Arbeiten mit der Spectrode Einrichten für Titrationen 1. Stecken Sie die Schliffhülse 6.1236.020 über den Schaft. Die Schliffhülse geht leichter über den Schaft, wenn Sie den O-Ring befeuchten und die Spiegelspitze 6.1250.100 abschrauben. 2. Stecken Sie die Spectrode in den Elektrodenhalter oder ins Titriergefäss. 3. Stecken Sie das Netzgerät zuerst in der Steckdose ein und verbinden Sie es dann mit der Spectrode. Hinweis: Unterbrechen Sie die Verbindung Spectrode-Netzteil wenn Sie die Spectrode längere Zeit nicht brauchen. Das erhöht die Lebensdauer der Lampe. 4. Verbinden Sie die Spectrode mit dem pH/mV-Messeingang des Titrators. 5. Lassen Sie die Spectrode während 10 min aufwärmen. Pflege und Aufbewahrung Die Spectrode zwischen den Titrationen mit dest. Wasser spülen. Zum Aufbewahren wird die Spectrode mit dest. Wasser gespült und getrocknet. Zum Abreiben der Spiegelfläche nur weiche Reinigungstücher verwenden und darauf achten, dass sich auf dem Spiegel keine Fremdkörper befinden (sonst könnte das Spiegelglas zerkratzt werden). Praktische Tips für Titrationen • Der letzte Wassertropfen, der auf dem Spiegel liegt, fliesst ab wenn man die Spectrode an die Wand des Titriergefässes hält. • Wahl der Wellenlänge: Die Wellenlänge sollte so gewählt werden, dass zu Beginn der Titration wenig und am Schluss stark absorbiert wird. Folgende Wellenlängen stehen zur Verfügung: 525 nm blaugrün 610 nm orange • Darauf achten, dass sich auf dem Spiegel keine Luftblasen befinden. 4 Spectrode 6.5501.XXX 2. IP: Umschlagpunkt des Indikators. 5 3. Troubleshooting 3. Troubleshooting Problem Die Spectrode gibt kein AusgangsSignal. Das AusgangsSignal ist stark verrauscht oder unstabil. Das AusgangsSignal ist nicht hoch genug. Abhilfe • Spectrode mit dem Netzgerät verbinden. • Spectrode mit dem Messeingang des Titrators verbinden. • Nehmen Sie die Spectrode aus der Lösung und prüfen Sie, ob an der Spitze Licht zu sehen ist. Wenn nicht, muss die Lampe gewechselt werden, siehe unten. • Prüfen Sie ob die Spiegelspitze gut auf den Schaft aufgeschraubt ist. • Prüfen Sie ob keine Fremdkörper im optischen Pfad liegen. • Wurde die Spectrode 10 min aufgewärmt? • Die Stabilität des Signals nimmt ab gegen das Ende der Lebensdauer der Lampe. In diesem Fall muss die Lampe ersetzt werden, siehe unten. • Prüfen Sie ob die Verbindung zur Speisung einen leichten Wackelkontakt hat. Ist dies der Fall, kann die Buchse ausgeweitet werden. Wenn die Oberfläche zerkratzt ist, muss die Spitze ersetzt werden; Bestellnummer 6.1250.100. Ersetzen der Lampe 1. Lösen Sie die Schraube am Kopf der Spectrode. 2. Nun können Sie das Gehäuse mit der Lampe vorsichtig abziehen. 3. Halten Sie das Gehäuse der neuen Lame (Bestellnummer für 5 Stück: 6.2804.040) so, dass die beiden Lampenstecker auf der Höhe des Anschlusses an der Spectrode sind. Travailler avec la Spectrode Préparer la Spectrode 1. Tirer la douille à RN 6.1236.020 sur la tige de la Spectrode. Si vous mouillez le joint torique de la douille à RN et si vous dévisser la pointe de miroir 6.1250.100 de la Spectrode cela sera plus facile. 2. Insérez la Spectrode dans le porte-électrodes ou dans le récipient de titrage. 3. Brancher l'alimentation d'abord au réseau, puis à la Spectrode. Note: Débranchez la Spectrode de l'alimentation si vous ne l'utilisez pas pendant un certain temps. Cela augmente la durée de vie de la lampe. 4. Branchez la Spectrode à l'entrée pH/mV du Titreur. 5. Faites préchauffer la Spectrode pendant 10 min. Entretien Rincer la Spectrode avec de l'eau dist. après les titrages. Avant de stocker la Spectrode, la rincer avec de l'eau dist. et la sécher. Essuyer la surface du miroir seulement avec des chiffons mollets. Enlever d'abords les substances étrangères. Notes pratiques pour les titrages • Enlevez la dernière goutte d'eau sur le miroir en appuyant la Spectrode contre la paroi du récipient du titrage. • Choix de la longueur d'onde: Choisissez une absorption faible au début du titrage et une absorption importante à la fin. Troubleshooting 3. Troubleshooting Problème Il n'y a pas de valeur mesurée. Remèdes • Brancher la Spectrode avec l'alimentation. • Brancher la Spectrode avec l'entrée de mesure de l'appareil. • Est-ce qu'il y a de la lumière à la pointe de la Spectrode? Si vous ne voyez rien, remplacez la lampe, voir ci-dessous. Dans ce cas, élargir la douille et ne pas laisser la connexion sous traction. Le signal de sortie • Tester si la pointe de miroir est vissée correctement sur la tige. est trop bas. • Tester s'il n'y a pas de substances étrangères dans le chemin optique. • Tester si la surface du miroir n'est pas éraflée. Si la surface n'est plus lisse, remplacez la pointe de miroir, numéro de commande 6.1250.100. Remplacer la lampe 1. Dévisser la vis sur la tête de la Spectrode. 2. Enlever soigneusement la boîte de la lampe. 3. Posez les fiches de la nouvelle lampe (numéro de commande pour 5 pièces: 6.2804.040) devant les prises. Trabajar con el Spectrodo Preparar el Spectrodo para titraciones 1. Meta la varilla del Spectrodo en el manguito EN 6.1236.020. Es más fácil, si el anillo O está húmedo y si destornille la punta con espejo 6.1250.100. 2. Ponga el Spectrodo en el vaso de titración. 