Meeting our Staff:
1st/2nd Grade
Ms. Sandra Powell was born
in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree
in Administration and has a
Bilingual Teacher Certification. Ms. Powell is very
happy to be part of the SERNiños Team. She is very
grateful to be doing something that she loves and
makes her feel very satisfied,
which is teaching and guiding students to a enlightening path of knowledge. In
Ms. Powell’s classroom, students connect with daily life
and relate to their lessons,
trying to develop their critical thinking.

of December, 1941 the forces
of the Empire of Japan attacked America’s naval base in
Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Four
U.S. Navy battleships sank and
four more were damaged. 3

is that she gives her students
the tools to excel in school
and be future leaders of tomorrow.
