FOREVER yours
YOURS
And so the first month of 2010 has passed,
it seems like the Holiday period flies by
so quickly. We all have so many things to
achieve and new resolutions to put in place
that January is gone before you can work
out what date to write in the checkbook!
I love this short story and it is great reminder
for getting off our own agenda!
A young, successful, “in the prime of their
lives’, couple moves into an up and coming
neighborhood. One morning while eating
breakfast the young wife sees the elderly lady
hanging her washed clothes out to dry in the
sunshine.
We have all heard the expression “time waits
for no man, or woman”. For me this has
always been the case. For as long as I can
remember there has never been enough time.
Whether it was wishing for more daylight as
a child or spending more time with distributors like you around the world. I can
guarantee that you will always want more
time. Unless of course you are 5 years old
on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come!
Here in the USA and in many other countries, February is when
we celebrate love. Here we call it Valentines Day. Typically we
give flowers, cards, chocolate, etc. to the ones we love, thanking
them for being such an integral part of our lives. Being grateful for
what we have is a vital part of enjoying our lives. It’s also an absolute in finding success in FOREVER. You will never be happy or
successful if you do not appreciate what you have now.
I have known unhappy billionaires. What could they possibly
be unhappy about you might ask? Unfortunately they refuse to
acknowledge and appreciate the victories they have won and the
people that have helped them. They are so wrapped up in tomorrow
that they forget to appreciate today. This same principle exists in
your business. Take the time to develop personal relationships with
your team that are built on trust and appreciation. Even the hardest
business heart can be softened if you are willing to say thank you
and spend time demonstrating empathy. This is especially important during the pitch phase.
Typically we come into contact with a person that has a need that
the FOREVER business opportunity or product can address. We
start a dialogue with them; many of us call it a 1-1. This may
happen in a home or on a bus, the geography is not really important. What is important is that we make a conscious effort to align
what we are saying with what they need to hear. This is not easy
as it takes a significant amount of personal discipline to throw
your ‘agenda’ out the window for a moment and subject yourself
to another. Some of you are reading this and saying “no it‘s not
hard. Listening is easy!” I challenge you to take a moment today
to observe two people talking. See how neither is actually communicating but rather just waiting their turn to speak. Or, when you
are talking with someone, practice asking only questions that relate
to the other person. “How are you?’ “How is your family?” “How
is work?” Don’t say anything about yourself for the entire conversation. It is not easy, I promise! But the best communicators have
learned to do this. They have mastered the art of listening, asking
follow up questions, and then acting on the answers. What they can
achieve with this skill is simply incredible.
“That laundry is not very clean”, she said.
“She doesn’t even know how to wash her
clothes; maybe she needs to spend some
money on a decent detergent!”
Her husband looked on, but remained
silent.
This same dialogue happened every time her neighbor would hang
her wash to dry. The young woman would make a derogatory
comment.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see nice, clean
clothes hanging on the line and said to her husband:
“Look, she has learned how to wash correctly; she must have finally
learned how to wash them and spent some money on a decent
detergent!”
The husband finally spoke and told his wife, “Actually, I woke up
early this morning and washed our windows!”
And so it is with life. What we see when watching or listening to
others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.
Good luck as you work on being a great listener and don’t forget to
take the time to make that special someone know how much you
love them!
Forever Yours,
Rex Maughan

