Join your fellow parishioners for breakfast in the hall
following the 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. Masses. The food is
prepared and served by our Filipino-American
parishioners. Cost os $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for
children (under12).

Parish Pastoral Council
The next monthly meeting is this Tuesday, July 7 th
from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room in the Convent. All parishioners are welcome to attend. Visitors
have an opportunity to address the Council at the
beginning of the meeting.

In order to cut down on the number of second collections, we have combined these three national
needs of the church into a single collection. It will
be taken up at all the Masses next weekend, July
11/12. The collection helps support poorer parishes
and schools in the country, the Catholic Church’s
media needs at the national level and in our own
diocese – The North Coast Catholic, and the education of priests at the Catholic University in Washington, DC. Our generous support is appreciated.

The 60th Annual Parish Festival the weekend of September 19/20 will kick off with a Wine Pairing event
in the hall on Saturday, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Parishioners involved in the wine business are invited to
be event sponsors by donating wine. We are limiting participation to five wineries. Contact Maridel
Perlas at 540-2168.
El 60 º Festival anual de parroquia el fin de semana
del 19/20 de septiembre se iniciará con un evento de
maridaje de vino en el salón el sábado, de 5:00-7:00
p.m. Feligreses participan en el negocio del vino están
invitados a ser los patrocinadores del evento donando
vino. Nos estamos limitando la participación de cinco

Annual Yard Sale Drop-off Date
The next drop-off date is Saturday, July 25th from
2:00-4:00 p.m. Bring saleable items that day to the
special truck in the church parking lot. Due to very
limited storage we are not able to accept larger
items at this time. These items will be received on
Friday, September 18th.

Registration for all religious education classes for the
new school year is now taking place. The cut-off
date is August 15th unless we reach the maximum
number of 600 students prior to that date. Once the
classes in Spanish are full, all new registrations will
be placed in the English classes. Registration takes
place in the parish office Monday-Friday from 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A copy of the child’s baptism certificate must be presented at the time registering.
Those singing up for confirmation must also provide
a certificate of First Communion. No registrations
without these documents. Priority in registering is
given to:
1. Registered parish families
2. Those who live within the parish boundaries
3. Those not registered and who live outside the
parish boundaries and are known by the priests
or members of the parish staff.
Those not meeting these requirements will go on a
waiting list. If there is space at the end of registration they will be added to one of the classes.

This is the topic for discussion at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church Hall, 9000 Sonoma Highway, Kenwood,
on Sunday, July 12 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. The presenter
and facilitator of the discussion is Fr. Diarmuid
O’Murchu, M.S.C. He is a social psychologist working in London. He currently works with homeless
people and refugees. He has published a number
of books. He is a high school classmate of Fr. Denis.
