Marriages/Matrimonios
Couples intending to marry should call the Parish Office
six months prior to the marriage date to begin paperwork
and marriage preparation classes. Las parejas que desean
casarse tienen que cumplir las clases prematrimoniales y
deben llamar a la Oficina Parroquial seis meses antes del
día del matrimonio.
Celebración de Quinceañeras
La joven o los familiares deberán contactar la parroquia
con un mínimo de 9 meses para citarse con el sacerdote y
acordar una fecha según el calendario parroquial.
Funerals/Funerales
Funeral Services are scheduled through the mortuaries, who
then confirm dates and times with the Parish Office for the
family. Los servicios para funerales se hacen directamente
con la funeraria, la cual después confirma la fecha y hora
con la Oficina Parroquial.

“Pastor’s Weekend Message”
Feast of the Epiphany
Rise up in splendor! Your light has come; the glory of
Yahweh shines upon you . . . . upon you Yahweh shines,
and over you appears God’s glory. (Isaiah 60:1-2)
Happy New Year 2015! God’s presence is celebrated
during this time. Today, we celebrate the manifestation of
God’s incarnation to the entire world through the visit of
the three Magi. Their gifts and presents represent God’s
universal promise and call to salvation to all people. The
message: the world awaited God’s Son, Jesus, the Lord
and Savior, and is to be made known to the whole world.
He is “the Joy to the world”. This epiphany, meaning
manifestation of the Good News, brings us great joy and
optimism to all of us who believe. Our New Year is
blessed with the presence of God in our midst. We can
only rejoice and see that along with God’s people [of Israel] many “sons and daughters from afar will gather
around her bringing her gifts” and “proclaiming the
praises of God” (Isaiah 60:4, 6). Although it was a source
of “trouble” to Herod, the “newborn King of the Jews” is
our Good News like it was for the Magi. As a parish, our
response to a new king ought to be full of enthusiasm and
joy in finding Jesus. When we encounter God in the person of Jesus our life is better. Our personal encounter with
the Lord, should lead us to “pay homage” to him and to
offer and give him our most precious gifts. May we journey to offer a true encounter with our Lord and see in his
manifestation to the World. May this hope of bringing a
year full of interior peace and spiritual prosperity for all
of us begin when we find a true need of God’s wonderful
love in the person of Jesus. “We saw his star at its rising
and have come to do him homage” Matthew 2:2.

“Mensaje Pastoral del Parroco”
Fiesta de la Epifanía
¡Levántate en Esplendor! Tu luz ha llegado, la gloria de
Yave brilla sobre ti . . . sobre ti Yave hace brillar, y sobre
ti aparece la gloria de tu Dios (Isaías 60:1-2).
¡Feliz Año Nuevo 2015! Celebramos la Presencia de
Dios durante este tiempo. Esta semana celebramos la
manifestación de la Encarnación de Dios para todo el
mundo a travez de la visita de los tres Reyes Magos.
Sus dones y ofrendas representan la promesa universal de Dios y llamado a la salvación para todo pueblo. De hecho, el mundo esperaba el Hijo de Dios,
Jesús, el Señor y Salvador, para hacerlo conocer a
todas las naciones. La Epifanía, también conocida
como manifestación de la Buena Nueva, traer mucho
gozo y optimismo para todo creyente. Nos regocijamos junto con el Pueblo de Dios (de Israel) con sus
“hijos e hijas que vienen de lejos entorno a traer sus
obsequios y proclamar sus alabanzas a Dios (Isaías 60: 4,6).
Aunque fue un problema para Herodes, el “recién
nacido, Rey de los Judíos”, es la Buena Nueva como fue
para los reyes magos. Como parroquia, nuestra respuesta al nuevo rey tiene que ser llena de entusiasmo
y gozo al encontrar a Jesús. De hecho, nuestro encuentro personal con el Señor nos tiene que llevar
hacerle “homenaje” y ofrecerle nuestros más preciados obsequios. Que nuestro peregrinar sea ofrecer un
verdadero encuentro con el Señor y ver en su manifestación al mundo la esperanza que trae para que
sea un año lleno de paz interior y prosperidad espiritual para todos los nosotros necesitados del gran
amor maravilloso de Dios. “Se postraran ante ti, Señor,
todos los pueblos de la tierra” Salmo 71.

Word on Sundays, during the 10am Mass.
This is a great way for you to be able to take
part in Mass and learn at your own level with other kids.
