OUR CATHOLIC APPEAL
This year the Church is celebrating the Year of
Mercy. While we sometimes limit "mercy" to
"forgiveness," Christ's example shows us so much
more. It is about finding ways to better serve our
brothers and sisters in need and what
better way to support Our Catholic
Appeal. The OCA helps our diocesan
family care for those who are suffering,
defend human life and dignity, engage
youth through educations and campus
ministry and evangelize more people. Our
assessment is $102,108.00 through April
15, 2016 we have payments in
the amount of $43,386.66. Balance needed to reach
our assessment is $58,721.34.
THANK YOU to the 287 families who have pledged
and have paid their pledge in full or have made a
partial payment towards their pledge.

Este año la Iglesia esta celebrando el
Año de la Misericordia. Aunque a veces limitamos
“misericordia” a “perdonar”, el ejemplo de Cristo nos
demuestra que es mucho más. Se trata de encontrar
la manera de servir mejor a nuestros hermanos y hermanas necesitados y que mejor manera que
apoyar a Nuestro Llamado Católico (OCA
por sus siglas en ingles). OCA ayuda a
nuestra familia diocesana a cuidar a los que
sufren, defender la vida y la dignidad humana, envolver a los jóvenes a través de la
educación y los ministerios y evangelizar a
más personas. Nuestra cuota es $102,
108.00. Al 15 de abril de 2016 hemos recibido pagos por un total de $43,386.66. El balance pendiente para poder cumplir con la cuota asignada es de $58,721.34. GRACIAS A LAS 287 familias
que hicieron su compromiso y han completado sus
pagos o han hecho un pago parcial para cumplir
con su compromiso.
