Dear GVR Village,
We have completed our last week of instructional school days, and we could not
be more proud of how the students are finishing the year. Their grit and
perseverance to see themselves all the way through their classes, and their
growth from the beginning of the year have been remarkable. Thank you for all
that you have done to support your students, and our school, throughout the
year.
This week we announced to students that next year we are proud to open a
center program on our middle school campus to support students with more
severe needs. We are thrilled for the opportunity to expand how we serve
students in Denver, and know our students will rise to the occasion to welcome
our new students and make them feel like a part of our family here. We will begin
the center with six 6th graders.

Next week is IA week, and a great chance for students to show all they’ve learned.
We encourage kids to get good nights’ sleep, and want to remind all families that
students are excused early Monday through Wednesday of next week.

Querida Villa de GVR,
Hemos terminado la última semana de días escolares de enseñanza, y no podríamos estar
más orgullosos de cómo los estudiantes están terminando el año. Su determinación y perseverancia para trabajar hasta el final en sus clases, y su crecimiento desde los principios
del año es extraordinaria. Estamos muy agradecidos por todo que han hecho para apoyar a
sus estudiantes, y nuestra escuela durante todo el año.
Esta semana hemos anunciado con mucho orgullo a nuestros estudiantes que el año que
viene abriremos un centro en nuestra escuela secundaria para apoyar a los estudiantes con
necesidades más severos. Estamos ilusionados por esta oportunidad de desarrollar cómo
servimos a los estudiantes de Denver. Además, sabemos que nuestros estudiantes se mostrarán a la altura de dar la bienvenida a nuestros nuevos estudiantes y hacer que se sientan
como parte de la familia aquí. El centro empezará con el grado sexto.
La semana que viene tenemos las evaluaciones internas. Será una buena oportunidad de
mostrar todo que han aprendido durante este año escolar. Animamos a los estudiantes a
descansar bien por la noche, y queremos recordar a todas las familias que los estudiantes
saldrán temprano de lunes a miércoles de la semana que viene.
