This product contains portland cement and silica sand. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not take internally. Crystalline
silica sand may cause serious lung problems. Avoid breathing dust and wear a respirator in dusty areas. Contact with the
dry powder or wet unhardened concrete, mortar, cement or cement mixtures can cause skin irritation, severe chemical burns
or serious eye damage. The wearing of waterproof gloves, tight fitting safety goggles and protective clothing that prevents
the product from coming in contact with the skin is strongly recommended. If you have to stand in wet product, wear
waterproof boots high enough to keep product from getting inside. If working on hand and knees, wear kneepads. Indirect
contact through clothing can be as serious as direct contact. Promptly, rinse out wet product from clothing.

from the surface, it may be “finished”. For a textured surface, use a broom
or brush. For a smooth surface, finish with a steel trowel (CAUTION:

5. When used for flatwork, such as sidewalks, etc. level with a straight edged
board, then “float” the mix with a wood float as necessary. If a smooth
finish is required, “jitterbugging” the mix (patting the concrete with a
jitterbug) will push the coarse aggregate down and raise the cement and
fine aggregate to the surface. After jitterbugging the mix, let is stand until
firm to the touch. Then finish with a steel trowel for a smooth surface.

3. When repairing concrete, square-up the opening to be patched as much as
possible. Remove any loose materials. Clean and dampen the patch area
thoroughly just before placing the fresh concrete. Use of bonding agents
may be helpful in some repairs.

2. Thoroughly blend dry materials. Repair area must be at least 2” (51 cm)
deep. Then add clean water in small amounts gradually, at a rate of up to
approximately 2 1/3 gal (8.8 L) per 80 lb (36.2 kg) bag (a little less water
for a stiffer mix and a little more for a more workable mixture). Add small
amounts of water as mix gets closer to desired workability, thoroughly
mixing with each addition. Avoid a wet (or soupy) mix, which will lower
concrete strength and make proper finishing difficult. The final mixture
should have a thick consistency. In cold weather, use warm water to
accelerate set. In warm or hot weather, use cool water or ice water to slow
setting time.
