When we play sport outdoors
in winter it is very important to
protect against the cold, just as
in summer it is equally important
to keep cool and dry. With this in
mind, for Spiuk Underwear we
have designed an extensive range
of technical underwear that helps
to regulate body temperature by
trapping the heat between its
fibres and transferring dampness
to the outside surface of the
fabric to help it dry quickly. All
these garments also have a
carefully designed structure to
give us the maximum freedom
of movement, so making them
extremely comfortable to wear.
Cuando practicamos deporte al aire
libre en invierno es muy importante
protegerse del frío, del mismo
modo, en verano es igualmente
importante mantenernos frescos
y secos. Por este motivo, en Spiuk

temperatura corporal atrapando el
calor entre sus fibras y trasladando
la humedad a la cara externa del

TOP TEN vests have been designed bearing the muscle structure of the human body
in mind. Through the study of various muscle groups and of the way each one of them
work while performing different sporting activities, we have identified certain data
which has given us the keys for the creation of these new garments.
CONCEPTO Y DESARROLLO
La camisetas interiores TOP TEN se han diseñado basandose en la estructura muscular del
cuerpo humano. A través del estudio de los diversos grupos musculares y la forma en que
trabaja cada uno de ellos al realizar distintas actividades deportivas, hemos extraído una
serie de datos que nos han dado las claves para la creación de estas nuevas prendas.

are SEAMLESS (to avoid rubbing) and produced using the JACQUARD SYSTEM. This
system allows us to use the most suitable fabric’s stitching and tension to maximize
the specific function of each area.

Como cualidades más reseñables, destacamos que son prendas confeccionadas SIN
COSTURAS (para evitar rozamientos) y realizadas en SISTEMA JACQUARD. Este sistema
nos permite usar la estructura de punto y tensión del tejido más conveniente para

1> COMPRESSION
In certain areas the factor to reinforce is COMPRESSION forearms and cuffs, abdomen,
hips, etc. As a result, muscle vibrations are minimized in those areas. In addition, heat
loss is avoided and the inner microclimate created between the skin and the garment
is maintained.
1> COMPRESIÓN
Hay zonas donde el elemento a potenciar es la COMPRESIÓN (antebrazos y puños,
abdomen, caderas). Así se minimizan las vibraciones musculares en estas zonas. Además
evitamos las pérdidas de calor, manteniendo el microclima interior creado entre nuestra
piel y la prenda.
2> VENTILATION
Another factor enhanced by this garment is increased VENTILATION. In the body
areas where most heat energy is produced, the optimum working temperature (37º C)
must be maintained. To achieve this, the fabric structure is lightened facilitating the
movement of warmair towards the outside of the garment.
2> VENTILACIÓN
Otro elemento que potenciamos con esta prenda es una mayor VENTILACIÓN. En las
zonas del cuerpo donde se produce más cantidad de energía calórica es necesario
mantener la temperatura ideal de trabajo (37º C). Para ello se aligera la estructura del
tejido facilitando así el movimiento del aire caliente hacia el exterior de la prenda.
3> THERMOREGULATION
By creating the abovementioned inner microclimate, we avoid body overheating.
Trapping the heat generated by the body and distributing it towards the areas where
it is most needed, the energy generated to cool us down is optimised and muscle
power is therefore increased.
3> TERMORREGULACIÓN
Mediante la creación del microclima interior al que hemos hecho referencia anteriormente
se evita el sobrecalentamiento del cuerpo. Atrapando el calor generado por el cuerpo y
distribuyéndolo hacia las zonas en que más se precisa, optimizamos la energía generada
para nuestra refrigeración y así incrementar la potencia muscular.
4> PERSPIRATION
One of the key functions of any underwear garment is to keep the skin as dry as
possible. The areas dedicated to the evacuation of moisture armpits, lower back
and armfolds are given high capillarity. This means that they capture moisture from
perspiration and break it up, spreading it throughout the fabric. As a result, and
thanks to the heat generated by the body itself, this moisture is pushed away to the
outer layer of the fabric, achieving quick dispersion and drying.
4> TRANSPIRACIÓN
Una de las funciones cruciales de cualquier prenda interior es mantener la piel lo más
seca posible. Las zonas dedicadas a la evacuación de la humedad (axilas, riñones, pliegues
brazos) poseen una alta capilaridad. Esto quiere decir que captan la humedad de la
transpiración, la fragmentan y la extienden por el tejido. De esta forma y gracias al calor
generado por el propio cuerpo, esta humedad pasa a la cara externa del tejido logrando
así una rápida dispersión y secado.
5> ELASTICITY AND FIT
Thanks to the high elasticity provided by Lycra to this clothing system in both
directions, the garment becomes a second skin allowing complete freedom of
movement. Also, as the garment is fitted throughout the body, the warm air generated
by our body is trapped and is prevented from being expelled outside.

