Los quehaceres - Presentación Assignment: Imagine you are a parent who is going on a trip for work -- or a vacation -- without the kids! Before leaving, you tell your kids what chores they must do while you are out of town. Images: Take digital photos of yourself completing all required chores and insert these photos into your presentation video, book, or document. Presentación Oral: Use the iPad Explain Everything app to record your voice explaining each photo and export as a movie. (If absolutely necessary and with prior teacher approval, you may choose to create a computer document to display on the SmartBoard and present to the class. No written notes may be used.) Presentación Escrita: Use the iPad Book Creator app to produce a neat, colorful book that includes written words AND photos. Then save and export the file as an ePub and PDF document. (If necessary and with prior approval, you may prepare your presentation using a computer program.) Include: a wide range of new and challenging unit vocabulary (chores that need to be done in several rooms, involving a variety of tools/furniture) b) verb structures that express obligation (ex. Debes….. Tienes que….. Necesitas…..) c) direct object pronouns (ex. Despues de lavar la ropa, tienes que colgarla.) d) adverbs of frequency (to say when or how often certain things should be done) todos los días = every day de vez en cuando = once in a while todas las mañanas = every morning siempre = always todas las noches = every night nunca = never a veces = sometimes rara vez = rarely e) transitions/sequencing words a) primero = first entonces = then después = after, afterwards antes de + infinitivo = before ____ después de + infinitivo = after ____ por fin = finally You may find the following verbs useful: Hay = there is/there are Está = is (location or temporary condition) Timeline: Write (or type) your presentation text and submit to Ms. Miller no later than Thursday, March 14. Type the final copy of your presentation text and submit with rubric on Thursday, March 21, 2013. You will have access to an iPad / computer: ___________________________________________________ All presentations must be submitted to the DROPBOX before class on Thursday, March 21. Remember that presentations are ASSESSMENTS. No late work will be accepted!
