Talking about every little irritation only keeps the fires of anger going. Refusing to
discuss them cuts the fule line and makes the fires die out. Does someone continually
irritate you? Decide not to complain about the person, and see if your irritation dies from
lack of fuel.

IS TRUE, UNLESS IT IS NECESSARY TO SPEAK UP.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULD COVER UP SIN. In
Matthew 18;15-18, the Lord Jesus told us what to do. [Matthew 18:15-18 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell
him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee,
thou hast gained thy brother. 16But if he will not hear thee,
then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or
three witnesses every word may be established. 17And if he shall
neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect
to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a
publican. 18Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on
earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven.]

God ants us to tell the truth. Silver is often mixed with other cheaper metals called
DROSS. A silver pot would be very beautiful and expensive. A man might cover a clay pot
with silver and it would shine and look nice. But of course it would not be of real value and
especially if the silver was only a mixture. This proverb says that wicked heart can bring
forth nice words, but it is like a pot which may appear beautiful but is really false.
[PROVERBS 10:20 - The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the
heart of the wicked is little worth.]