3. Conecte la alimentación con la red, después el Spectrodo con la alimentación. Consejo: Interrumpa la conexión Spectrodo-alimentación si no utilice el Spectrodo durante algún tiempo. Esto aumenta la vida de la lámpara. 4. Conecte el Spectrodo con la entrada pH/mV del aparato de titración. 5. Deje el Spectrodo calentarse durante 10 min. Mantenimiento y conservación Lave el Spectrodo con agua dest. entre las titraciones. Para conservar, lave el Spectrodo con agua dest. y séquelo. Utilice sólo telas blandas para secar el espejo y observe que no hay substancias sólidas en el espejo (para no rasgarlo). Consejos prácticos para titraciones • La última gota de agua en el espejo se sale, si se pone el Spectrodo contra la pared del vaso de titración. • Selección de la longitud de onda: Al principio de la titración la absorción debería ser menor que al final. Las siguientes longitudes de onda son disponibles: 525 nm azul-verde 610 nm color naranja • Fíjese que no hay burbujas de aire en el espejo. 16 Spectrode 6.5501.XXX 2. Evaluación de las titraciones fotométricas 2. Evaluación de las titraciones fotométricas Las formas de las curvas de titración pueden variar considerablemente. La forma de la curva y con eso su evaluación depende de diferentes factores: • Tipo de indicación: Autoindicación de la reacción de titración o indicación con indicador • Curva de absorción o transmisión U/mV EP El indicador cambia su color después del punto final (EP) de la titración. RI V/ml U/mV RI=EP V/ml Evaluación: Intersección de las tangentes RI: Punto de reversión del indicador. El indicador cambia su color en la región del punto final (EP) de la titración. Evaluación: RI: Punto de reversión del indicador. Punto de inversión potentiométrico Es lo normal para titraciones con autoindicación. U/mV El indicador cambia su color antes del punto final (EP) de la titración. Problema No hay señal de salida. El señal de salida es ruidoso o instable. El señal de salida no es bastante alto. Remedias • Conectar el Spectrodo con la alimentación. • Conectar el Spectrodo con la entrada de medición del aparato de titración. • Saque el Spectrodo de la solución y compruebe si hay luz en la punta. Si no hay luz, reemplace la lámpara, vea abajo. • Compruebe si la punta está correctamente atornillada en el Spectrodo. • Compruebe si no hay substancias sólidas en el camino del luz. • ¿Se ha dejado calentarse el Spectrodo durante 10 min? • La estabilidad del señal se reduce durante la vida de la lámpara. Reemplace la lámpara, vea abajo. • Compruebe si hay un contacto flojo en la conexión de la alimentación. En este caso, dilate el borne un poco y no deje la conexión sobre tracción. • Compruebe si la punta está correctamente atornillada en el Spectrodo. • Compruebe si no hay substancias sólidas en el camino del luz. • Compruebe la superficie del espejo. Si está rasgada, reemplace el espejo, número de pedido 6.1250.100. Reemplazar la lámpara 1. Destornille el tornillo en la cabeza del Spectrodo. 2. Saque la caja de la lámpara. 3. Ponga la nueva caja (número de pedido para 5 piezas: 6.2804.040) de manera que las dos tomas de la lámpara coincidan con el conectador del Spectrodo. Arregle las tomas si es necesario. 4. Working with the Spectrode Preparing the Spectrode for titrations 1. Insert the Spectrode in the 6.1236.020 SGJ sleeve. Moisten the Oring of the sleeve slightly and possibly screw the 6.1250.100 mirror tip off. 2. Insert the Spectrode in the electrode holder or in the titration vessel. 3. Connect the power supply unit to the power socket and then to the Spectrode. Note: Disconnect the Spectrode from the power supply if you don't use it for a longer period of time (in order to stretch the live of the bulb). 4. Connect the Spectrode to the pH/mV input of the Titrator. 5. Let the Spectrode preheat during 10 minutes. Maintenance and storage Rinse the Spectrode with dist. water between titrations. Rinse the Spectrode thoroughly with dist. water and dry it before storing it. Use only soft tissues to wipe the mirror surface and take care not have any foreign material in order not to scratch the surface. Practical hints for titrations • You can remove the last water drop on the mirror if you hold the Spectrode against the wall of the titration vessel. • Selection of the wave length: Select the wave length such that you have a small absorption at the beginning and great absorption at the end of the titration. Remedy • Connect the Spectrode to the power supply. • Connect the Spectrode to the measuring input of the Titrator. • Check if there is light at the tip of the Spectrode. If you cannot see any light, change the bulb, see below. • Check if the mirror tip is tightly screwed onto the Spectrode. • Check if there is any foreign material in the optical path. • Did you preheat the Spectrode during 10 minutes? • The stability of the signal decreases during the live of the bulb. In this case, replace the bulb, see below. • Check if there is a loose contact between the Spectrode and its power supply. If the surface is scratched, replace the mirror tip, ordering number 6.1250.100. Replacing the bulb 1. Screw off the screw at the head of the Spectrode. 2. Remove the bulb assembly. 3. Align the pins of the new bulb assembly (ordering number for 5 items: 6.2804.040) with the connectors of the Spectrode. If necessary, bend the pins. 4.
