A Note Sharing Our Daily Bread

To everyone who came to the
Parish Fiesta Saturday! It was
truly a labor of love and a
great opportunity to celebrate
as one community of faith.
Thank you to those who put in
countless hours of preparation
and planning.
It was an amazing event!
The results of our food collection and a
heartfelt thanks for your response to our
request for pasta sauce
and canned veggies! By
the numbers...ninety-eight
parcels, plus 3 full boxes
of food, 12 cases/multipack of varying sizes of
noodles, canned vegetables, canned meat
and six bags of rice totaling 105 lbs.!
Annunciation School added 9 baskets full
of nutritious food. A special thanks to
those who drop off their food donation at
the parish house before going out the
town

de amor y una gran oportunidad de celebrar
como una comunidad de fe. Gracias a aquellos

Bereavement Ministry
Our parish is beginning a new
Bereavement Ministry and it is
designed for those who have
experienced the death of a
loved one (spouse, child,
parent, friend). There are also so
many changes and emotions before, during
and after a death that sharing your story with
others can be a way to get through your grief
and help others at the same time. Grief
doesn’t come with a timetable or an instruction
manual. If this is something you think might
benefit you or someone you know and would
like to attend, please call and speak with
Yvonne at the parish house (463-1305). The
gatherings will begin in October. This is also
open to children and teens. We want to reach
out to all who are in need of help during this
difficult time.

la salsa de spaguetti y los vegetales
enlatados! Los resultados de nuestra
colecta de alimentos de acuerdo a los
números… 98 paquetes mas 3 cajas completas de alimentos, 12 cajas y envases
multiples de diferentes medidas de fideos,
vegetales enlatados, carne enlatada y seis
cajas de arroz con un peso de 105 libras.!
La escuela de Anunciación agrego 9 cestas
de alimentos nutritivos. Un especial

Please extend your prayers to our 5th grade
students as they prepare to leave for Coloma
Science Camp this week. During the three day
trip they will have the opportunity to actively
investigate the rock, water, and the life cycles
on the banks of the South Fork American River
in the Sierra Nevada foothills. We wish them a
safe and fun filled learning experience!
Great Job to all who organized the Parish
Fiesta! The Parish grounds were filled with
great food, music, and fun activities. Our
7th grade students and parents enjoyed
participating at the event, working in the
booths to help raise money toward their
Washington, DC trip next year. It was
great parish community event for all to
enjoy!
Our 7th grade religion class will be collecting
non-perishable food items from each of the
classrooms throughout the school year to
contribute to the parish Sharing Our Daily
Bread ministry.
Come enjoy a fun-filled day with your family,
friends, and parish community at our Annual
Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8th. Start
your day with the Fall Festival Fun-Run for
Adults an kids, then take part in the carnival
rides, games, farmers market, bakery barn,
