History
In the year 2007, the ITURRI Group formed a specialist
Cables and Hoses Department with the aim of providing a
swift response to all requests concerning cuttings, fire hose
coupling and hose certification, together with twisted and
crimped cables. This Department, found in Utrera, boasts
of approximately 3.500m2 establishment, allowing for
optimized stock management, in relation to both quality as
well as quantity.

Historia
En el año 2007, el Grupo ITURRI creó la unidad especializada en
cables y mangueras. El objetivo era ofrecer una respuesta ágil a las
necesidades de corte, racorado y certificación de mangueras, así como
de trenzado y prensado de cables. Esta unidad se ubica en Utrera y
las dimensiones de la instalación, unos 3.500 m2, permite realizar una
gestión optimizada del stock tanto en cantidad como en calidad.
Capacidades
Thanks to the facilities and the range of presses available
in this workshop, the Department has the capacity to form
hoses with up to 6” diameters.
Gracias a las instalaciones y a las distintas prensas de las que disponen
en este taller, la unidad tiene capacidad para prensar mangueras de
hasta 6” de diámetro.
Their knowledge of cutting and rubber fire hose coupling is
reinforced by their wide range of experience in this field of work
with this type of material. Furthermore, they work with composite,
PVC, corrugated tube hoses or any other polymer – upholding
their maximum quality standards at every given moment.
Su conocimiento de corte y racorado de mangueras de caucho está
respaldado por la amplia experiencia en el trabajo con este tipo de
material. Además trabajan con mangueras de composite, PVC, tubos
corrugados, o cualquier otro polímero- manteniendo siempre los
máximos estándares de calidad.
This Department similarly has access to the means and
corresponding certifications to test and approve hoses
that are supplied to customers. Here, hoses are certified
in hydrostatic and electric conductibility tests. Each hose
provided is given its own unique code so that customers are
aware of the origin of the supplied materials.
Esta Unidad dispone igualmente de los medios y de las correspondientes
acreditaciones para testar y certificar las mangueras que suministra
a sus clientes. Puede certificarlas en las pruebas hidrostáticas y de
conductividad eléctrica. Cada manguera suministrada está codificada,
con lo que el cliente dispone de una trazabilidad clara en los materiales
que se le suministran.

In addition to the Department’s aptitude concerning hose
pipes, its high quality slings which are greatly valued by our
customers, also deserve a mention. The Department also
has the facilities necessary to press cables of diameters up to
36mm at its disposal.

The Department is able to offer a competitive and flexible
service with only the highest quality standards.
Once again, Repsol has placed their trust in the ITURRI Group
regarding the maintenance and development of one of the
greatest fleets of industrial fire engines in Spain, within the
Petrochemical complex located in Puertollano.
Staff
No ordinary average material can bring unique value to the
table, in order to achieve this, a specialised team of staff that
work well together is essential. This Department is made up
of a Sales Team that is equipped to attend to a wide range of
customers´ needs.
The Sales Team is backed up by both a Purchasing and
a Technical Team who work together in the joint aim to
supply a diverse range of products under the best financial
conditions. This group also has a complementary central
team of employees that work day to day in the workshop
with hoses, cables, joints and fittings.

The Cables and Hoses specialist department is reinforced
by a combination of both logistical and human resources
in order to provide a tailor-made service that offers quick
responses and high quality standards. All services, products
and solutions that the ITURRI Group offers its customerss are
based on these objectives.
Equipo Humano
La Unidad dispone de los medios necesarios para ofrecer un servicio
competitivo, ágil y con altos estándares de calidad.
Cualquier medio material no es suficiente para aportar un valor
distintivo. Para ello es necesario un equipo humano especializado y
compenetrado. La unidad está compuesta por un equipo comercial que
puede ofrecer respuesta a las diversas necesidades de nuestros clientes.
For the first time, this will include the maintenance of hoses
with a 6” high flow rate and therefore ITURRI will be taking
on the responsibility of reliability for the Major Incidents
Response Units (MIRU) so they are available to deal with any
emergency on the complex.
The complex has at its disposal:
• 7 fire engines in accordance with the needs of the complex,
equipped with both dry powder and foam tanks.
•2 complete MIRU teams with high flow pumps (6,000 to
10,000 gallons), both a Battel and Ambassador monitor
together with two carts that hold 5,500 metres of 6” hoses.

La apuesta de Repsol Puertollano
Una vez más Repsol confía en el Grupo ITURRI para el mantenimiento y
puesta a punto de una de las mejores flotas de vehículos contra incendios
industriales de España, en el complejo petro-químico de Puertollano.
Como novedad han incluido el mantenimiento de las mangueras de gran
caudal 6”, asumiendo toda la gestión de la fiabilidad del conjunto MIRU
(Major Incidents Response Units), para estar disponible ante cualquier
gran emergencia en el complejo.
La dotación de este complejo consta de :
• 7 vehículos contra incendio configurados a sus necesidades y dotados
de depósitos de espumógeno y polvo químico.
• 2 equipos completos MIRU que constan de dos bombas de gran caudal
(6.000 a 10.000 galones), un monitor Battel, otro Ambassador y dos
carretones que contienen 5.500 metros de manguera de 6 “.
Este equipo comercial está apoyado por un equipo de compras y
otro técnico, que trabajan conjuntamente y tienen como objetivo
facilitar los productos más diferenciadores en las mejores condiciones
económicas. Los operarios que día a día trabajan en el taller con
mangueras, cables, racores y casquillos, parte crucial de este equipo,
completan este grupo.
Una unidad que dispone de recursos, tanto logísticos como humanos,
para proporcionar un servicio a la medida, de rápida respuesta y con
contrastados estándares de calidad. Este es el objetivo en todos los
servicios, productos y soluciones que el Grupo ITURRI presta a sus clientes.

Fire prevention facility on
the Reina Sofía Pier
The Refinery has increased its capacity of middle distillates
meaning that, along with other projects; its total production
will grow to 9.5 million tonnes subsequently raising the
manufacture of diesel and kerosene, products in which Spain
is lacking, by 2 million tonnes.
One of its port facilities, the “Reina Sofía” Pier boasting
four berths, shall once again be under the responsibility
of the ITURRI Group thanks to CEPSA´s decision to entrust
them once again with their Fire Prevention Project in the
areas of prefabrication, supply, assembly, testing, and the
development of four towers with remote-controlled monitors
for the pier.
This will involve complex jobs in controlled spaces where
vessels intermittently come and go. Bearing this in mind, ship
transfer planning in collaboration with CEPSA “Petronuba”,
the manager of said port facilities, is vital. This project has been
carried out in addition to that of the north berth tower, the
“Arenillas Tower”, belonging to another one of CEPSA´s piers.

