Light up the Night
Dear Friends,
As you read this I am preaching the retreat for the
men to be ordained Deacons in the Diocese of
Pensacola/Tallahassee. You are in my prayers and
in my heart as I celebrate Mass during this retreat.
Reflecting on the Gospel we need to ask the Lord
to open the eyes of our heart and soul so that we
may truly see His grace all about us...even in the
midst of conflict and division. We pray that the
Holy Spirit fill our hearts with courage, so that we,
like Bartimaeus, might boldly call out to Jesus in
our need, confident that He can save us.
Be assured of my prayers for you and for your dear
ones. May the good Lord bless you with wisdom
and peace. Please pray for me.

Queridos Amigos,
Cuando lean estas letras estaré predicando el retiro de
ordenación Diaconal para los candidatos de la Diócesis
de Pensacola/Tallahassee. Están en mis oraciones y en mi
corazón durante las celebraciones de las Misas aquí durante
el retiro.
Reflexionando sobre el Evangelio de hoy le pedimos al
Señor que abra los ojos de nuestro corazón y nuestra alma
para poder percibir su gracia que nos rodea...aun en medio
de los conflictos y la división. Le pedimos al Espíritu
Santo que llene nuestros corazones de fuerza, para así,
como Bartimeo, podamos clamar a Jesús en nuestras
