Summary
The Ceiling Mounted Adaptor (SADT-100CM) is the adapter used
for the installation of the Smartdome Camera (indoor or outdoor
housing) on concrete ceilings..
Precautions Before Installation
• Make sure that the proposed location can support the combined weights (about 8kg)
of the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor, Outdoor Housing and Smartdome Camera.
• The product is designed to use M10 anchor bolts or anchor nuts.
• When installing the product on a concrete wall, use M10 anchor bolts/nuts together
with plain and spring washers.
• Each anchor bolt must be capable of withstanding an extraction force of 700 kg.
• When installing the product outdoors, use interlocking devices made of stainless steel.
• This goods should only be installed by a qualified technician using approved materials
and wiring practices in accordance with national, state, and local electrical code.

Select a location that is capable of supporting four times the
total weight of the product to be installed (about 32 kg).

Use the Ceiling Mount Adaptor to mark the positions for the
M10 anchor bolts or nuts, drill the holes and install the anchor
bolts/nuts.

If the cable pipe is installed inside the wall:
1) Pull the power cable, video-out cable and
communications cable out through the holes
of the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor. Take care not to
damage avoid damage tothe cable sleeving.
2) Securely fasten the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor
using the anchor bolts/nuts.
If the cable pipe is installed on the wall:
1) Make a hole of 21mm in diameter on the outside of the pipe (on the side
and near the tip) and install a PG13.5 cable gland.
2) Pull the cables out to the pipe through the cable gland.
3) Attach the 1.5" NPT pipe to the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor. Make sure to
wind Teflon tape around the screws for watertightness.
4) Securely fasten the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor using the anchor bolts/nuts.

Attach the 1.5" NPT Pipe (300m) to the Ceiling Mount
Adaptor and then insert the Decorative Cover. The
Decorative Cover is used for double ceiling installation to
cover the holes. Then wind Teflon tape around the 1.5"
housing screw.

Install the Housing in accordance with the installation
manual.

After installing the adaptor, apply silicon sealant around the
adaptor and between the adaptor and the wall for water
tightness. If the wall surface is uneven, pay particular
attention that no gaps are left.

Installation
Zusammenfassung
Der Deckenadapter (SADT-100CM) wird für die Installation der
Smartdome Camera (Innenraum- oder Außengehäuse) auf
Betondecken benutzt.

Wählen Sie eine Position, die das vierfache Gesamtgewicht
des zu installierenden Produktes tragen kann (ca. 32 kg).

Benutzen Sie den Deckenadapter, um die Stellen für die M10Ankerbolzen oder -muttern zu kennzeichnen. Bohren Sie
dann die Löcher und montieren Sie die Ankerbolzen/-muttern.
Vorsichtsmassnahmen Vor Der Installation
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der geplante Ort das Gesamtgewicht (ca. 8 kg) von
Deckenadapter, Außengehäuse und Smartdome Camera tragen kann.
• Das Produkt ist für die Verwendung von M10-Ankerbolzen/-muttern konstruiert.
• Wenn Sie das Produkt auf einer Betonwand installieren, benutzen Sie die
M10-Ankerbolzen/-muttern zusammen mit Unterleg- und Federscheiben.
• Jeder Ankerbolzen muss für eine Zugkraft von 700 kg ausgelegt sein.
• Wenn Sie das Produkt im Freien installieren, benutzen Sie
Verriegelungsvorrichtungen aus rostfreiem Stahl.

Wenn das Kabelrohr in der Wand installiert ist:
1) Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel, Videoausgangs-Kabel
und Datenübertragungskabel durch die Löcher des
Deckenadapters heraus. Achten Sie darauf, dass
dabei die Kabelummantelung nicht beschädigt wird.

2) Befestigen Sie den Deckenadapter sorgfältig
mittels Ankerbolzen/-muttern.
Wenn das Kabelrohr auf der in der Wand installiert ist:
1) Machen Sie ein Loch von 21 mm Durchmesser auf der Außenseite des
Rohres (an der Seite, in Nähe des Rohrendes) und montieren Sie eine
PG13.5-Kabeleinführung.
2) Ziehen Sie die Kabel durch die Kabeleinführung heraus zum Rohr.
3) Befestigen Sie das 1.5" NPT-Rohr am Deckenadapter.
Zur Wasserabdichtung sollten Sie unbedingt Teflonband um die
Schrauben wickeln.
4) Befestigen Sie den Deckenadapter mithilfe der Ankerbolzen/-muttern.

Bringen Sie das 1,5" NPT-Rohr (300 m) am Deckenadapter
an und setzen Sie dann die Sichtabdeckung auf. Die
Sichtabdeckung wird bei der Doppeldeckeninstallation zur
Abdeckung der Löcher benutzt. Wickeln Sie dann ein
Teflonband um die 1,5"-Gehäuseschraube.

IInstallieren Sie das Gehäuse wie im Installationshandbuch
beschrieben.

Nachdem Sie den Adapter installiert haben, tragen Sie zur
Wasserabdichtung die Silikondichtungsmasse um den
Adapter und zwischen Adapter und Wand auf. Wenn die
Wandoberfläche uneben ist, achten Sie besonders darauf,
dass keine Lücken entstehen.

Installation
Résumé
L’Adaptateur de Montage Plafond (SADT-100CM) est l’adaptateur
utilisé pour installer la Caméra Smartdome (logement intérieur ou
extérieur) sur les plafonds en béton.