FOREVER product focus
Celebrate your
Heart Health
this Valentine’s Day
What are you doing this Valentine’s Day? Hopefully, celebrating a
happy and healthy life with your nearest and dearest! With your Heart in mind,
Forever Living is promoting these important products: Forever CardioHealth,
Forever Arctic-Sea and Forever Ginkgo Plus. They will help keep you celebrating
for many Valentine’s Days to come!
Forever Cardio Health with CoQ10 is a special formula designed to dissolve in
our very own Aloe Vera Gel. Coenzyme Q10 appears to support the heart muscle’s
Herculean efforts to beat 100,000 times a day. Coenzyme Q10 not only supports
heart muscle function, but its antioxidant properties support artery health as well.
And no cardio support supplement would be complete without B vitamins, which
have been shown to help keep homocysteine levels in the healthy range. Dissolve
a packet of Forever CardioHealth in a serving of Aloe Vera Gel from this day
forward!
With more heart health in mind, consider Forever Arctic-Sea. This superior
nutritional supplement combines Omega-3 with Omega-9 fatty acids. These
‘healthy fats’ are widely known to support and protect the heart. The American
Heart Association recommends 400 to 500 milligrams of EPA and DHA a day.
For people who need more heart support, they recommend up to 1,000 milligrams
a day… in fish oil terms that is 3,000mg. Forever Arctic-Sea gives you the
opportunity to boost heart health and brain health too! Research suggests Omega-3
helps improve communication among brain cells.
Forever Ginkgo Plus is a unique blend of four herbs to support and boost your
circulation and blood supply. Ginkgo is extracted from the leaves of the ancient
Ginkgo Biloba tree. Ginkgo Biloba has been shown to help support the tone and
elasticity of blood vessels. Another health benefit of Ginkgo Biloba, according
to wholehealthmd.com, is that it has been shown to increase blood flow to the
brain and extremities, making it particularly useful for circulatory support. As an
antioxidant, Ginkgo mops up the damaging compounds known as free radicals
and aids in cell maintenance. Now you know why Forever Living is promoting the
prowess of its supplements!

FOREVER FIT
Most of us have heard the basic explanation of how to lose weight: eat
less, move more. And while it is good to have that simplified version in
the backs of our minds, it doesn’t help as much when we have to make
real choices in our daily lives. According to the Centers for Disease
Control, adults need 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise every
week and muscle-strengthening activities on two or more days a week.
Luckily that exercise does not have to be continuous, and there are many
ways that we can get it. Here are some tips for incorporating more
physical activity into already busy days:
In Love with
Weight Loss
At Home
• Encourage your family members to move with you. Working together can make
activity more like play. Ask your family members to take a group walk, shovel the
driveway, trim plants and garden, or organize a game of kickball.
• Light exercise before meals can act as an appetite suppressant. Schedule a brisk
walk, a session on the workout ball, or a moment with an exercise tape before
dinner and you might find you want to eat less.
• Cooking takes time. A few days a week, replace one of your
meals with a Forever Fast Break bar, and use the time you save
to take a nice walk. Forever Fast Break Energy Bars have only
230 calories and are full of vitamins and minerals.
At Work
• Talk walk breaks instead of coffee breaks. Use your 15 minutes to walk up and
down a flight of stairs, walk around the block, or perform some rejuvenating
Yoga poses.
• Form a lunchtime walking group. Walk or climb stairs for a half hour before
eating and you might even eat less of your lunch.
At Play and Away
• Invite your pals for an active play date. Instead of going to lunch, dinner or
happy hour where we are all bound to munch too much, invite your good friends
to go for a hike, try a new Yoga or Pilates class, or grab your skates and head to
the ice rink.
• Plan active outings with the family. Add a game of soccer to the standard Sunday
dinner, or cap off a mall visit with two walks around the parking lot.
We have all experienced what mindless eating can do to the waistline—a few extra
snacks here and there can add up to weight gain in no time. If you are interested
in losing weight, see what mindless exercise can do for you. Add a few minutes of
walking here, and a few minutes of family playtime there, and you are sure to feel
better. Get into the habit of eating less and moving more, and soon enough you
will love your weight loss.

“Today I am doing exactly what I have always done:
trying to learn, grow and change, so that day after
day I will become a better person. I keep contacting
new people, I keep sharing the opportunity, and I
keep following the same patterns just as if I were an
Assistant Supervisor. I keep motivating people who
have a dream to have the right attitude and to be

