Mass Intentions
“The disciples were filled with joy and the Holy
Spirit.”
ACTS 13:52
Because the disciples heard Our Lord’s call,
they were able to spread the Gospel message
with strength and vitality. We, too, can
experience that same joy if we take time to open
our hearts, listen to God, ask for His direction
and allow the Holy Spirit to guide our lives and our
decisions.
Jubilee of Mercy
Know Mercy — Show Mercy
Smell like sheep. This is what Pope Francis says:
Shepherds should smell like the sheep they shepherd. This
is not a charge just to bishops and priests. It is told to all of
us, too. All of us shepherd in little and big ways: in the
children we bear and raise, in the students we teach, in the
workers we guide, in the customers we serve, in ________.
To smell like sheep we must be unafraid, for we are part of
the one protected flock, we are all in this together (Jew and
Gentile – reread Acts 13:14, 43-52). Sunday makes us one.
Jesus makes us one.
 Make a list: who do I shepherd?
 How can I do this with greater love and care?
Thank you for your generous
support of The Catholic Relief
Services Collection. Through
your generosity, families will be
reunited, valuable life skills will
be taught to those seeking a better life, and many will have
vital humanitarian needs met. To learn how your donations
make a difference and help Jesus in disguise, please visit
www.usccb.org/catholic-relief.

Mowing Help Still Needed
The Grounds Commission still needs help with mowing.
Teams are being formed but we need more people. With
enough volunteers, the teams only have to mow once every
seven weeks. Please consider helping. The parish has the
equipment. Call Lorenzo at 849-1347 or Pat at 882-9428.
SECOND SUNDAY IN APRIL REVENUE

“Los discípulos se llenaron de gozo y del
Espíritu Santo.”
Hechos 13:52
Porque los discípulos oyeron la llamada de
Nuestro Señor, fueron capaces de esparcir
el mensaje del Evangelio con fuerza y
vitalidad. Nosotros también podemos
experimentar la misma alegría si nos
tomamos el tiempo para abrir nuestros
corazones, escuchar a Dios, pedir Su
dirección y permitir que el Espíritu Santo
guie nuestras vidas y nuestras decisiones.

Año Jubileo de Misericordia
Conocer a la Misericordia
Oler como ovejas. Esto es lo que dice
Papa Francisco: Pastores deben oler como
las ovejas que pastorean. Esto no es una
carga sólo para los obispos y sacerdotes.
Se dijo que todos nosotros, también.
Todos nosotros somos “Pastor” en formas
pequeñas y grandes: a los niños, tal vez
ancianos, o enfermos, a estudiantes o
trabajadores, a compañeros de trabajo o
escuela, a clientes que servimos, etc. A
oler como ovejas hay que tener tiempo
junto para comprender a las ovejas- lo
bueno y lo malo. Por Jesus, somos parte
de una rotegida rebaño, estamostodos
juntos en esto ( Judio y Gentil - vuelven a
leer Hechos 13:14, 43-52)
Pregunta a ti mismo:¿A quien sirvo yo
como “pastor” y como puedo hacerlo
mejor?
El camión de San Vicente de Paul
viene para recoger ropa y cosas de
segunda mano donado para la tienda en
Springfield. Lleva tus donaciones a la
iglesia Sagrado Corazón el sábado 30
de abril 1:00-5:30 y el domingo 1 de
mayo, desde las 8:30 am hasta el
mediodía. Si tiene mucho o poco,
siempre puede regalar algo a los
demás!
La semana de la colecta
“Yo les aseguro que, cuando lo
hicieron con el más insignificante de
mis hermanos, conmigo lo hicieron”
(Mt 25:40). Hoy se nos recuerda que
Jesús se identificó con los más pobres
de nuestros hermanos y hermanas. The
Catholic Relief Services Collection
generoso.
