The Importance of Sunday Mass
As the body will die without food, the soul will expire
without nourishment. As Catholics, that spiritual
nourishment comes at the Sunday Eucharist. The Lord’s
Day is essential for our faith.
Make Sunday Mass the heart of your week.
A Message from our Pastor,
Fr. Bob Cilinski
“Come to me all who are weary or find life burdensome, and I
will refresh you. ~ Matt 11:25-30
My dear parishioners,
Jesus’ invitation to come to Him when we are carrying a
heavy burden is a beautiful one. He will come to us. He
will heal and refresh us.
One of the most welcome sights in a desert is an oasis
where the water table is close to the surface. People could
pause, refresh themselves, and replenish their water supply
for the journey ahead. We have been given the gift of a
spiritual oasis in our relationship with Christ. Consider
creating an oasis of prayer in your life ~ a holy hour,
reading a psalm, a daily devotion of God’s word, daily
mass, pausing for a moment of silence during the day, or
praying the rosary ~ where Christ will give us the peace
and refreshment we need for our journey.
Happy July 4th holiday and summer blessings,
Fr. Bob Cilinski
Pastor

life? If you are discerning your vocation, please call Fr.

Pro-Life Message
From a former abortion worker - "All [the clients] were
told about the procedure itself was that they would
experience slight cramping similar to menstrual cramps,
and that was it. They were not told about the development
of the baby. They were not told about the pain that the baby
would be experiencing or the physical effects or the
emotional effects that it would have on them. They had no
idea who was going to be there to help them when they fell
apart afterwards. They were taken into the room then, and,
as I said, there was no counseling done. These women
basically had no idea what they were getting themselves
into." - Testimony of Deborah Henry, former Abortion Provider
Please pray to end abortions in Manassas. Peaceful
demonstrations are conducted on Saturdays along the
northbound side of Sudley Road on the sidewalk between
Stonewall Road and Grant Avenue. Call Aaron Messier at
(703) 754-9712 for further details. God bless you for all
that you do for the unborn!
Please no food and drink in the Church
Please keep our church clean and beautiful. We ask that no food
or drink be brought into the church (baby bottles the exception of
course). Thanks everyone!

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults/Children (RCIA/
RCIC) is a process of information and formation guided by
the Gospel Word and the example of the community of
believers.
The RCIA/RCIC includes a period of
Evangelization and Pre-Catechumenate where individuals
hear the preaching of the Gospel.
During the
Catechumenate period, Candidates receive training in the
Christian life and prepare for the Rite of Election. The
period of Purification and Enlightenment, during the season
of Lent, provides individuals with continual religious
experiences and an increase of faith. The final period,
Mystagogy, welcomes new Catholics into a church that is
alive in the love of Christ. At All Saints, new members are
welcomed during the month of September. If you or
someone you know is interested in learning more, please
call (703) 393-2159 for registration/information.
