THE MOST HOLY TRINITY: Today we are
celebrating the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. May
the blessings of the Most Holy Trinity come upon us
always! Amen.
SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST SACRED HEART OF
JESUS: On Friday June 12, 2015 we will celebrate the
solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. On that day
special prayers will be offered for our parishioners who
belong to the devotional group of the sacred heart Jesus.
May the blessings of the most sacred heart of Jesus remain
with us always! Amen.
THANKS: Many thanks to the members of our parish
committee who organized and worked tirelessly for our
Pentecost day celebration which was truly very successful.
May the gifts of the Holy Spirit remain with us always!

MEETING FOR PARENTS/ GUARDIANS:
We
hereby invite Parents/ Guardians that have children in our
CCD program, who this year are preparing to receive the
sacrament of confirmation, to please attend the meeting
scheduled to take place on June 6th at 10:00am. Place: St.
Angela Merici Catholic Church. On that day we shall
make known to you the requirements for the sacrament of
confirmation for your children. Holy Mass for the
sacrament of confirmation will be on June 25th, 2015.
VOLUNTEERS: Please we are looking for volunteers
from the parishioners of English Holy Mass that can
organize others in various suitable groups of spiritual
devotions and various suitable groups of social
entertainments which can always be part of our parish
annual bilingual celebrations. Those who are willing to
volunteer can please fill the forms provided in the back of
the church. Thank you so much in advance.
CANDIDATES FOR CONFIRMATION: Confirmation
Candidates will have their sacrament of reconciliation
(penance) on Saturday June 20th 2015 at 10.00AM. Their
Practice for the Sacrament of Confirmation will be on
Monday June 22nd 2015 at 6:30PM. Each candidate must
come with a sponsor for that confirmation practice. Holy
Mass together with the Celebration of the Sacrament of
confirmation will be on Thursday June 25th 2015 at 7:30pm.

CCD PROGRAM -YEAR 2014-2015: We would like to
inform all parents and guardians who have children in our
CCD program; that our Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
CCD classes for the year 2014 -2015 will end on June 25th,
2015. We shall resume with new classes in September
2015. Many thanks for your cooperation.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Sunday June 7th 2015 we will
celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi (the most Holy Body
and Blood of Christ). On that same day at 12:00pm, we
will have a procession with the Holy Eucharist in the
streets closer to our church, accompanied by our bilingual
prayers and songs. On that day let us come out to express
our true adoration and faith in the Holy Eucharist.
UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS: For the safety and
wellbeing of the children in our Religious education
program –CCD, unauthorized persons are not permitted to
enter in any of the classrooms where the children of CCD
are receiving religious education instructions - catechism.
We please ask everybody to cooperate with us as we
enforce the above issue seriously for the safety of our
young children.
ST. CHARLES LWANGA AND COMPANIONS DAY:
On Saturday June 6th we shall have our annual celebration
of the African Martyrs day of Saint Charles Lwanga and
Companions and all other Martyrs of African descent.

Street Bronx, NY 10469. All Christians of St. Angela
Merici parish and of other Parishes are cordially invited.
FATHER’S DAY ENVELOPS: It is wonderful for us to
pray and honor our Fathers in a very special way each
year. Envelops for Father’s day Mass remembrance can be
obtained from the back of the church. This year’s Father’s
day will be celebrated on Sunday June 21st 2015.
MISSIONARY APPEAL: Every Year the Archdiocese of
New York assigns some missionaries to different parishes
to speak on the importance of Missionary
Cooperation. This year, the Archdiocese has assigned
“Edmund rice Christian Brothers” who will be
preaching on all the Weekend masses of June 13th and 14th
2015. On that day, there will be a collection to support
their missionary work. Please be generous as you always
have been. Thank you so much in advance.

