podemos hacer lo que nos plazca. Y no es así, puesto que estamos sujetos a
una ENORME cantidad de restricciones, sumamente lógicas por supuesto,
pero que le quitan, en la cruda realidad, esa aureola de liberalidad que ella
sugiere llevar en sus alforjas libertarias. Y si yo no puedo hacer lo que
quiero, quiere decir entonces que la libertad, en suma y resta, es un derecho
restringido que conlleva un deber implícito y fundamental: respetar a mi
prójimo. En lenguaje pedestre podríamos decir que “Libertad es lo que las
leyes permiten hacer”, y más profundamente: “Libertad es un derecho
individual acotado y dentro de uno mayor, que es el colectivo, y los cuales
están pergeñados para el desarrollo armonioso del ser humano, y es,
asimismo, un deber amplio y recíproco, y los cuales necesitan del precioso
equilibrio”. Mas si ampliamos el derecho colectivo, en detrimento del
individual, nos acercaremos a la síntesis aplicada por regímenes totalitarios
como el Comunismo, el Religioso, y el Fascismo; en oposición, si ampliamos