Containment Safety
Drill
The CLH Group has carried out drilling activities in the
port of Algeciras, which consisted of extending and
collecting Expandi hydrocarbon containment booms
provided by the Iturri Group. The two processes were
executed alongside the Bahía Uno-Mureloil-Repsol
Barge on Berth A, belonging to CLH. The personnel of
the CLH bunker installation were assigned to undertake
exercises along with the crew of the Bahía-Uno Barge.
In addition, the head of the Algeciras Facility, Juan
Manuel Fuentes, was also present, together with the
Head of Prevention, Environment and Safety of the
South Area, Esteban Rubio. The drilling activity ran
smoothly as expected and the teams involved adapted
positively to the Contingency Plan.

The “La Rábida” Refinery came into operation in 1967 in the
city of Palos de la Frontera (Huelva). Its production plants plus
its port facilities allow for the storage and distribution of a
large array of products for diverse industries and consumers
(gas, butane, propane, diesel oil and asphalt amongst
others). In addition to contributing to the development
of the territory, where all its activities are executed, the
refinery stands out due to its use of environmentally- friendly
technologies.
The Refinery takes up a surface area of 2.4 million m2,
directly employing more than 800 fixed-term contract staff.
This number rises considerably if subsidiary companies,
together with induced employment generated by these types
of industries in the region, are also taken into account.

también el jefe de la instalación de Algeciras, Juan Manuel
Fuentes, y el jefe de Prevención, Medio Ambiente y Seguridad
de la zona sur, Esteban Rubio. La práctica se desarrolló según
lo previsto y los equipos que intervinieron se ajustaron en todo
momento al Plan de Contingencia.

DEUTZ SPAIN’s history tells the story of a great company
which day after day strove to build a future that was ever
more strong and resistant.
Many have grown and flourished between the motors,
components and other mechanical elements manufactured
by DEUTZ SPAIN which is over 100 years old: a region, the
city Zafra, and its surroundings have all been educated in
an environment caught under the simple yet unique spell of
industry.
In 1883 the company began as the iron foundry, “DITER”
and throughout its 130 years of life it has grown from
a small horseshoe and cast iron gratings foundry to
manufacturing machinery destined for all types of activities

A great partnership has started

Starting with the headquarters in Schwäbisch Gmünd the
contact is being expanded to the plant in Bietigheim Bissingen
close to Stuttgart. The strategy to expand that contract to
the other plants in Germany and even more to Hungary and
France is now becoming reality. The reasons for that are from
an economical point of view quite convincing. A reduction
of suppliers from about 80 to 1 is offering administrational
savings worth several thousands of Euros. Adding our

their factory in Tarragona
This new addition consists of an industrial supply
vehicle mounted on a MAN TCM 18.340 4x2 chassis
equipped with a fibreglass reinforced polyester
tank, with a total capacity of 6,500 litres of foam.
Furthermore, the vehicle has a 25% minimum and
95% maximum level sensor displayed on rear control
panels, plus a Godiva GV 10000 hydraulic pump. The
vehicle will also offer 2 Akron Streammaster Style
3578 and Protek Style 622-2 monitors.

Se trata de una nodriza industrial sobre chasis MAN TGM

reforzada con fibra de vidrio, con una capacidad de 6.500
litros de espuma. Además cuenta con un sensor de nivel
mínimo al 25% y de nivel máximo al 95%, con indicación
en cuadro de mando trasero, y bomba hidráulica Godiva
GV 10000. El vehículo irá dotado con 2 monitores Akron
Streammaster Style 3578 y Protek Style 622-2.

A new fire-engine for the “La Rábida” Refinery
A new industrial supply vehicle mounted on an Iveco 6x2 chassis, equipped with a 310
HP motor arrived at the CEPSA “La Rábida” refinery on the Huelva site in May this year.
This new vehicle offers a total capacity of 9,000 litres of foam agent and out of its main
features, its extremely high pump capacity of 10,000 L/min certainly stands out. Not
forgetting the two distance remote-controlled high - flow rate William Fire monitors; a
main monitor with a flow rate of 3,000 GPM and an auxiliary monitor with a flow rate
of 1,500 GPM.
It is worth pointing out the complexity of the hydraulic circuit and stating the connected
suction and return supply in order to be compatible with the UEEX high-flow rate
extinction equipment.
This vehicle is the final one to be distributed to the CEPSA Group regarding the delivery
of a fleet of three new vehicles for each refinery, supplied over a three year period.

Desde el pasado mes de mayo, la refinería “La Rábida” de CEPSA del Site
de Huelva cuenta con un nuevo vehículo nodriza industrial fabricado
sobre chasis Iveco 6x2 y motor de 310 CV de potencia.
Este nuevo vehículo está provisto de una capacidad de 9.000 litros de
espumógeno. De su dotación cabe destacar su elevada capacidad de
bombeo, 10.000 l/min, y dos monitores de gran caudal Williams Fire tele
comandados a distancia: un monitor principal con un caudal de 3.000 GPM
y un monitor auxiliar con un caudal de 1.500 GPM.
Puntualizar en la complejidad del circuito hidráulico, y detallar
las alimentaciones de aspiración e impulsión con conexiones para
compatibilizar con los equipos de extinción de gran caudal UEEX.
Con este vehículo se completa en el Grupo CEPSA, en el periodo de un
trienio, la entrega de una flota de tres vehículos para cada refinería.

