Principal’s News
Dear Roosevelt Community,
One of our own Roosevelt alumni recently entered and won a national inventor’s contest
sponsored by Disney! In conjunction with the release of the new movie Big Hero 6, the folks
at Disney challenged children all across the nation to come up with an invention that would
make the world a better place. Dominick Quaye submitted a video of his design for High
Altitude Power Generation, an invention that proposes to have windmills suspended by
balloons high up in the air. This invention could help us create renewable energy in order to
address the problem of global warming and climate change. Amazing work Dominic! You’ve
made your Roosevelt family proud!
