La XXXV Edición del Maratón Popular de Madrid, uno de los grandes
eventos deportivos de España, entra a formar parte este año de la
Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, con música en vivo, un festival en
meta y una carrera paralela de 10 km. para convertir Madrid en una
fiesta del deporte.

hecho, todo comenzó con una apuesta.
En 1923 los tenistas René Lacoste y el capitán
del equipo de Francia paseaban por las calles de
Boston cuando apostaron que si René ganaba el
partido de esa tarde, recibiría una maleta de piel
de cocodrilo. Lacoste perdió el partido, pero la prensa americana, a la que ya sabemos que le entusiasman
estas historias llenas de encanto, se enteró de la
anécdota e inmediatamente le bautizó “Crocodile”,
“Cocodrilo”. Seguro que el propio Lacoste participó
mucho en ello, ya que disfrutaba mucho contando
esta anécdota a todos.

una ciudad histórica. Hay mucha riqueza para

Each fjord has its special charms, from the sealevel view to the alpine panoramas. Other must-visit
places are the remote farms, the Viking churches,
which are the oldest wooden buildings in the world,
the historical city of Bergen. There is a wealth of
places to organise interesting excursions.

la temporada, el Trollstiggen con sus curvas de

Is there a must-see destination in this new itinerary? What place shouldn’t be missed by anyone?
It depends, at the beginning of the season the
Hardangerfjord is spectacular with the snowline
still very low and blossoming trees. Later in the
season, the Trollstigen with its hair-raising bends,
or the Briksdal glacier. The island near Aalesund,
with its large colony of arctic birds, including colourful puffins. A quiet stroll through the old town
of Bergen and taking the cable car up to the top
of Mount Floien before walking the paths down
to the bottom, is always very pleasant.

Museum before heading to the funicular

A surreal coach journey from Heelesylt
to Geiranger will take us past mountains,
valleys, waterfalls and fjords. We will then

uando uno piensa en un viaje a Venecia todos
los amigos en seguida se empeñan, como es
normal, en contarnos cómo vivieron esta ciudad
única. Algunos destacarán sus cafés, sus rincones
decadentes y encantadores y otros, quizás no
los menos, nos cuenten su experiencia viendo

Venecia se inunda sencillamente porque está construida sobre una laguna. En el siglo V los habitantes
