FROM MY HEART
THE THEME TODAY WORKING FOR CHRIST
Finally, after a long, long time - this week the two
small projects in our parish and school have been
fulfilled. The ramp access for handicapped at school
and at the parish office have been completed. The
total cost of the two projects was $ 9,900.00. My
gratitude to everyone who made this project possible, I want to especially mention Mr. Ed Thaete and
Family, Tom and Connie Linnert, and to all who participated last year in the Ed Thaete Golf Classic.
Everyone who played, those who donated and participated in the dinner, to all of you I wish to express
my gratitude. Your donation has made the project a
reality now, after many, many years.
My second highlight of this week is for all of you
brothers and sisters who every Sunday honor us
with their presence and also their generosity. To
each one of you my gratitude that the Lord may
bless you and always protect you.
Jesus sent the Apostles forth to proclaim the Good
News. Each of us is called to testify to this love by
proclaiming the Gospel with our words and in our
deeds.
In today’s reading, Amos asserts that he is prophesying because the Lord called him to do so; therefore, he must continue his work. The Letter to the
Ephesians states that through Jesus, we are adopted by God to be holy and without blemish before
him.
In the Gospel, Jesus gives the Twelve the authority
over unclean spirits. He sends them out two by two.
They preach repentance and perform many healings.
Remember we are chosen in Christ, before the foundation of the world, we are to testify to his glory in
words and actions.

Jesús envió a los apóstoles a proclamar la Buena
Nueva. Cada uno de nosotros está llamado a dar
testimonio de este amor por el anuncio del Evangelio con nuestras palabras y con nuestras acciones.
En la lectura de hoy, Amos afirma que está profetizando, porque el Señor lo llamó para hacerlo; Por lo
tanto, debe continuar su trabajo. La Carta a los Efesios dice que a través de Jesús, somos adoptados
por Dios para ser santos y sin mancha delante de
él.
En el Evangelio, Jesús da a los Doce la autoridad
sobre los espíritus inmundos. Él los envía de dos en
dos. Ellos predican el arrepentimiento y realizan muchas curaciones.
Recordemos siempre que hemos sido escogidos en
Cristo antes de la fundación del mundo, estamos
llamados para dar testimonio de su gloria con palabras y acciones.
DESDE DE MI CORAZON
Finalmente después de un largo, largo tiempo esta
semana se completo los dos pequeños proyectos de
nuestra parroquia y escuela. Las ramplas de acceso
para las personas discapacitadas en la escuela y en
la oficina parroquial.
El costo total de los dos Proyectos fue de $
9,900.00. Mi gratitude a todos los que hicieron possible este Proyecto, especial mención quiero hacer
del Sr. Ed Thaete y Familia, Tom y Connie Linnert, a
todos los que participaron el año pasado en el día
de Golf Ed Thaete Clásico. Todos los que jugaron,
los que donaron y participaron en la cena. A todos
ustedes mi gratitude, su donativo ha hecho realidad
dos Proyectos de hace algunos años.
Mi Segundo destaque de esta semana es para todos ustedes hermanos y hermanas que domingo a
domingo nos honran con su presencia y también su
generosidad. Para cada uno de ustedes mi gran gratitude y que el Señor les sigua bendiciendo y protegiendo siempre.

attend one training session in order to receive
delegation by the Bishop.
Training will take place in the parish hall on July

7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m.
and 7:00 p.m.
Commissioning will take place at the Masses on

medical providers as we discuss the pitfalls of assisted
suicide and a more compassionate and effective approach to end of life care. We will also discuss how as
Catholics we are called to approach the end of life with
humility, courage and love. Speakers will include
healthcare experts and faith and social justice leaders.