your FOREVER business
One of the best ways you can build your business
is to use the products in your own home. This not
only helps toward your personal volume, but it also
provides you with product training and helps to
maintain your enthusiasm!
Daily personal use of the products enables you to speak from
experience when describing their benefits and features. For
example, by using the Sonya Aloe Nourishing Serum every
day, your skin will become smoother and look more youthful
and radiant. Others are bound to notice, and some will ask you
about it. But even if they don’t ask, you can very naturally say
during a conversation, “I just can’t get over how good my skin
feels!” Another example is by using Forever Fizz, you will be able
to guide a conversation toward Forever with a comment, “I’m
amazed at how much energy I have without caffeine!”
How many products do you use in your home? If you want your
business to grow, start by considering all the products of any
brand that are located in each room of your house. The obvious
rooms are the kitchen and the bath; but don’t forget places such
as your golf bag (a great place to keep a tube of Aloe Sunscreen),
or the glove compartment of your car (some Forever Fizz or
Forever CardioHealth would be great to add to your bottle of
Forever Natural Spring Water.) Replace as many products as
you can right away with Forever products; and then replace the
others as soon as possible. Your goal is to have Forever products
in plain view in every room. This not only reminds you and
your family to use them, but it is also a subtle way to
advertise to your friends when they visit.
Is Yours A
Forever Home?
prepare it and drink it with them. If they notice the Aloe Liquid
Soap, turn on the tap, put some in their hands and tell them to
try it.
You should personally use as many Forever products as possible.
Just think of all the possibilities during your daily personal
grooming and nutritional routine: from Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo
for your hair to Aloe Heat Lotion to soothe tired feet or Aloe
MPD for clean, fresh-smelling clothes; from a Fleur de Jouvence
facial for softer feeling skin, to the Aloe Body Toning Kit to
reduce inches; from Forever Bright Toothgel for a brighter
smile, to Aloe Vera Gel for a healthier digestive system. Take
advantage of the products; after all, one of the advantages you
have as a Distributor is that you purchase them at a discount.
Become a product of the product, a living testimonial, a walking
advertisement. Make yours a Forever home, and watch what it
does for your Forever business!
Give yourself a personal challenge to give a
Forever product taste or feel to everyone who
steps into your home. You could offer your
guests some herbal tea, and then prominently
display the box of Aloe Blossom Herbal
Tea as you prepare it. Tell your guests,
“I don’t know if you like sugar in your
tea, but take a sip of this first; this tea
is blended with 10 herbs for a naturally
sweet taste.” You could keep a bottle of
Aloe Moisturizing Lotion near the front
door, and offer some to your friends as
they are leaving with the comment, “Rub
this on your hands; you’ll love it!” Any
time your guests notice a Forever product
in your home, immediately give them a taste
or feel: be bold, excited and proud of your
products. If they notice your can of Forever
Lite, just start pouring some milk in the blender,

FOREVER DISTRIBUTOR HIGHLIGHT
Nhi Huu Tran
• Soaring Manager
• Earned Incentive Winner
• Business Builders Club
• Conquistador Club
In 1988, I moved from Vietnam to Toronto. I was a refugeenewcomer, previously surrounded by war, hunger, prison, and death.
In Toronto, I initially worked at a factory since I had no special skills
or higher education. I worked with a lot of chemicals, so my skin
was not healthy, and I had a lot of joint pain from standing so many
hours each day.
I joined FLP in December 1998 after my sponsor, Loan, told me
about aloe vera. At first, I did not understand its benefits until I
received a book explaining how good it is for your skin. I began
to drink the Aloe Vera Gel every day, and I was surprised that I felt
better and had smoother skin. Aloe Vera Gel has since become my
daily go-to drink.
With my newfound confidence in the power of aloe vera, I told my
friends and everyone I met about the positive results I had received.
Consequently, I began ordering FLP products for everyone I talked
to. I was able to quit my job in 2007 and became a full-time FLP
Distributor. Now I have a good income from selling the products,
combined with better health and beauty. I have more free time, and
I have become financially independent and confident in myself. My
lifestyle has totally changed. I also have more time with my family to
travel or to meet with friends and customers. I love what I’m doing!
Many thanks to Forever Living Products, and thanks to Rex
Maughan and his family; also, thanks to Willie Hsu, Toronto’s RSD.
Thank you to my upline: Mui Ma, Sylvie, Kathy, Loan, and to my
downlines: Le, Thinh, Abrahim, Tien, Baljeet, Raj, and Mai; and
thanks to my crosslines: Mohsen and Domenou. Finally, thanks to
Canada: you have all been so kind to me!
My dream has come true. I will continue doing what I love and
helping everyone I can. I promise to contribute my efforts every day
to our company to make it stronger than ever. My simple secret to
share with you is: “Seeing is believing.”