PGE DYSTRYBUCJA – the beginning of
conquering of Polish Energetics
Personalised orders with the
“on-line catalogue”
Beginning 2012 we, in w EUROSOFT-ITURRI Polska, started
working on recognizing and acquiring a new Customer, the
PGE Dystrybucja company. It is an energy distribution company,
providing electrical energy to the end customer, and it is
working as a part of the greatest energetics company group in
Poland, the , PGE Group.
The PGE Dystrybucja company have 8 divisions on the East Poland
area and employs about 6 thousands bluecollar employees. The
purpose of our technical and commercial activity at the Customer
was to rise the level of safety consciousness in terms of protective
clothing and Personal Protection Means, as well as equipping
the employees with solutions proposed by Iturri. The standard,
in terms of clothing, in most of the PGE Dystrybucja divisions,
is cotton clothing with FR finishing. Because of possibility of
electric arc on working stations, which may cause death of the
employee, we started, in all the divisions, a promotion of more
safe solutions, assuring a permanent protection to the employee.
Thanks to good relationship with PGE Dystrybucja employees
and considering Eurosoft/Iturri as a professional business
partner, we took active part in working out bidding
specification for two of the company’s divisions, in Łódź and
in Skarźysko-Kamienna. As a result, a public bidding was
announced for clothing made of Nomex Comfort 260gr, with
design as our ARCTEX PRO and ARCTEX PRO WINTER. The
clothing is permanently slow-burning (EN 11612), antistatic
(EN 1149-5) and protecting against Burns caused by electric arc
charges (EN 61482-1-2). The winter version is equipped with
thermal insulation: Thinsulate FR (EN 342).
The value of the public bidding is 125 thousands of Euro, 500
sets of comfortable and safe protective clothings
Thanks to engagement and cooperation between pe ople from
Technical-Commercial division of Eurosoft/Iturri Polska, as well
as Clothing division of Textulan, with support from the material
producer, the Estambril company, we first time in Iturri history
won a public bidding for protective clothing in energetic sector
in Poland.
It is a big success, however it is not end of work. In the end
of 2013, the Customer shall extend its safety policy on the
remaining divisions and will announce public bidding with the
value of over 500 thousands Euro. We already started activities
directed to win also this bidding. So please, keep your fingers
for our Eurosoft/Iturri Polska Team!!!

En EUROSOFT-ITURRI Polska, hemos estado trabajando durante el año
2012 para alcanzar el reconocimiento y la adquisición de un nuevo
cliente: PGE Dystrybucja, una compañía de distribución energética que
suministra energía al cliente final y forma parte de uno de los mejores
grupos empresariales energéticos de Polonia, el Grupo PGE.
PGE Dystrybucja cuenta con 8 divisiones al Este de Polonia y un total de
6 mil operarios. Nuestro propósito, desde el punto de vista de la activad
técnica y comercial con respecto a este Cliente, se basa en alcanzar un
nivel de conciencia sobre seguridad en términos de prendas de protección
y medios de protección personal, así como formar al personal con
soluciones propuestas por Iturri. En la mayoría de las divisiones de PGE
Dystrybucja, las normas determinan el uso de prendas de vestir fabricadas
en algodón con acabado FR. Dadas las posibilidades de que ocurra una
descarga eléctrica en las centrales de trabajo que pudiera ocasionar la
muerte de los empleados, hemos desarrollado en todas las divisiones
una campaña de prevención, ofreciendo soluciones y proporcionando la
seguridad y protección permanente de los trabajadores.
Gracias a las buenas relaciones entre los empleados y nuestra relación,
tanto en el ámbito comercial como profesional, con PGE Dystrybucja,
hemos tomado parte activa en la elaboración de un pliego de condiciones
para dos de las divisiones de la compañía en Łódź y Skarźysko-Kamienna.
Como resultado, se dio a conocer una oferta pública sobre prendas

Seat, the first Spanish automotive manufacturer, has

of vehicles with the new addition of a fire truck. The
PROTEC FIRE (ITURRI Group) engineering department
has carried out excellent work regarding the technical
and economic evaluation resulting from the product’s
bidding process, demonstrating their proactive
attitudes and technical expertise in the face of the
simple beginnings of the relationship between the two
companies. During 2013, SEAT has given us their word
and the Spanish automotive company has committed to
reinforce the links of collaboration by further developing

How to improve protection in large power plants when
dealing with major emergencies
The earthquake that occurred in Japan in March 2011 and
its shocking consequences concerning the Fukushima power
plant caused nuclear power safety to be re-considered and
reviewed on a global scale.

August 2012, was finalised in June with the signing of the
first contract between ITURRI Germany and Deutsche Post
DHL, entailing the supply of services and all types of PPE,
highlighting high-visibility work wear, safety footwear and
gloves in the Leipzig HUB.

The clothing contract started in 2010 after taking it over from
the previous provider, the international company Berndsen,
the service of clothing lease and servicing (washing and small
repairs). The solution, designed and proposed by Service
Division, won both in 2010 and 2013, it is a solution based
on leasing and servicing the clothing in nominal option, this
means there is a lump sum payment for leasing clothing
items plus a payment for real number of items provided to
the washing service.
Using the nominal lease service during the time resulted with
solid financial benefits for the customer from one side, and
from the other allowed a better control over the clothing in
use and in service. The realization of planned project (not
easy for the customer, because demanding switching the
lump sum system into nominal system) would not be possible
without a team working of the Service Division, especially the
team of workers directly responsible for Johnson Controls,
working in the consignment warehouse localized on the
Customers facility, dealing with the lease management
system and also directly working in service logistics.

to customer needs that shall take place in the year 2013 in
one of the best training facilities in the whole of Europe.
The companies that are going to take part in the training
are the Synthos S.A and LOTOS Stráz Groups, along with new
industrial groups of the Polish petrochemical sector that are
also said to be interested in being involved.
The content has been adapted to those risk situations
unique to this sector so that the actual protocol of action
to be followed in real cases of emergency will be recreated
successfully.
This initiative aims to standardize specific training of
emergency services in the Polish industrial petrochemical
field and shall aid participants in improving coordination and
synchronization of procedure whenever necessary.
The training shall be taught in Polish to ensure the
participants’ complete comprehension of the content. Each
one of the participants shall be awarded a qualification
equivalent to the training they have taken part in and a
corresponding certificate.

2 Toro 4x4 for Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh
This past May, 6 representatives of the CAAB (Civil Aviation
Authority of Bangladesh) visited ITURRI – PROTEC FIRE
facilities in Spain to carry out the final inspection of 2 TORO
4x4 ARFF vehicles.
The visit, led by Fire Chief Officer Khaled Mohammed Abu
Sale and Purchasing Manager Kharim Abdul Molla, had the
dual purpose of inspecting the vehicles at the factory and
receiving appropriate training for the 4 CAAB firefighters
who will be responsible to provide training for the operations
of the vehicles in Bangladesh, supported by technicians from
ITURRI.
The Government of Bangladesh, through its Civil Aviation
Authority, is in the process of renewing its fleet of airport

Los vehículos se entregarán en el aeropuerto internacional de Dacca,
capital de Bangladesh, que cuenta con la categoría 9 concedida por
la OACI (polvo mínimo requerido 450 kg, agua mínima requerida
24.300 l), por lo que deben cumplir estrictas medidas de seguridad
contra incendios y de rescate. El aeropuerto cuenta con 135 bomberos
organizados en 3 turnos de 8 horas, que aseguran la capacidad de
intervención en caso de emergencia durante las 24 horas del día.

