Baptism - Parents wishing to have their child
baptized at St. Rita or Christ the King should
attend a Baptism Class. To make an
appointment, please call Father Kevin at the
Church Office.
Marriage - Couples wishing to be married at
either St. Rita or Christ the King must contact
the pastor 6 months in advance of the
proposed date. Marriage preparation is
required by the Diocesan Marriage Preparation
Policy.

“WELCOME”
Loving Father, creator of the universe,
you call your people to worship, to be
with you & with one another at Mass.
I thank you for having called me
to assist others in their prayer to you.
May I be worthy of the trust placed in me
and through my example and service
bring others closer to you.
I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ,
who is Lord for ever and ever.

After morning Mass the coffee group welcomed Tommy Moreno to the parish, who is from Peru. Tommy is standing to the left of Fr Kevin. Altar Server
Training
Saturday, July 16th, 10am St. Rita Catholic Church Training provided by Deacon Dave
Service at the altar by young men and women is open to all who have
received their First Communion. Altar servers are assigned to assist the clergy
on Sunday, Holy days, weddings and funeral masses.
Responsibilities include:
Participating in mass with a reverent, mature attitude,
Lighting and extinguishing the altar candles,
Bearing the cross, candles or incense in processions
Assisting at the altar with offertory gifts.
Altar servers must first obtain parental permission. They need active support from parents in monitoring
the schedule arriving early and following the dress code. Additionally all alter servers must be practicing
Catholics with good moral character and an age appropriate faith.
