Mercy Promise Scholarships at ICCS
Immaculate Conception Cathedral School, an all-girl
college preparatory Catholic school in the heart of
Memphis, has generous scholarships available for six
additional ninth- or tenth-grade students. To qualify for a
scholarship, students must be new to ICCS, test above the
50th percentile and demonstrate financial need. The
scholarship will pay up to half of annual tuition and is
renewable. The Mercy Promise Scholarship is the result of
generous donations from anonymous benefactors. For

Grief Support Group
An eight week grief support group will begin on Tuesday,
September 10th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, at Methodist
Hospice, 6416 Quince Road, and will continue to meet on
Tuesdays through October 29th. Mrs. Reba David, Minister
of Consolation, will lead the group. Nancy Bauman will be
present as well. If you have experienced the death of a
loved one, you are welcome and invited to attend. For

FAITH WEST TENNESSEE - NEW DIOCESAN MAGAZINE
Faith West Tennessee is coming! Pope John Paul II called
for a New Evangelization in which we shoulder the twofold challenge of encouraging each other as active
Catholics and of engaging inactive Catholics. For the
Diocese of Memphis in Tennessee the new magazine Faith West Tennessee - will be an important tool in
answering that call. On September 1st, the inaugural issue
will be mailed to every registered parishioner in our
diocese. Please take some time to read the new magazine.

22nd Annual St. Ann Special Athletes Fun Day
Saturday, October 5, 2013 Chris an Brothers High School
Athletes from every school and church throughout the Memphis area
have been invited to par cipate in a day filled with smiles, cheers and
hugs, a day of fun and fellowship for special children and adults
ranging from six years old to adults. These adults will compete in a
number of track and field events, as well as events for wheelchair
par cipants.
