Thank You All!
As you know, this year we made the decision to end the
Spring Fling event, and in place of it, we started the Feast
of St. Colette. We had a great turn out of over 100 people,
which we think is very successful. Also, a great success is
the fact that besides the raffle, our Parish finally made
over $8,000.
Thank you to everyone for preparing this dinner-dance,
but also for taking part in the novena that truly prepared us
for this celebration of our patron saint. I would especially
like to thank Fr. Brian Simpson, Lori Brandt, as everyone
who helped make this event a success.
I think I can say “see you again next year” when we celebrate our beloved St. Colette once again.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Parish
Mission. Fr. Pete Schavitz is also very happy and had
many wonderful things to say about you. For his mission
and ministry, he collected $4,917 And he is very thankful
for your support. If you are interested in obtaining a CD/
DVD, please contact Edy at the Parish House.
Spring is coming. Well, at least I hope that it is coming!!!

in your prayers to make our Mission experience as meaningful
as it was.
We feel so blessed to be a part of St. Colette Parish and know
the Holy Spirit is working through each and every one of us to
transform us into vibrant members of Christ’s family. With this
Christian spirit how can we fail to call more to Christ’s flock!
God bless us all,

Third Sunday of Lent
Reflection
THIRSTING FOR UNITY
In today's Gospel, Jesus is thirsty and goes to the well for
a drink of water. He meets a Samaritan woman, who expects him to treat her like dirt. But surprise! He talks to
her like a fellow human being, treats her with respect and
interest. And what happens? Why, pretty soon the whole
town turns out to hear him.
Centuries earlier, the Israelites, wandering in the desert,
were thirsty. They had no water. All they had was an attitude problem. They growled at Moses, "Why did you ever
make us leave Egypt?" But surprise! God gave them water
from the rock. No questions asked.
All the peoples of Earth are travelers on this planet together, all thirsting, all harboring our own fearful expectations
of each other. But God, as a loving parent, treats us all
with generous care and compassion. We are one family.
We could surprise each other. We could remember we are
one.
ON THE ANNUNCIATION
Spell EVA back and AVE shall you find
The first began, the last reversed our
harms;
An angel's witching words did Eva blind,
An angel's Ave disenchants the charms:
Death first by human weakness enter'd in,
In human virtue life doth now begin.
--Bl. Robert Southwell

What Return Shall I Make to the Lord for All the Good
Things He Has Given Me?
Stewardship by the letters:
O is for ownership. As a steward, I own nothing.
Everything I have is gift, and it is my responsibility to care for it. If I see everything as a gift, I won’t be caught up
in trying to possess things. It is also easier for me to share
with the poor because my self esteem does not depend on
how many things I have.
¿Qué Debo Hacer Para Volverle Al Señor Por Todo Lo
Que Me Ha Dado?
Administración por letra
P es para la propiedad. Como delegado, soy dueño de
nada.

pozo a buscar agua.
pueblo salió a escucharle.
No tenían agua.