Choisissez un endroit capable de supporter quatre fois le
poids total du produit à installer (environ 32 kg).

Utilisez l’Adaptateur de Montage Plafond pour faire des
repères sur les emplacements des boulons d’ancrage ou les
écrous M10, percez les trous et installez les boulons/écrous
d’ancrage.
Precautions Avant De Procéder À L’installation
• Assurez-vous que l’endroit suggéré est assez résistant pour supporter les poids
additionnés (environ 8kg) de l’Adaptateur de Montage Plafond, du Logement Extérieur
et de la Caméra Smartdome.
•
Ce produit a été conçu pour être utilisé avec des boulons d’ancrage ou des
écrous M10.
• Lorsque vous installez ce produit sur un mur en béton, utilisez à la fois les boulons
d’ancrage et les écrous à river M10 avec des rondelles plates et des rondelles de
ressort.
• Chaque boulon d’ancrage doit être capable de résister à une force d’extraction de 700 kg.
• Lorsque vous installez ce produit à l’extérieur, utilisez des dispositifs de verrouillage en
acier inoxydable.

Si le tuyau du câble est installé à
l’intérieur du mur:
1) Tirez le câble d’alimentation, le câble de sortie
vidéo et le câble de télécommunication par les
trous de l’Adaptateur de Montage Plafond.
Prenez soin de ne pas abîmer la gaine du câble.

2) Serrez correctement l’Adaptateur de Montage
Plafond en utilisant les boulons/écrous à river.
Si le tuyau du câble est installé sur le mur:
1) Percez un trou de 21mm de diamètre à l’extérieur du tuyau (sur le côté,
près du bec) et installez un presse-étoupe.
2) Tirez les câbles vers le tuyau en les faisant passer à travers le presseétoupe.
3) Reliez le tuyau 1.5" NPT à l’Adaptateur de Montage Plafond. Veillez à bien
entourer les vis avec du ruban en Téflon pour renforcer l’étanchéité.
4) Serrez correctement l’Adaptateur de Montage Plafond en utilisant les
boulons/écrous à river.

Montez le Tuyau 1.5” NPT (300m) sur l’Adaptateur de
Montage Plafond puis insérez l’Enveloppe Décorative.
L’Enveloppe Décorative est utilisée pour l’installation de
double plafond afin de cacher les orifices. Puis enroulez la
bande en Téflon autour de la vis de logement 1.5”.

Installez le Logement en suivant les instructions du manuel
d’installation.

Après avoir installé l’adaptateur, appliquez un joint
d’étanchéité en silicone autour de l’adaptateur et entre
l’adaptateur et le mur pour renforcer l’étanchéité. Si la surface
murale présente des inégalités, prenez bien soin de
reboucher tous les trous.

Instalación
Resumen
El Adaptador de Montaje en Techo (SADT-100CM) es el adaptador
usado para la instalación de la Cámara Smartdome (con cubierta
para interiores o exteriores) en techos de concreto.

Seleccione un sitio que sea capaz de soportar cuatro veces el
peso total del equipo a instalar (aprox. 32 Kg).
2
Utilice el Adaptador de Montaje en Techo para marcar las
posiciones de los bulones o pernos de anclaje M10, perfore
los agujeros e instale los bulones o pernos de anclaje.
Precauciones A Tomar Antes De La Instalación
• Asegúrese de que la ubicación propuesta pueda soportar el peso conjugado (aprox.
8Kg) del Adaptador de Montaje en Techo, la Cubierta de exteriores y la Cámara
Smartdome.
• El producto está diseñado para usar bulones o pernos de anclaje M10.
• Al instalar el producto en una pared de concreto, use los bulones o pernos de anclaje
con arandelas de resorte o sencillas.
• Cada perno de anclaje debe ser capaz de soportar una fuerza de extracción de 700 Kg
• Al instalar el producto en exteriores, utilice dispositivos de enclavamiento hechos de
acero inoxidable.

Si el tubo del cable está instalado dentro
de la pared:
1) Tire de los cables de corriente, salida de video
y comunicaciones hacia fuera a través de los
agujeros del Adaptador de Montaje en Techo.
Tenga cuidado de no dañar el revestimiento
de los cables.
2) Fije bien el Adaptador de Montaje en Techo
usando los bulones o pernos de anclaje.

Si el tubo del cable está instalado sobre la pared:
1) Haga un agujero de 21mm de diámetro en la parte exterior del tubo (de
lado y cerca de la extremidad) e instale un casquillo para cables PG13,5.
2) Tire de los cables hacia fuera pasándolos a través del casquillo de los
cables.
3) Una el tubo NPT de 1,5” al Adaptador de Montaje en Techo. Cerciórese de
enrollar la cinta de Teflón alrededor de los tornillos para estanqueidad al agua.
4) Fije bien el Adaptador de Montaje en Techo usando los bulones o pernos
de anclaje

Una el Tubo NPT de 1,5” (300m) al Adaptador de Montaje en
Techo y después inserte la Cubierta Decorativa. La Cubierta
Decorativa se utiliza en la instalación para techo doble para
cubrir los agujeros. Luego, enrolle la cinta de Teflón
alrededor de los tornillos de la cubierta de 1,5”.

Instale la Cubierta de acuerdo con el manual de instalación.

Después de instalar el adaptador, aplique sellante de silicona
alrededor del adaptador y entre el adaptador y la pared para
estanqueidad al agua. Si la superficie de la pared es desigual,
preste atención particular a que no se deje ningún intersticio
sin sellar.
