a fruitful life. (Luke 17: 5 – 10)
En el Evangelio de este domingo escuchamos a Jesús
enseñando acerca de la fe y el servicio a Dios. El
discipulado ha de ser entendido como servicio a Dios y a
sus planes. Incluso cuando Dios hace maravillas a través de
nosotros, con nuestra poca fe, no debemos buscar alabanza
o vanagloriarnos. Nuestra participación en el plan de Dios
es su gracia a nosotros, nada más y nada menos. Cuando
nosotros estamos agraciados lo suficiente como para
cooperar con Dios, el trabajo que hacemos no es más que
nuestra obligación a Dios como servidores fieles. De esta
manera, nuestra fe nos permite creer que se puede hacer lo
que hemos ofrecido en el servicio a Dios, como sus siervos,
para producir fruto abundante. (Lucas 17: 5 - 10)

Les Recordamos el Domingo 30 de Octubre tendremos la
misa de 11:30 donde los niños y jóvenes celebraremos el día
de los Santos y Santas de Nuestra Iglesia, por lo tanto deberán venir vestidos de algún santo o santa de nuestra iglesia
católica .( Tome en cuenta que todos deberán asistir a esta
primera eucaristía donde se tomara la asistencia y participación , si por alguna razón no tiene el traje para su hijo (a) aun
así deberá asistir y venir debidamente vestido como se les
indico en el documento entregado en la primera reunión general además podrán participar colaborando con los $10 para el
parqueo y traer los Dulces para entregarles a los niños a la
salida de la santa eucaristía quedan disponibles lugares para
ese día en el parqueo . Por favor Apóyenos y hagamos de esta
Actividad un Aprendizaje y Recordatorio de Nuestros Santos
de nuestra amada iglesia católica Comuníquese a la Oficina de
Catequesis para mayor información y anotarse.

Just a reminder that Sunday 30th of October We will have
Mass at 11:30am where all the kids and Young Adults will
celebrate, The Day of the Saints of Our Church, in the meantime they should come dress as one of the Saints of our
Church. (please keep in mind they should all assist the Eucharist. They should assist and Participate in the Holy Mass. If
for some apparent reason you do not have a costume for your
child, they still should assist and dress appropriately the way
it was indicated in the documents that was given in the first
reunion we had, also if you can participate by donating with
$10 for the parking and bringing candy to give to the children
after Mass. We still have parking spots for that Day. Please
help us with this Activity and lets make this Activity a learning and a good Memory of our Saints from Our loving Catholic Church. Please call the Office of Catechesis for more information and to sign up.
