Step 6: A new window will open for you to
indicate the type of printer you want to install.
Click on Impresora de red, inalámbrica o
Bluetooth (Add a network, wireless or
Bluetooth printer).
You can print from your laptop using ESADE
printers. For this, carry out the following steps.
Step 1: Connect to Internet following the
instructions outlined in the section on
Connecting to the Network.
Step 2: Go to ESADE’s Intranet and then the eOffice menu. Click on Impresoras/Printers.
Step 3: Download the drivers required
depending on your operating system. A
zipped file (.zip) will be downloaded. Unzip it
from your computer.
Step 7: Without waiting, click on La impresora
que quiero no está en la lista (The printer that I
want isn’t listed).
Step 4: From your computer's Inicio (Start)
menu, click on Impresoras y faxes (Printers
and Faxes). If you cannot find it, go to Panel
de control (Control Panel)  Impresoras y
faxes (Printers and Faxes).
Step 5: Click on Agregar impresora (Add
Printer).
Step 8: Go to the second option, Seleccionar
una impresora compartida por nombre (Select
a shared printer by name) and type in:
http://printers3/printers/STUDENTS/.printer
Step 12: Once it has been installed, you will
see the name assigned to that printer. Click on
Siguiente (Next) and then, lastly, on Finalizar
(Finish).
The printer is now installed permanently.
Note: If you change your password, you will
have to eliminate this printer from the list and
reconfigure it with the new password.
Step 9: Click on Siguiente (Next) to open a
dialogue box that will ask you to introduce
your ESADE user name and password.
Step 10: After accepting, a new window will
ask you to install the drivers you downloaded
previously. To do this, click on the option
Utilizar disco… (Install from Disc) and then on
Examinar (Browse) to find where you unzipped
the downloaded driver files. Highlight the .inf
file and then click on Abrir (Open) and
Aceptar (Accept).
Step 11: A new screen will open for you to
indicate the printer model. Select Xerox
WorkCentre 5638 PS and then click on Aceptar
(Accept).