Vehículo contra incendios para la
The ITURRI Group, by means of the Barcelona Autoritat
Portuaria, has supplied SPEIS Barcelona with a vehicle
equipped with a pump for large fires. The vehicle in question
is a fire engine with specialized equipment designed for
interventions in industrial environments and as the first
response for chemical risks. The truck was handed over at the
Plaza de Sant Jaume during the celebrations of the patron
saint of fire fighters.
The new development is considered as an evolution thought
up after experience of the service in these types of vehicles.
A range of delegates from the intervention sector, such as
fire fighters and officials, were involved in this advancement,
coordinated by the SPEIS Technical Department.

The design basis for the vehicle and its pump have been
elaborated in conformance with the regulations UNE EN
1846 1-2-3 and UNE EN 1028 1-2. The truck has been built
upon a MAN TGM 18.340 chassis including a TIPMATIC ZF
transmission gearbox with a torque converter.
Before the vehicle was delivered it was submitted to several
tests, amongst which it is worth highlighting those which
have validated the trucks quality, its compliance with general
hydraulic performance, the dynamic lifting tests and the
effective verification of the centre of gravity with the static
tieting test.

The vehicle, built at ITURRI Group in Utrera (Sevilla), has a
total weight in maximum load of 15.800kg, a break-over
and departure angle of 20° and 13° respectively, is 8,035mm
long, 2,500mm wide and has a total height with an installed
monitor of 3,270 mm. The distance between the axles is 4.425
mm.
Its extinguishing capacities are: 5.000l water tank, 200l tank
of AFFF-AR foam agent for class B fires and a 100 l tank of
foam agent for class A fires. In addition it is equipped with a
25 kg BC dry chemical extinguisher.
The pump is of the brand GODIVA and model PRIMA PC2A
4010 with the following characteristics: 5,000 l/min at 10 bar
and 400 l/min at 40 bar. The vehicle also has a complementary
high performance CAF system. Two 70mm outputs and the
canon for foam/CAF or water, two 70mm outputs exclusively
for water, and three 25mm high pressure outputs, one of
them for the emergency hose reel.
The truck’s cabin has been adapted and designed especially
to be able to comfortably transport 6 firefighters with their
respective breathing apparatus, PPE bag, infrared camera,
gas meters, torches, documentation etc.
The vehicle also has great stowage space that conforms to
the protocol intervention of the service: Amongst others,
a multi-use extrication tool with batteries, a 1,000 l water
storage facility and 5 chemical suits for CBRN risks.
In addition, the fire engine comes with extra innovations
such as its 600m high anti-fall safety railings on its roof
with a pneumatically operated automatic expansion and
contraction system, a vertical escape tube, an automatic
lowering system for the stairs of the vehicle’s roof which may

El Grupo ITURRI, por mediación de la Autoritat Portuària de Barcelona,
ha suministrado al SPEIS Barcelona un vehículo bomba de gran incendio.
Se trata de una autobomba pesada con prestaciones especialmente
diseñadas para intervenciones en entornos industriales y primera
respuesta en riesgos químicos. El vehículo fue presentado en la Plaza de
Sant Jaume durante la celebración del día del patrón de bomberos.
El nuevo desarrollo es una evolución tras la experiencia del servicio en el
uso de este tipo de vehículos. Han participado en él diferentes delegados
de prevención, bomberos y mandos, coordinados todos ellos por la
Unidad Técnica del SPEIS.
Antes de su entrega el vehículo ha sido sometido a diferentes controles,
entre los que destacan aquellos que han servido para verificar la calidad
del conjunto carrozado, cumplimiento de prestaciones hidráulicas en
general, pruebas dinámicas ascensionales, comprobación real del centro
de gravedad con prueba de vuelco estático, etc.
El vehículo, construido en la planta del Grupo ITURRI en Utrera (Sevilla),
tiene un peso final en carga máxima de 15.800 kg., ángulos de entrada y
salida de 20º y 13º respectivamente, una longitud total de 8.035 mm. con
una anchura de 2.500 mm., y una altura total con monitor instalado de
3.270 mm. La distancia entre ejes es de 4.425 mm.
Las capacidades de material extintor son: depósito de 5.000 l. de agua,
depósito de 200 l. de espumógeno AFFF-AR para fuegos de clase B y
depósito de 100 l. de espumógeno para fuegos de clase A. Además se
incluyó un extintor de polvo BC de 25Kg.
La cabina ha sido adaptada y diseñada especialmente para poder
transportar cómodamente en su interior a 6 bomberos con sus
respectivos equipos de aire, bolsa de EPI, cámara térmica, medidor de
gases, linternas, documentación, etc.
El vehículo cuenta con una extensa dotación estibada de acuerdo al
protocolo de intervención del servicio. Entre otros, se destaca una
herramienta multiuso de excarcelación con baterías, una balsa de
contención de 1.000 l y cinco trajes químicos para riesgos NRBQ.
El conjunto tiene otras características novedosas como las barandillas
de seguridad anticaídas en techo de 600 mm. de altura y con sistema
de despliegue y recogida automático por accionamiento neumático,
tubo de escape vertical, sistema de bajada automático de las escaleras
del techo que puede ser maniobrado por un solo operario, estiba de los
trajes de protección química en vertical y colgados en armario de puerta
practicable lateral, ubicación de los mangotes de aspiración en vertical y
situados también en armario de puerta practicable lateral, rotativos de
leds, sirena neumática, etc.

La base de diseño para el vehículo y su bomba ha sido realizada de
acuerdo a las normas UNE EN 1846 1-2-3, y UNE EN 1028-1-2. El vehículo
se ha construido sobre un chasis MAN TGM 18.340 e incorpora cambio
automático con convertidor de par TIPMATIC ZF.
La bomba es GODIVA modelo PRIMA PC2A 4010 con unas características
de 5.000 l/min a 10 bar y 400 l/min a 40 bar. De forma complementaria,
el vehículo dispone de un sistema CAF de altas prestaciones. Se podrán
utilizar dos salidas de 70 mm y el cañón para espuma/CAF o agua, dos
salidas de 70 mm para agua exclusivamente, y tres salidas de 25 mm por
alta presión, una de ellas para el carrete de pronto socorro.

Distrito Federal) de Brasilia resolvió el concurso internacional para la
adquisición de 22 vehículos contra incendios denominados ASE (Auto
Salvamento y Extinción) y adjudicó al Grupo ITURRI su fabricación.