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE: Thanks to those
parishioners that have already responded generously to this
year’s cardinal’s appeal of the Archdiocese of New York.
We please humbly ask every parishioner to cooperate so
that we may reach our goal smoothly and in a very short
time. Special envelops are provided in the back of the
church for this year’s annual cardinal’s appeal. Thank you
so much for your cooperation and generosity.
WEEKLY EXPOSITION AND ADORATION: Our
Thursday weekly exposition and adoration always begins
at 6:00pm. However as for this time prayers are all done in
Spanish language. Please join us during that great spiritual
adoration.
SUNDAY REFLECTION
In this new creation, we live in the family of God, who has
revealed himself as a Trinity of love. We share in His
divine nature through His body and blood. This is the
meaning of the three feasts that cap the Easter season Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, and Corpus Christi.
These feasts should be intimate reminders of how deeply
God loves us, how He chose us, from before the
foundation of the world, to be His children.
Today’s readings illuminate how all God’s words and
works were meant to prepare for the revelation of the
Trinity and God’s blessing in Jesus Christ - the blessing
we inherited in baptism, and renew in each Eucharist.
By God’s word the heavens and earth were filled with His
kindness, we sing in today’s Psalm. Out of love, God
called Abraham and chose his descendants to be His own
people, Moses says in today’s First Reading. Through the
Israelites, He revealed to the nations that He alone is Lord
and there is no other. In Jesus, God’s word took flesh as a
son of Abraham. And Jesus reveals in the Gospel today
that the one God is Father, Son, and Spirit, and that He
desires to make all peoples His own.
As He led Israel out of Egypt, God freed us from slavery,
Paul says in today’s Epistle. As He adopted Israel, He
gives us the Spirit by which we can know Him as “our
Father.”As God’s heirs, we receive the commissions of
Moses and Jesus today. We are to fix our hearts on Him,
and to observe all that He has commanded. The Eucharist
is His pledge - that He will be with us until the end, that
He will deliver us from death to live forever in the
promised land of His kingdom.

PROMISES OF ADORATION: The following twelve
promises were made by our Lord and given to St.
Margaret Mary Alacoque to encourage true devotion to
the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is devotion to Jesus in
the Blessed Sacrament.
1) I will give them all the graces necessary in their state
of life.
2) I will establish peace in their homes.
3) I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4) I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all,
in death.
5) I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their
undertakings.
6) Sinners shall find in My Heart the source of infinite
mercy.
7) Lukewarm souls shall become relevant.
8) Fervent souls shall quickly mount to perfection.
9) I will bless every place in which an Image of My
Heart is displayed and honored
10) I will give to priests the gift of touching the most
hardened hearts.
11) Those who shall promote this devotion shall have
their names writ-ten on My Heart, never to be blotted
out.
12) I promise you, in the excessive mercy of My Heart
that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who
receive Holy Communion on the first Fridays in nine
consecutive months, the grace of final penitence, they
shall not die in My disgrace or without receiving the
Sacraments. My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge
in this last moment.

comité que organizo y trabajo incansablemente en nuestra
celebración del día de Pentecostés, que fue realmente un
gran éxito. Que los dones del Espíritu Santo permanezcan

GRACIAS POR LA RESPUESTA: Gracias a todos
los feligreses que ya han respondido generosamente a la
campaña del cardenal de este año de la Arquidiócesis de
Nueva York. Nosotros por favor le pedimos

candidatos para la Confirmación tendrán su sacramento de

2015 a las 10.00 am . Su Práctica para el Sacramento de la
Confirmación será el Lunes 22 de junio de 2015 a las 6:30
PM . Cada candidato debe venir con su padrino o madrina
para la práctica de confirmación. La celebración del
Sacramento de la Confirmación será el jueves 25 de junio
2015 a las 7:30 PM .
CORPUS CHRISTI : El próximo Domingo 7 de junio
2015 vamos a celebrar la fiesta del Corpus Christi
( Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo ) . Ese mismo día a
las 12:00M tendremos una procesión con la Sagrada
Eucaristía en las calles cercanas a la iglesia , acompañado
por nuestras oraciones y canciones bilingües . Ese día
vamos a expresar nuestra verdadera adoración y fe en la
Santa Eucaristía
DIA DE ST. CARLOS LWANGA Y SUS
COMPAÑEROS: El sábado 6 de junio de 2015, tendrá
lugar nuestra celebración anual del día de los mártires
africanos de San Carlos Lwanga y sus Compañeros y todos
los demás mártires Africanos. . Hora: 1:00 PM. Lugar:

