Leader: God of every nation and people, from the very beginning of creation you have made manifest your love: when our need for a Savior was great you sent your Son to be born of the Virgin Mary. To our lives he brings joy and peace, justice, mercy, and love. Lord, bless all who look upon this manger; may it remind us of the humble birth of Jesus, and raise up our thoughts to him, who is God-with-us and Savior of all, and who lives and rights forever and ever. All: Amen. Blessing of the Christmas Tree in the home Leader: Blessed be the name of the Lord. All: Now and forever. Leader: Holy Lord, we come with joy to celebrate the birth of your Son, who rescued us from the darkness of sin by making the cross a tree of life and light. May this tree, arrayed in splendor, remind us of the life-giving cross of Christ, that we may always rejoice in the new life that shines in our hearts. We ask this through Christ our Lord. All: Amen Watch the Diocese’s Christmas Mass on TV The Diocese of Palm Beach’s televised Christmas Mass will air on Christmas Day, December 25, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on ION Television Network (on most local cable systems it is Channel 8). This is the channel that normally airs the diocese’s weekly Sunday morning half-hour Mass. Bishop Barbarito will be the celebrant. There will also be great music from a choir. Similar to the diocese’s weekly-produced televised Mass, this Christmas Mass allows those who are sick and homebound to hear God’s Word and to celebrate Mass. Most Reverend Gerald M. CONFESIONES: Sábados de 3 a 4 P.M.