On the 21st of November last year, the CBMDF (Federal District
Military Fire Brigade) of Brasilia judged the international
competition for the assignment of 22 fire engines named
ASE (Rescue and Extinction Vehicle in Spanish) choosing the
ITURRI Group as the company to take on the project and
manufacture the vehicles.
The vehicles must be ready for action during the first three
months of 2014 as they are included within the strategic plan
for the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014. The city of Brasilia shall be
the championship’s official headquarters and its preparation
as the host city is currently under way with the construction
of a stadium with a capacity to hold 71,412 spectators.
The 22 fire trucks will be equipped with a 3,000 l water tank,
a foam tank, a compressed air foam system (CAF), a fire hose
to work at both high and low pressures, an electric generator
and rescue and extrication equipment. Furthermore, they
will be mounted on SCANIA 360 hp Chassis´, with a 4x2 drive,
ALLISON transmission and a double cabin with the capacity
for 6 individuals, all being certified under the regulations EN
1846-1, EN 1846-2 and EN 1846-3.
The type of vehicle quoted has attracted quite a lot of interest
from Fire Brigades of other States, as its prospects concerning high
quality and its European design are a considerable improvement
on the fire engines currently manufactured in the country.
Los vehículos deberán estar operativos durante el primer trimestre del
2014 ya que se encuentran incluidos en el plan estratégico para la
Copa Mundial FIFA Brasil 2014. La ciudad de Brasilia es sede oficial
del campeonato y está equipándose para este evento incluso con la
construcción de un estadio con capacidad para 71.412 espectadores.
Los 22 vehículos irán equipados con tanque de 3.000 litros de agua,
tanque de espuma, sistema de espuma con aire comprimido CAFS,
bomba contraincendios para trabajar en alta y baja presión, generador
eléctrico y equipos de rescate y excarcelación. Además irán montados
sobre chasis SCANIA 360 cv. con tracción 4x2, transmisión ALLISON y
cabina doble de fábrica con capacidad para 6 ocupantes y certificados
bajo las normas EN1846-1, EN 1846-2 y EN 1846-3.
El tipo de vehículo ofertado ha levantado bastante interés en el
Cuerpo de Bomberos de otros estados, ya que las expectativas a nivel
de calidad y diseño europeo mejoran considerablemente los vehículos
contra incendios fabricados allí.

mix of civilians, troops, officials and deputy officials. 60% of
the staff have multi-functional roles to ensure that work is
carried out efficiently.
CLOIN, the wings of the Air Force
How does the Air Force (EA) manage spare materials and
goods for the Eurofighter personnel so they are available
when needed? Who estimates resources and produces
and purchases the Air Force’s uniforms? When do supplies
arrive? What happens if a member of the force’s hat must be
replaced before they enter Airside Operations? The answers
to all these questions and many more can be found at the
CLOIN: Logistic Corps of the Spanish Air Force.
The Colonel Alvaro Pino, Head of the Logistic Corps welcomes us
into his office at the Torrejón Base, Madrid (Spain) with both the
seriousness and firmness that characterizes
the members of the Spanish Armed Forces
(FFAA), yet not forgetting his good humour.
Here he proceeds to enlighten us the on role
of the CLOIN: “It is our mission to support
the staff (80%) regarding logistics and
manage aerospace material (20%) through
supplying the Eurofighter personnel’s goods
and through the support required of us in
relation to the storage of useful material
or low-turnover reparable goods. Meaning
that, the CLOIN supplies work wear,
accommodation, provisions and Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE). At the same
time it is approved as a test laboratory to
carry out tests on textile fibres and footwear,
as well as, obviously collaborating actively in
maintaining the Air Base itself.”

CLOIN, las alas del Ejército del Aire
¿Cómo consigue el Ejército del Aire (EA) gestionar el movimiento
de los repuestos del Eurofighter para que estén disponibles cuando
son necesarios? ¿Quién prevé necesidades, desarrolla y adquiere sus
uniformes? ¿Cuándo llegan las provisiones? ¿Qué pasa si hay que
reponer una gorra a un efectivo que se marcha a Zona de Operaciones?
Todas estas preguntas y muchas más tienen su respuesta en el CLOIN:
Centro Logístico de Intendencia del EA.
Con la seriedad, firmeza y buen talante que
caracteriza a los miembros de las Fuerzas
Armadas (FFAA), el Coronel Alvaro Pino, jefe de
este Centro Logístico, nos recibe en su despacho
de la Base de Torrejón, Madrid (España), donde
nos explica el funcionamiento del CLOIN:
“Nuestra misión es apoyar logísticamente al
personal (80%) y gestionar material aeronáutico
(20%) a través del depósito de tránsito del
Eurofighter y de los apoyos que nos soliciten en
relación con el almacenamiento de material útil
o reparable de baja rotación. Es decir, el CLOIN
abastece en materia de vestuario, alojamiento,
subsistencias y Equipos de Protección Individual
(EPI). A su vez está acreditado como laboratorio
de ensayos para la realización de pruebas
sobre fibras textiles y calzado, además claro, de
colaborar activamente en el sostenimiento de la
propia Base Aérea.
As Head of the Centre, Colonel Pino´s main challenge is to
competently manage the human resources, materials and
finances available to ensure that he carries out his duties
correctly. “Our services are fundamental as they have a direct
impact on the user, the Air Force personnel.”
In the past few years, participation in operations to maintain
the peace between the Land Army and the Navy has been
a great challenge to the Air Forces. In this regard, support
needed for those missions to Afghanistan and Mali have
required both new technologies and procedures in order to
cover peaks in supply on time. Therefore the Centre has, little
by little, been progressing and adapting to new demands.
The Colonel himself considers the CLOIN as a military body: “This
is a 24/7 job”. They are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
days a year. The Colonel has been in his current post for a year
yet his experience in the area of resource management dates
back to 1979. With limited means, he divides and distributes
tasks between the 4 Groups that make up the Corps, some of
which we have already mentioned: logistical support for the
staff; laboratory; management of aerospace and other materials
plus a squadron of general services.
At the hand of the Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Revueltas, we get
to know a section of his facilities as well as several members
of the Centre, including Lieutenant Javier Muñiz, Lieutenant
Gustavo Rey, Lieutenant Carolina Ferrández, José Luis head
of the canteen as well as other numerous individuals who we
were lucky enough to spend the day with. Their testimonies
have allowed us to get a glimpse of life in the Armed Forces.
En el CLOIN trabajan más de 70 personas, un misceláneo de personal
civil, tropa, oficiales y suboficiales. El 60% tiene funciones polivalentes
para asegurar que el trabajo se lleva a cabo.
Como Director del Centro, el principal reto del Coronel Pino es gestionar
eficientemente los recursos humanos, materiales y económicos de que
dispone para cumplir la correcta consecución de su misión: “Nuestro
servicio es fundamental ya que repercute directamente en el usuario,
el personal del EA”.
En los últimos años, la participación en operaciones para el
mantenimiento de la paz conjuntamente con el Ejército de Tierra y
la Armada han supuesto un reto para el EA. En este sentido, el apoyo
requerido por las misiones en Afganistán y Mali han demandado
nuevas tecnologías y procedimientos para cubrir a tiempo los picos de
abastecimiento. Así el Centro poco a poco se ha ido transformando y
adaptando a las nuevas necesidades.
El propio Coronel considera el CLOIN una empresa militar: “Es un
trabajo 24x7”. Están “on call” 24 horas, 7 días a la semana y 365 días al
año. Lleva un año en este puesto de mando, si bien su experiencia en el
área de gestión de recursos se remonta a 1979. Con limitados medios,
parte y reparte entre los 4 Grupos que componen el Centro, algunos
ya mencionados: apoyo logístico al personal, laboratorio, gestión de
material aeronáutico y otros, y escuadrilla de servicios generales.
De la mano del Teniente Coronel Jorge Revueltas conocemos parte
de sus instalaciones y a varios miembros del Centro, como el Teniente
Javier Muñiz, el Teniente Gustavo Rey, la Teniente Carolina Ferrández,
a José Luis al frente de la cantina y tantas otras personas con las que
tuvimos la suerte de compartir una jornada. Sus testimonios nos