Gracias a la gran elasticidad en ambas direcciones que confiere la Lycra a este sistema

Les sous-vêtements intérieurs TOP TEN ont été dessinés en se basant sur la structure
musculaire du corps humain. Au travers de l’étude de divers groupes musculaires et la façon
dont travaille chacun d’eux au cours de différentes activités sportives, nous avons extrait une
série de données qui nous ont donné les clés de la création des ces nouveaux vêtements.

Le canotte intime TOP TEN sono state disegnate basandoci sulla struttura muscolare del
corpo umano. Attraverso lo studio dei diversi gruppi muscolari e di come essi lavorano
durante l’attività fisica, abbiamo estrapolato una serie di dati che ci hanno dato la chiave
per creare questi nuovi complementi tecnici.
AVANTAGES
Comme qualité,nous avons mis en avant que ce sont des vêtements confectionnés SANS
COUTURE (pour éviter les frottements) et réalisés en SYSTEME JACQUARD. Ce système
nous permet d’utiliser la structure du point et la tension du tissu la plus appropriée
pour atteindre la fonction désirée spécifique à chaque zone.
L’objectif est de trouver un outil très technique pour les sportifs qui cherchent à
ectraire le meilleur rendement àson effort.

entre notre peau et le tissu.

VENTILATION. Dans les zones du corps où se produit le plus d’énergie calorifique, il est
nécessaire de maintenir une température idéale de travail (37°C). Pour cela la strucrue du
tissu est allégée facilitant ainsi le mouvement de l’air chaud vers l’estérieur du vêtement.

Un altro elemento che abbiamo migliorato è sicuramente la VENTILAZIONE.
Nelle zone del nostro corpo dove si produce la massima quantità di energia è
necessario mantenere la temperatura ideale di lavoro (37°C). Per questo abbiamo
allegerito la struttura del tessuto facilitando così la fuori-uscita dell’aria calda
verso l’esterno.
3> THERMO REGULATION
Au moyen de la création du micro climat intérieur auquel nous faisions référence
antérieurement, on évite la surchauffe du corps. En attrapant la chaleur générée par
le corps et en la ditribuant vers les zones sur lesquelles on a le plus de besoin, nous
optimisons l’énergie générée pour notre rafraîchissement et ainqi augmenter notre
potentiel musculaire.
3> TERMOREGOLAZIONE
Mediante la creazione del microclima interno di cui abbiamo parlato si evita il
surriscaldamento del corpo. Recuperando il calore generato dal corpo e re-distribuendolo
nelle zone indicate, riusciamo ad ottimizzare l’energia generata ed incrementare la
potenza muscolare.
4> TRANSPIRATION
Une des fonction essentielles de chaque sous-vêtement est de maintenir la peau le plus
au sec possible. Les zones dédiées à l’évacuation de l’humidité ont une forte capilarité.
Ceci veut dire qu’ils captent l’humidité de la transpiration, la fragmente et l’extrait du
tissu. De cette forme et nous devons remercier la chaleur génére par notre propore
corps, cette humidité passe à a la partie externe du textile permettant ainsi une rapide
dispersion et un rapide séchage
4> SUDORAZIONE
Una delle funzioni principali di qualsiasi indumento intimo è quella di mantenere la
pelle asciutta. Le zone dedicate ad evacuare l’umidità (ascelle, piega del braccio, ecc.)
possiedono un’alta capillarità, questo vuol dire che l’umidità viene captata, frammentata
ed estesa su tutto il tessuto. In questo modo e grazie al calore generato dal corpo,
l’umidità passa sulla faccia esterna del tessuto permettendo una rapida dispersione ed
asciugamento.
5> ELASTICITE ET AJUSTEMENT
Grace à la grande elasticité que lelycra confère dans ce système de confection,
nous faisons en sorte que le vêtement se convertisse en une véritable seconde peau
permettant uine liberté totale de mouvement.