10469. Todos los feligreses de la St. Angela Merici y de

SANTÍSIMA TRINIDAD: Celebramos hoy la
solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad. Al igual que la
Trinidad, que podamos estar unidos en la paz y el amor a
través del Espíritu con los que ofrecemos a Dios la
alabanza y la gloria! Que las bendiciones de la Santísima
Trinidad vengan sobre nosotros siempre! Amén.
CAPAÑA MISIONERA: Cada año la Arquidiócesis de
Nueva York asigna algunos misioneros a diferentes
parroquias para hablar sobre la importancia de la
cooperación misionera . Este año , la Arquidiócesis ha
asignado " a la orden de hermanos Cristianos Edmund
Rice" , Un miembro de esta fraternidad estará predicando
en todas las misas del fin de semana del 13 y 14 de junio
de 2015. Ese día , habrá una segunda colecta para apoyar
su trabajo misionero. Por favor, sean generosos como
siempre lo hacen .
DÍA DEL PADRE: Es maravilloso para nosotros orar y
honrar a nuestros padres de una manera muy especial cada
año . Los sobres para las intenciones de la misa para el día
del padre están disponibles en la parte posterior de la
iglesia. El Día del Padre de este año se celebrará el
domingo 21 de junio de 2015.
PERSONAS NO AUTORIZADAS: Para la seguridad y
el bienestar de los niños de nuestro programa de educación
religiosa -CCD, personas no autorizadas no le esta
permitido entrar a ninguna de las aulas en las que los
niños del CCD están recibiendo instrucciones de
educación religiosa-catecismo. Pedimos a todos su
colaboración en este asunto por la seguridad de nuestros
niños.
PROGRAMA DEL CCD AÑO 2014-2015: Nos gustaría
informar a todos los padres y tutores que tienen niños en
nuestro programa del CCD ; que nuestras clases de los
Miércoles , sábados y domingos para el año 2014 -2015
terminarán el 25 de junio de 2015. Vamos a reanudar con
nuevas clases en septiembre de 2015 . Muchas gracias por

SOLEMNIDAD DEL SAGRADO CORAZÓN DE
JESÚS: El viernes 12 de junio 2015 celebraremos la
solemnidad del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Ese día
oraciones especiales se ofrecerán a nuestros feligreses que
pertenecen al grupo devocional del sagrado corazón de
Jesús. Que las bendiciones del corazón sacratísimo de
Jesús permanezcan siempre con nosotros! Amén.

MISA DE SANACION: Invitamos a todos a la misa de
sanción este Jueves 4 de Junio a las 7:30pm. Invitado José
Cortina, desde la Rep. Dom. Ven a experimentar el poder
sanador de Dios. Todos son bienvenidos.
REFLEXION DEL DOMINGO
El domingo pasado celebramos el envío del Espíritu Santo,
que selló la Nueva Alianza de Dios y renovó todo lo
creado. En esta nueva creación, somos ya parte de la
familia de Dios, quien se ha revelado como Trinidad de
amor. Compartimos su naturaleza divina por medio de la
recepción de su Cuerpo y Sangre. Ese es el sentido de las
tres celebraciones que coronan el tiempo pascual :
Pentecostés, la Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad y
Corpus Christi.
Estas fiestas deben recordarnos, en lo más íntimo de
nuestro corazón, cuán profundamente nos ama Dios ; y
cómo El nos escogió desde antes de la fundación del
mundo para ser Sus hijos.
Las lecturas de este domingo nos muestran que todas las
palabras y obras de Dios estaban encaminadas a revelar el
misterio de la Santísima Trinidad y a traernos su bendición
en Jesucristo, la cual heredamos por el bautismo y
renovamos en cada Eucaristía.
Mediante su palabra, el Señor llenó los cielos y la tierra de
su divina bondad, como cantamos en el salmo de hoy.
Movido por el amor, Dios escogió a Abraham, y de sus
descendientes constituyó a su propio pueblo, como
recuerda Moisés en la primera lectura A través de los
Israelitas, Él reveló a las naciones que es el Único Señor.
La Palabra de Dios se encarnó en Jesús, «hijo de Abraham.
Él nos enseña, en el Evangelio de este domingo, que el
único Dios es Padre, Hijo y Espíritu y que desea hacer
suyos a todos los pueblos.Como hizo con Israel al sacarlo
de Egipto, Dios nos liberó de la esclavitud; eso es lo que
San Pablo nos dice en la epístola de hoy. Así como adoptó
a los israelitas como hijos, ahora nos da su Espíritu,
gracias al cual podemos reconocerlo como «Padre
nuestro».
Como herederos de Dios, hoy asumimos los compromisos
de Moisés y Jesús. Debemos poner nuestros corazones en
Él y hacer todo lo que nos ha mandado. La Eucaristía es el
cumplimiento de su promesa de estar con nosotros hasta el
fin del mundo; es la garantía de que Él nos librará de la
muerte para vivir por siempre en la tierra prometida de su
Reino.

Sunday of each month. Parents should call the Rectory
for appointment to register.
CONFESSIONS: The sacrament of reconciliation takes
place every Saturday from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM. One
can as well arrange for a confession during the week by
calling a priest for an appointment.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK: One can call the
rectory and speak to a priest. Please let us also know of
those parishioners who are homebound. Communion is
often brought to the sick and to the homebound by
priests, deacon and our Eucharistic Ministers.
MATRIMONY: Couples must make arrangements at
least six months before their wedding date. Please call
the Rectory for an appointment with a Priest.
