LOUNGE CLUB
EN EL AEROPUERTO DE IBIZA
El pasado 17 de Julio el Dj francés más famoso, David Guetta y su
mujer Cathy, inauguraron en Ibiza la primera discoteca dentro de
un aeropuerto. Un concepto de ocio hasta ahora inédito en el entorno aeroportuario internacional.
El Lounge Club, con 260 metros cuadrados y ubicado en la zona de
operaciones del aeropuerto de Ibiza, tiene como objetivo ser el primer puerto de escala para los visitantes de Ibiza durante la temporada de verano, y ofrece la diversión, la exclusividad y los servicios de
los mejores clubes de la isla.
Un muro iluminado en un intenso color fucsia con Line Grazer
RGB de Grupo MCI, despierta la curiosidad de los pasajeros que les
anima a entrar a través de un pasillo totalmente iluminado con
LEDs, dejando ver al fondo el nuevo Lounge Club.
Iluminación y casual food se unen a la música para crear ambientes
diferentes que evolucionan con el día: el ambiente matinal, Sunrise,
emula en su iluminación al amanecer ibicenco con matices claros lo
que contribuyen a aportar mayor protagonismo a los grandes ventanales del local.
A medida que se acerca la madrugada, la iluminación del local toma
tonalidades cada vez más encarnadas propias del atardecer ibicenco
hasta adquirir un rojo intenso que ofrece todo el protagonismo a la
pista de baile.
La tarima de la zona Lounge está totalmente iluminada con Linear
Flex RGB creando un efecto de tarima voladiza.
En el techo y en forma de cráter se ha instalado también Liner Flex
RGB para crear un efecto de iluminación de foseado.

NUEVO DISTRIBUIDOR EN AMÉRICA DEL NORTE
Grupo MCI acaba de firmar un acuerdo con la empresa Designplan Lighting para llevar
la distribución de MCI Técnica en Norte América.
La empresa Designplan Lighting Inc. fue fundada en 1987 y está ubicada en New Jersey –
Nueva York. Desde entonces se han dedicado a la fabricación y distribución de productos de
gran calidad para aplicaciones de iluminación comercial e institucional de interior y exterior. Además de contar con más de 80 puntos de venta en toda América del Norte, Designplan colabora muy estrechamente con prescriptores profesional para llevar a cabo proyectos
lumínicos de gran envergadura.
Con este nuevo acuerdo MCI Técnica pretende posicionar al máximo su amplia gama de
productos y continuar con la estrategia de expansión hacia nuevos mercados.

LIGHTING SHOWCASE 2012 DE NUEVA YORK
Grupo MCI, conjuntamente con su nuevo distribuidor de Norte América Designplan,
participará en la Feria Lighting Showcase 2012. El evento tendrá lugar del 1 al 3 de Octubre en el Metropolitan Pavilion de Nueva York.
Lighting Showcase 2012, organizada por la Stan Deutsch Associates, tiene lugar cada dos
años en la ciudad de Nueva York y reúne a más de 1500 profesionales del sector así como
Lighting Designers, Arquitectos, Ingenieros, Paisajistas, Consultores de iluminación, etc.,
para descubrir las últimas novedades y tendencias en el sector de la iluminación. Es sin lugar
unas de las mejores exhibiciones de iluminación en los Estados Unidos.

MATELEC PRESENTA SU DECIMOSEXTA EDICIÓN
Mundolighting participará en la decimosexta edición de MATELEC 2012. Una convocatoria que constituye la referencia fundamental para la industria del material eléctrico y
electrónico tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
La feria tendrá lugar del 23 al 26 de octubre en el recinto ferial IFEMA de Madrid.

GRUPO MCI LIGHTS UP THE FIRST
AIRPORT DANCE FLOOR
IN IBIZA
On the 17th of July the world famous french Dj, David Guetta
and his wife Cathy, opened the first Airport Dance Floor in Ibiza, a leisure concept never seen at any international airport.
The Lounge Club of 260 m² and is located in the airside zone of
Ibiza airport. The new Lounge is the first port of call for all personalities visiting Ibiza during the summer season, offering the fun,
exclusiveness and services of the island’s best clubs. Elegant and
relaxed the dance floor provides views of the planes on which the
next batch of clubbers are arriving.
A wall lit in an intense fuchsia color with Line Grazer RGB by
Grupo MCI, welcomes travelers in the airside zone of Ibiza Airport,
anticipating the bright design of an establishment that stands out
from the others in the airport.
Through an LED entrance and a corridor dominated by the colors
decorating the club – red, black and white – a bright, glittery floor
leads clubbers to four differentiated zones.
Light and casual food blend with the music to create different ambiences, evolving with the day: the morning ambience, Sunrise,
emulates the Ibiza dawn with its lighting – bright touches contributing to bringing out the club’s large Windows.
As we move towards the early hours of the morning, the club’s
lighting takes on the increasingly reddish shades of the Ibiza evening
until it reaches a deep crimson, focused entirely on the dance floor.
The bottom of the stage lounge is fully illuminated by Linear Flex
RGB creating a stage floating effect. The Linear Flex RGB is also
installed on the roof to create a cove lighting.

NEW DISTRIBUTOR IN NORTH AMERICA
Grupo MCI has signed an agreement with Designplan Lighting for the distributions of
MCI Técnica LED lighting products in North America.
Designplan Lighting Inc, located in New Jersey, started in 1987. Since then, they have
manufactured and distributed high quality products for the outdoor and indoor commercial
and institutional markets. With 80 sales agencies throughout North America, they cover all
territories as well as working with specifiers on overseas projects.
The goal of this new international expansion is to better position the products and continue
in line with the over all strategy of the company.

YORK LIGHTING SHOWCASE 2012
Grupo MCI, together with its new North American Distributor, Designplan, will participate in the Lighting Showcase 2012. The show will take place from the 1st to 3rd of
October at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.
The Lighting Showcase 2012 is held in New York every two years. It is a show put on by
the Stan Deutsch Associates agency and attended by about 1500 New York City architects,
interior designers, electrical engineers, lighting consultants, landscape architects, electrical distributors and lighting showrooms, etc. It is without question the New York City’s
premier lighting exhibition.

MATELEC 2012
Mundolighting will participate on the 16th edition of MATELEC 2012. An edition that
becomes the main reference for the Electrical and Electronic Industry for national and international markets in Spain.
The Trade Fair will be held from the 23rd to 26th of October at IFEMA, Madrid.