Laura appreciates the fact that she lives on the Base to make
the most of the “bugle call”. Normally, as soon as she gets
to her post she catches up on the daily news in the Defense
Newsletter, but today she must raise the flag as representative
of the Corps (On Thursdays it’s CLOIN´s turn). All material
enters the Reception first and it is the place where documents
are collated and stock is taken. Then, samples are taken to
be tested in the laboratory and subsequently, depending on
the results of the tests and the quality, they are either stored
or rejected. The next step is to prepare stock supply orders. In
her spare time, the solider Casado has been working on the
entrance exams to the Mature Students University, yet she is
still to decide what she is going to study.

32 years in the Armed Forces (15 in CLOIN)
Pedro may not be a member of the military staff, but it
certainly seems as though he is. In addition to having more
than 32 years of experience vouching for his day to day
activities, he knows the CLOIN warehouse like the back of his
hand. He has previously worked in the munitions and tank
sectors and he currently is responsible for staff, takes care
of any incidences, sets the schedule for each day, deals with
emergencies and furthermore is part of the PRL (Occupational
Risk Prevention) Office.
Each year he prepares 2,800 supply orders and to do so he
relies on a logistic management computer system which
assists him in analyzing the products by category: work wear,
equipment etc. They are then distributed by him to CLOIN
itself, 20 SEINTS (Sections of Corps belonging to different
air bases and the Departments, squadrons, divisions and
barracks). If, when the order is made the stocks are available,
they are distributed automatically. In cases when the stock
is not available a provisions order is made, which shall be
subsequently managed by the Purchasing Department.
Once the delivery note has been issued, replacement of
stock shall begin either by the Armed Forces themselves
with programmed routes or by the sub-contracted logistic
operator, depending on the location of the delivery point
and taking into account the most efficient and cost-effective
way. Each provision has to be justified in order to avoid things
getting out of hand. In the case that the central warehouse
(CLOIN) does not have the goods requested, support may
be requested from nearby SEINTS; a profitable form of
management which avoids stock going out of date.

Pedro no es militar pero como si lo fuera. Su experiencia de más de 32
años avala su quehacer diario. Conoce el almacén del CLOIN como su
propia casa. Anteriormente prestó servicio en secciones de munición y
carros de combate. Controla al personal, las incidencias, organizar las
agendas del día, atiende a las urgencias y además forma parte de la
Oficina de PRL (Prevención de Riesgos Laborales).
Cada año prepara unas 2.800 órdenes de suministro, para ello
cuenta con un sistema informático de gestión logística que le ayuda
a desgranar por categorías de productos: vestuario, equipo, etc.
Distribuye al propio CLOIN, 20 SEINTs (Secciones de Intendencia de
diferentes Bases Aéreas y las Unidades, escuadrones, secciones,
cuarteles…). Si en el momento de la petición cuenta con existencias
se sirve automáticamente, en caso de no tener existencias, se genera
un pedido de aprovisionamiento, que a posteriori gestionará el
Departamento de Compras. Una vez que la nota de envío está emitida
comienza el reparto bien por medios orgánicos de las FFAA con rutas
programadas o por operador logístico subcontratado, en función de la
ubicación del punto de entrega, de modo que la eficiencia sea la mayor
y el coste el menor. Cada abastecimiento tiene que ser justificado para
evitar el descontrol. En caso de que el almacén central (CLOIN) no
tenga el material solicitado se pueden realizar apoyos laterales entre
SEINTs, una forma muy rentable de gestionar y evitar obsolescencias.

7 años en las FFAA (CLOIN)
Laura aprovecha que vive en la Base para apurar al máximo antes
del “toque de corneta”. Normalmente, en cuanto llega al puesto
echa un vistazo al Boletín de Defensa para estar al día, pero hoy le
ha tocado acudir al izado de bandera como representante del Centro
(los jueves es el turno del CLOIN). En la oficina de recepción se da
entrada al material. Se cotejan los documentos y se hace recuento.
A continuación, se sacan muestras para analizar en el laboratorio
y según los resultados de los ensayos y calidad, se almacenan o se
rechazan. Luego se preparan las órdenes de suministro. La soldado
Casado en su tiempo libre se ha preparado el acceso a la Universidad
para mayores. Todavía tiene que decidir qué va a estudiar.

Grinning from ear to ear, Soraya Texeida and the forklift
which never leaves her side represent the next link in the
supply chain in the preparation of all orders issued by her
colleague Laura. Soraya specializes in loading and unloading
the accommodation section (mattresses, pillows etc.) and she
is very happy to form part of the Spanish Army due to the
excellent working environment and stability of the post.