Margarita Barsky - Earned Incentive Level One
sponsored by Galina & Yuriy Belous
“I have qualified for the Earned Incentive Program Level One. I am so proud to be a part of
the FLP team, with whom I started in September 2007. I want to thank my downline team,
my sponsor Galina Belous, and Rex Maughan for allowing this to happen. All the Forever
products are my favorites - in my family, we use them all and love the results. My goal is to stay
with FLP forever, and I invite everyone who wants to achieve success and make their dreams
come true. To everybody from my group, I want to say: ‘IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT
TOO!’ My secret to success is to keep learning, keep doing and keep believing in the best future
with FLP.”
Eulalia & Gil Carranza - Earned Incentive Level One

“I want to thank God for putting Forever Living Products in my path. FLP has helped me to
improve my health and my finances. I also want to thank my leaders for giving me the help that
I need. May God bless them, as well as my children, for always being there for me. Special thanks
to Cande González, and to Paula Bacho, who make a difference when it comes to the success in
our business. Thank you to our group for helping us to help others. I think that to achieve success
in FLP we need to use the products, fall in love with them, experience the results, and live our
lives with excitement and passion. Thank you, Rex Maughan, for this great opportunity; may God
bless you.”
John & Katy Lee - Earned Incentive Level One
sponsored by Alice & David Li
“In 1991, a friend introduced me to Forever’s Aloe Vera Gel and Aloe Propolis Creme. For two years,
we simply used the products; however, we noticed they improved our health and gave us a better lifestyle.
In 1993, we were in financial difficulties and saw the Forever business opportunity as our only hope to
change our lives. So during the past 16 years, Forever has not only changed our lives, but it has also
given us a new life to live happier, healthier and wealthier.
This is the 6th car incentive award we have received. We want to thank Rex; our area RSDs, Rick &
Kim Nitta; Elizabeth Serre from the Home Office; and all our VIP group downlines. Our goal is to
achieve higher cases and help more downlines to reach their goals.”
Luz Elena Lopez - Earned Incentive Level One
sponsored by Julia Molina
““Since 1998 I have been thrilled to be a part of this wonderful company that is Forever Living
Products. In FLP I have achieved the greatest successes of my life: being a member of the President’s Club,
Business Builder’s Club, Conquistador Club, and I have also qualified for the Profit Sharing Incentive
as well as the Car Incentive four times. I have traveled a lot and have attended many training seminars,
which have helped me to grow as a person and made my dreams come true. I love FLP and the products.
I want to thank Rex and Ruth Maughan for giving us, the Hispanics, such a great opportunity to create
a better world for ourselves. The secret of my success is, and always will be, to persevere. Thank you to my
lines - let’s make 2010 the best year yet. Why walk when we can fly like eagles?!”

In this family, we may speak different languages, have various skin colors and distinct backgrounds. But there is one thing we all have in common: the love of Forever products. We use these products in our own families, and we introduce

It took me two years to become a Manager. These two years were a journey of self-improvement. Becoming
a Manager is not the end of the story; it is just the beginning. To me, FLP is not just some amazing products or a wonderful money-making business system - FLP is a lifestyle. It has helped me to regain the most
valuable asset and treasure of every human, which is self-esteem. Now, I know that I must work on myself
more than anything else. If I want to change my results, I have to change my inner world. Everything is
within us. My next goals are to help two people in my frontlines become Managers this year, and to achieve
the Level One Earned Incentive.
Finally, I should add that I was approached and then sponsored at a bus stop by a complete stranger. My question is this: can the person standing at a bus
stop next to you, or the person who bumps into you with a cart at a grocery store, or even the person you had an auto collision with, be your lifetime business associate? Talk to everybody about your business and products!”

“I began to use Forever Living’s products in September 2007 and decided to do the business three
months later. I really appreciate Rex for giving everyone this fair opportunity. I would like to
thank my sponsor Yan Shen, Manager Grace and my other upline Managers for their help, and
my downlines for their hard work. I also want to thank my husband for supporting me. I like
all of Forever’s products, but Royal Jelly is my favorite. To be a Manager is the first step in my
Forever life. From here, I want to help more and more people to be Forever Managers. There is
no shortcut in this business. Work hard to help others get what they need and you will get more!”

