GOSPEL REFLECTION: “Give thanks to the Lord for He
is good, His love is everlasting!” said our Psalmist today. Our God is truly an awesome God for He has given
His Only Begotten Son, Jesus to redeem us from our
sinfulness and condemnation and to give us life, a life
to its fullest. Let us reflect on the importance of Easter. Today, Second Sunday of Easter which is also Divine Mercy Sunday, we give thanks to the Lord for His
ocean of mercy. Easter is a season of joy, hope and
love. And this Easter joy should be celebrated the
whole liturgical year. The Paschal Mysteries, the
Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus, are
celebrated in all the Sundays – Easter Sunday is for the
liturgical year and Sunday is for the week. In the Holy
Mass, the priest sends us forth by saying: “Go in peace,
glorifying the Lord by your life! Alleluia, Alleluia,
Alleluia!”
GRATITUDE!: People who came to the Holy Triduum
Liturgies (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter
Vigil) and the Easter Sunday Celebrations commented
that those liturgical celebrations were soul-lifting
encounters. The liturgical environment, liturgies,
ministers and the active participation helped them
enter into the Paschal Mysteries. This never happened
if not all the smallest contributions of time, talents and
treasures of all of you. From Palm Sunday, Holy
Thursday to Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday, it was
truly an experience and encounter with our Suffering
but Glorious and Risen Lord! Thank You! Thank
You! Thank You!
CONGRATULATIONS: The following neophytes received were baptized, confirmed and received their
First Communion – Cristian Badillo, Gelin Barrios,
Keyli Gonzales, Nick Hood, Damian Llanos, Leonard
Marino and Gabriela Sandoval.
UPDATE: After the busyness of Lent and Holy Week
and Easter Sunday celebrations, our students in the
CCD are now readily preparing themselves for their
First Communion and Confirmation. Let us pray for
them. The Parish Festival 2016 Solicitation Letters are
available for
our generous
sponsors and
benefactors. If you have some sponsor prospects,
please call the Parish Office so that we can either send
the Letter or you can pick it up and send it to them.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is grateful
for all your help. God bless you!
Do you like to sing?
Have you ever thought about singing in the
choir? The Saturday 5:30 pm and Sunday
9:00 am Masses Choir is looking for more

of Columbus serve Coffee and Donuts after
the 7:30 am and 9:00 am Masses at the

nuestro salmista dijo hoy.
glorioso y resucitado! ¡Gracias! ¡Gracias! Gracias!
FELICIDADES: Los neofitos siguientes recibieron
bautismo, confirmacion y primera comunion – Cristian
Badillo, Gelio Barrios, Keyli Gonzales, Nick Hood,
Damian Llanos, Leonard Marino y Gabriela Sandoval.