Soldier (SEINTS shipping: Corps sections) 26 years old
At 26 years old, the soldier Pando performs all her tasks with
the utmost diligence; no paperwork ever passes her by. She
checks all the materials that have been prepared before they
are sealed and from here they begin their journey along the
distribution circuit to supply the Units and Centres.
Con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja Soraya Texeira y su inseparable
carretilla elevadora constituyen el siguiente eslabón de la cadena de
suministro preparando las órdenes que indique su compañera Laura.
Su especialidad es la carga y descarga de la sección de alojamiento
(colchones, almohadas, etc). Es feliz de formar parte del Ejército Español
ya que le aporta un buen ambiente de trabajo y estabilidad laboral.

A sus 26 años, la soldado Pando realiza su tarea de forma diligente. No
hay papeleo que se le resista. Comprueba los materiales preparados
antes de ser precintados. De aquí pasan al circuito de distribución para
abastecer a las Unidades y Centros.

Sorprendemos a Paloma en su hora del bocadillo. Aun así nos cuenta
que su jornada comienza todos los días bien temprano. Paloma es una
amante de los perros y saca a los suyos todas las mañanas durante
1 hora antes de dirigirse a la Base. A las 7.30 h las máquinas de

We surprise Paloma on her lunch break, yet she still doesn’t mind
telling us all about her working day, which begins very early
indeed. Paloma is a dog lover and she enjoys taking her pets
out for a 1 hour walk every morning before she heads to the
Base. At 7.30 the sewing machines are up and running and soon
enough the staff begin to file into the office lead by the testers.
The atmosphere and pace of work in the office is pleasant and
there is plenty of work to be done before 14.30. Then Paloma
will head home and her afternoon consists of going swimming
and to the gym, and of course spending time with her dogs.

Last but not least, we round off our visit with Commander Iranzo
who gives us a summary of the role of the organization as a
whole. His job in particular is a combination of the management
of employees, software control, organizing visits, maintenance
of buildings – all of which he juggles with spending time with
his wife and barely one year old daughter as well as his hobbies.
Iranzo lives on the Base; “The Family Living Quarters are very
well organized and we have a wide range of services at our
disposal.” Every afternoon without fail there are recreational
activities on offer, such as tennis, swimming, yet the sport he
dedicates most time to, being a monitor, is paddle tennis. The
Base does not truly test him with regards to his one true passion
so he must regularly head out to the suburbs to compete and
share the energy he puts into each and every match.

Por último concluimos nuestra visita con el Comandante Iranzo quien
recapitula el funcionamiento de toda la organización. Su trabajo es un
compendio de gestión de personas, control informático, organización
de visitas, mantenimiento de edificios y, todo esto lo compagina con
su mujer, su hija Luna de apenas un año y sus aficiones. Iranzo vive
en la Base “La residencia para familias está muy bien organizada
y contamos con muchos servicios”. Así que todas las tardes hay
actividades lúdicas: tenis, piscina, pero su pasión es el padel, deporte
del que incluso es monitor. En este campo, la Base se le queda pequeña,
así que tiene que salir al extrarradio para competir y compartir la
energía que derrocha en cada partido.
Desde estas líneas, agradecemos al CLOIN, al Coronel Pino y a todos
los entrevistados el tiempo y entusiasmo demostrados durante nuestra

optimum safety for

After the standard UNE EN 1789-2007+A1:2010 came into effect at
the end of the year 2012, the ITURRI Group have presented their
customers of the Class C Ambulance with a solution aiming to
provide the key to the demands of the market of medical emergency
vehicles.
DLOUHY, the prestigious Austrian vehicle body builders, have
come to an agreement with the ITURRI Group which consists in the
exchange of engineering for the manufacture and distribution of
ambulances in the Spanish market.

The new agreement deals with an ambulance which fulfills
all the requisites demanded for in the UNE EN 1789 for its
manufacture. In this case, the vehicle complies with the
demanding manufacture and vehicle body building methods
established by the Standard referred to above. TUV, a
prestigious German laboratory that works on a European
scale regarding this type of analysis, has been responsible for
confirming that each and every one of the tests conform with
that stated in the Standard.
With the addition of this ambulance, the emergency services
will from now on offer a much higher standard of safety for
their patients as well as their staff.

The requirements expected of the emergency services and
their associates continue to increase both in number and
variety, as well as complexity. Their job nearly always consists
of rescuing and attending patients quickly and efficiently.
Both the emergency services and the technical team necessary
must get to the site and be ready to work in the shortest
amount of time possible, ensuring that all individuals receive
medical care and attention and are transported in a safe
environment that conforms with all medical regulations. The
vehicles required to achieve this must provide the emergency
services staff with the uppermost possible comfort and safety
in order to perform their jobs with the greatest expertise.
Integrated emergency siren equipment
It is essential that ambulances have priority regarding road
traffic; when there is a lot of traffic they must be able to
attract attention immediately. The recently developed
integrated siren equipment is innovative and integrated to
promote the public’s awareness of the ambulance’s presence
as it is impossible not to hear it, and on top of that it barely
increases the overall height of the vehicle. In addition, its
design is aesthetically pleasing and it contributes to safe fuel
while it is in action.

posibilidades de diseño, que se pueden adaptar perfectamente a las

Safety
The safety of these vehicles has the maximum priority.
Both static and dynamic tests (10kg test) have been carried

As it is precisely the emergency teams that are subject to the
highest risks, it is reassuring for them to know that everything
has been done regarding their safety that of the patients.

Ambulance for the Argentona Red Cross
Last April, the ITURRI Group delivered a Basic Life Support
ambulance (BLS) to the Argentona Red Cross General
Assembly.
This Assembly has a new vehicle now at its disposal which
shall be put into action attending the towns of Maresme,
Argentona, Dosrius and Orrius. At the same it will provide
emergency services for large international sporting events
across the province of Barcelona such as the Formula 1 Grand
Prix, the Moto GP at the Montmeló track, the triathlon coast
challenge in Maresme and the Barcelona Marathon.
It will also be offering its services for numerous sporting
and cultural events like the Patum de Berga and big local
and regional holidays. It shall also be responsible for local or
regional emergencies when the local councils, local police or
mossos désquadra (Catalonia Police Force) require so, as well
as in the search for missing persons and the corresponding
psychological and logistical support. The vehicle shall also

The Consorci Sanitari Integral (CSI), formed by three hospitals,
a social services centre and nine primary care centres, has
assigned the supply of what is referred to as hospital linen
and clothing for these centres to the ITURRI Group.