FOREVER sponsorship
2009 Festival of Trees
Saturday, December 12th 2009, marked the 11th Annual Burns
and Trauma Festival of Trees. This year, Forever Living Products
sponsored and decorated a 12-foot Christmas tree that was
classically decorated with a whimsical assortment of greens and
browns. Auctioned off for charity, the Forever tree was graciously
purchased by our very own CEO and Chairman of the Board Rex
Maughan, and his lovely wife Ruth, for $6,000. Due to Rex and
Ruth’s generosity, the tree resides downstairs in our elevator lobby
of the Home Office for all Forever employees to enjoy.
The proceeds from the event benefited the Foundation for Burns
and Trauma in Phoenix. All proceeds that were raised support
their many important programs, such as: The Arizona Children’s
Burn Camp (Camp Courage), the Forever Courage House, a
variety of social services for burn survivors, and the research and
prevention of burn injuries.
This year marked an extraordinary milestone for Rex and Ruth
Maughan, citing the 10th consecutive year that Forever Living has
donated to the Foundation for Burns and Trauma. Rex and Ruth
were awarded a special plaque depicting their cumulative donation of over $1,000,000 to the Foundation for Burns and Trauma.
It is truly remarkable that in this time of economic uncertainty,
Rex and Ruth continue to demonstrate tremendous generosity
towards such a worthy cause! As a result of their generosity, the
Foundation has established a new level of sponsorship called the
Forever Sponsor for those who contribute in excess of $1 million.
The name is appropriate because it not only honors the first ever
sponsor at that level, but also because a commitment of that size
makes an impact, forever.
In following the footsteps of Rex and Ruth’s charitable giving,
employees from FLP’s Home Office volunteer year after year to
help decorate the Forever tree. We would like to thank this year’s
Tree Decorating Committee – Janna Robinson, Sylvia Trevino,
Darla Cook, Lorenia Quincy, Donna Levy, Desiree Elkins, Monica
Pool, Abriel Dixon, Kathy Kratzer, Cynthia Hampton, Sarah
Carballo, Paul Muehlmann, Josh Hitt and Kevin Ghaswala.

Bidwell Canyon Marina
Northern California
There’s another new property in the Forever family, as California State Parks and Recreation has signed a contract with Lake
Oroville Marina, LLC (a part of the Forever Resorts family of companies that currently operates the concession at Lime Saddle
on Lake Oroville) to take over operations at Bidwell Canyon Marina.
Improvements are already underway at Bidwell, where General Manager Bill Harper is working his way through a long ‘To
Do’ list. “We’re confident Bidwell Canyon Marina will be a great place for people to visit. We all knew this would be a big project
- and we’ll get it done,” says Harper. The new concessioner is completing a thorough safety inspection of the facility which will
include servicing, repairing and cleaning all facilities, plus implementing a new environmental plan for the marina. Currently
there are 680 boats in the water and owners are being contacted about the ownership change.
Bidwell Canyon, approximately five miles northeast of Oroville, is the largest state water project reservoir in Northern
California and is referred to as “California’s Best Kept Secret.” The dam itself is the highest earthen-filled dam in the United
States, reaching over 770 feet high. At its maximum elevation, the lake reaches depths up to 695 feet and includes over 15,800
surface acres for water-based recreation, as well as more than 167 miles of shoreline. The marina currently offers some 800
boat moorings, covered and open slips, a fuel station, a pumping station, a snack bar, and trailer and dry boat storage with free
shuttle service to boats for marina customers.
Bidwell Canyon Marina will offer several boat rental options for visitors to experience Lake Oroville. For anglers, Lake Oroville
is considered one of the top bass lakes in the state with a 12-pound largemouth bass and a 6-pound smallmouth bass already
in the record book. Salmon, trout (15-pound rainbow and brown trout have been caught), crappie, catfish, carp, and sturgeon
(lake record is 97 pounds) are also available.
