Happy Solemnity of Christ the King! He is our King and
we celebrate all that He has done for us! As we approach
the season of Advent and the new liturgical year, we have
much to look forward to! If you have listened to my
homilies over the last several weeks, Christ has called us
out of mediocrity and into an active faith with Him, as our
center. The teens are hearing and experiencing this love at
their retreat this weekend. God has not abandoned us and
will never abandon us. As a matter of fact, He is still with
us and guiding us. Are we open to being an active disciple
of Christ each and every day? As we are gearing up for
Thanksgiving and the Advent season, there are several
things coming up that will help us deepen our commitment
to our Lord.
¡Feliz Solemnidad de Cristo Rey! ¡Él es nuestro Rey y
celebramos todo lo que Él ha hecho por nosotros! Al
acercarnos a la temporada de Adviento y el comienzo del
nuevo año litúrgico, ¡tenemos mucho que esperar! Si han
escuchado mis homilías en las últimas semanas, Cristo nos ha
llamado a salir de la mediocridad y tener una fe activa con Él
como el centro. Los jóvenes estarán escuchando y
experimentando ese amor en su retiro este fin de semana. Dios
no nos ha abandonado y nunca nos abandonara. Al contrario,
Él esta aquí con nosotros y guiándonos. ¿Estamos dispuestos a
ser discípulos de Cristo todos los días? Al prepararnos para el
día de acción de gracias y la temporada de Adviento, hay
varias cosas que nos ayudarán a profundizar nuestro
compromiso con nuestro Señor.
1. Proyecto Navideño: Todos están invitados a tomar una o
dos tarjetas de los arboles navideños cerca del altar y
ayudar a aquellos que están necesitados. Comenzando el
próximo fin de semana.
2. Nuestra colecta de alimentos del próximo fin de semana
será para el proyecto navideño junto con nuestras
necesidades como de costumbre.
3. Nuestra Misión de Adviento en ingles con el Hermano
Kevin Moshier será del 27 al 29 de noviembre a las
6:00 p.m. en la Iglesia.
4. Nuestro servicio penitencial será el miércoles 30 de
noviembre a las 6:30 p.m.
5. La tercera celebración de Santo Nicolás será el 3 de
diciembre a las 6:00 p.m.
1. Parish Christmas Project: All are invited to take a tag
or two off the Christmas Trees by the foot of the altar
and help those who are in need, beginning next
weekend.
2. Our food drive next weekend will be for our
Christmas Project along with our normal needs.
3. The Advent Mission with Br. Kevin Moshier will be
November 27th through 29th at 6:00 p.m.
4. The Advent Penance Service will be on Wednesday,
November 30th at 6:30 p.m.
5. Our 3rd annual St. Nicholas lighting & celebration will
be on December 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
This is just the beginning of the many opportunities to
grow and be active in our faith! May God continue to
bless us as we seek to do his will.

As a discipleship parish, one of our significant policies is how to be a parishioner. To be a parishioner, you need to be registered, attend,
and drop your envelop at least twice a month. The registered family must be actively participating 6 months prior to receiving
sacraments or wanting to sponsor. Take this opportunity to register, so that you may meet our requirements for this year.
Como parroquia de discipulado, una de nuestras políticas importantes es la de cómo ser un feligrés. Para formar parte de la parroquia
necesita estar registrado, asistir y dejar su sobre dos veces al mes en la misa dominical y días de obligación. La familia registrada debe
estar participando activamente 6 meses antes de recibir cualquier sacramento o si desean ser padrinos. Aprovechen esta oportunidad para
registrarse, para que puedan cumplir con nuestros requisitos de este año.