The ICS (Institut Catalá de la Salut) is made up of 8 reference
hospitals across the whole of Catalonia. Amongst primary
care centres, specialised outpatient care, laboratories
and other centres, the total number exceeds 500 centres
in which 39,500 professionals are employed. This means
that the ICS is the biggest provider of health services in
Catalonia.
After many years in which it has come to trust in the
supply of several materials by the ITURRI Group, the ICS
has opted to dress its health-care staff with our garments.
During the month of May the work wear and footwear has
been delivered to all the hospitals in the ICS. In this case,
the Catalonian organisation has picked white uniforms,
pyjamas and coats and the Easy Clean Water shoes and the

The fourth edition of Customer Day in Bielsko-Biała was a
perfect occasion to talk, discuss and exchange experiences
and allowed for tightenning the bound with present clients
and for aquiring new ones. During the Customer Day there
were numerous meetings held of salesmen with key clients. It
was the great occasion to talk with the major clients.
Despite the cold weather Top Safety presentation gathered
most of visitors by demonstration stage at the entering to
the Parkhotel Vienna. The show presented rescue operation
at high altitude.
Collective work of Polish and Spanish Iturri Group team
during that event completed solemn dinner with customers
at the end of the day.

discuss conscious safety was held in the Bielsko-Biała (Poland)
Parkhotel Vienna on the 24th of May.
The participants presented and discussed many issues which
were covered in topical panels: “Innovative solutions” and
“Chosen issues in scope of work safety”.
Honoured guests and representatives delivered speeches.
During the event a group of suppliers like: 3M, Ansell,
Skydda, Gore, Estambril, Mapa, Jal Group, Honeywell, Tork,
Centurion, ATG, Strzelce Opolskie, Grene, Coba, Protektor
presented the newest solutions in the field of Safety and
Hygiene at Work giving an active workshops that triggered
better knowledge of the products. There were also some
seminars and multimedia presentation held.
The show of the Thermal Camera device by Jesus Angel del
Campo (PRAISS System) and the show of BullsEye by Jac
Haagen aroused great interest among the participants.
About 350 of visitors took part in the event. The representative
of the Mayor of Bielsko-Biała, Henryk Juszczyk honoured the
official part of Customer Day with his presence.

During the 4th and 5th of April, the first Latin American Forum
on Integrated Fire Management was held in the Colombian
city of Cali. This forum was organised by the Office of the
U.S Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), one of the most
active organisations in promoting forest fire prevention and
protection in Latin America.
This event was organised by excellent hosts, the Cali Volunteer
Fire Brigade, who warmly welcomed the representatives
of fire brigades and institutions associated with forest fire
prevention from practically all the Latin American countries.
Durante los días 4 y 5 de Abril se celebró en la ciudad colombiana de
Cali el primer Foro Latinoamericano de Manejo Integral del Fuego.
Este foro fue organizado por la Oficina de los Estados Unidos de
Asistencia para desastres en el extranjero, una de las instituciones más
activas en el fomento de la prevención y protección de los incendios
forestales en América Latina.
During these few days guests had the chance to share their
experiences and attend talks given by different experts on
fire management. The unified atmosphere created between
the different countries was outstanding as members were
organised into working groups and the outcome of the event
as perceived by the participants was very positive indeed.
Este evento tuvo unos magníficos anfitriones, el Cuerpo de
Bomberos Voluntarios de Cali, que acogió con su calidez habitual
a los representantes de los cuerpos de bomberos y de instituciones
relacionadas con la protección forestal de prácticamente todos los
países de América Latina.
The ITURRI Group participated in the forum as guest supplier
and had the opportunity to hold a forest fire fighting vehicle
exhibition for all attendants at the Cali Inter-American Fire
Fighting School.

Durante esos dos días se pudieron compartir experiencias y escuchar
las charlas de los diferentes expertos en el manejo del fuego. El
ambiente de colaboración entre los diferentes países fue excelente,
se organizaron grupos de trabajo y las conclusiones de todos los
asistentes al evento fueron muy positivas.

The ITURRI Group attended the latest HOMSEC representing
two separate purposes.
On the one hand, the ITURRI Group exhibited their skills in
the textiles and footwear sector with the Joint Venture of
the Land Army Basic Equipment, represented at the AESMIDE
stand. In addition they were present at another post with
Cristianini for CBR decontamination.

The impact of the Fair has been very positive indeed. The
ITURRI Group was visited by numerous individuals associated
with the Spanish Interior Ministry and Ministry of Defence,
and all the products and skills on display met even the most

En la pasada edición de HOMSEC, el Grupo ITURRI ha estado presente
por partida doble.
Por un lado, mostrando sus capacidades en la parte textil y de
calzado, con el contrato de la UTE de Equipo Básico de Ejército de
Tierra, representados en el stand de AESMIDE. Y en otro escenario,
con Cristanini en descontaminación NBQ.
El balance de la feria ha sido muy positivo. El Grupo ITURRI ha contado
con la visita de numerosas personalidades vinculadas a los Ministerios
de Defensa e Interior, y todos los productos y capacidades mostradas
han satisfecho las expectativas más exigentes.

The companies in Peru have faced new safety challenges since
the publication of the new Law 29783 on Occupational Health
and Safety, especially in the case of electrical companies due
to the regulation on Occupational Health and Safety in the
Electricity Sector recently coming into effect. For this reason
the seminar received excellent feedback from the companies
of the sector present.
Las empresas de Perú se enfrentan a nuevos retos de seguridad desde
la publicación de la nueva Ley 29783 de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo
y, en el caso de las empresas eléctricas, tras la reciente entrada en vigor
del Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo de las actividades
eléctricas. Por este motivo, el seminario tuvo muy buena acogida entre
las empresas del sector.

Keeping employees of the Electricity Industry safe
At the start of this year, the Peruvian affiliates of Endesa
(Edelnor, Edegel and EEPSA) entrusted the ITURRI Group
with the production of their personnel’s protective work
wear. In 2012, Endesa had previously defined the unique
technical specifications with which the work wear of all their
personnel in Latin America must comply. The ITURRI Group’s
work wear division therefore designed a solution taking
these requirements into consideration and was subsequently
chosen as the supplier.

seminar aimed at Endesa’s contracting firms in Peru on the

and on the other, raise awareness on the importance of using
suitable work wear that protects against risks.

Our vehicles at Seville Fair
Our vehicles form part of the special emergency service
that Seville City Council deploys for the Seville Fair. A Heavy
Urban Pump is deployed, with a capacity for 4,000 litres,
with a CAFS incorporated and fitted with all the tools and
equipment necessary to act in an emergency. As tradition
demands, the usual colleagues couldn’t stay away from the
marquees at the fair!
