The Bioinformatics Unit (http://ub.cbm.uam.es) at the Centro de Biologia Molecular “Severo Ochoa” (Autonomous
University of Madrid – UAM, Madrid, Spain) announces one opening for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher
in the area of Structural Bioinformatics. The position involves research in the development of advanced methods in
protein-ligand docking and virtual screening, with application to pharmacologically relevant targets in the field of
antibiotic and antitumoral research. The ideal applicant should have a background in physics or chemical physics,
good programming skills, good ability for teamwork, and previous experience in Bioinformatics research.
We offer excellent research conditions, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, within the highly dynamical and
collaborative research environment of the UAM Campus, and in the lively city of Madrid. The position has six
month duration and could be subjected to renewal, with an annual salary of 27000 €.
