“Mensaje Pastoral del Parroco”
“Let us all rejoice in the Lord, as we celebrate
the feast day in honor of all the Saints, at whose festival
the Angels rejoice and praise the Son of God”.
“Alegrémonos en el Señor al celebrar la
solemnidad de Todos los Santos, por la cual se alegran
los ángeles y alaban al Hijo de Dios.” Antífona de Entrada
Mí estimada Sagrada Familia, comenzamos un mes maravilloso lleno de muchas festividades y días preciosos. Este
domingo nos bendecimos al celebrar la Solemnidad de
Todos los Santos. Cada uno de nosotros tenemos nuestros
santos favoritos a los cuales recuremos, les rezamos y
también pedimos su intercesión. Ellos son nuestros amigos en el cielo y también nuestros ejemplos de seguir aquí
en la tierra. De hecho todos somos llamados a ser santos
y todo lo que toma es seguir a Jesús. Agarrémonos Dios
que es nuestra salvación. También el 02 de Noviembre,
celebraremos el día de todas las ánimas. Nuestra misa en
español será a las 7:00pm en la parroquia. Aunque no es
un día de obligación, nosotros celebraremos y recordaremos todos nuestros difuntos – las animas. Como siempre
los recordamos, oramos por ellos, y también celebramos
sus vidas. De hecho durante noviembre, tendremos nuestro “Libro de la Vida” o “Libro de Difuntos” en nuestras
misas para que todos escriban los nombres de los difuntos, familiares, amigos y parientes fallecidos. Todos estamos invitados a orar por nuestros difuntos y los encomendarlos a la misericordia de Dios. Recordemos que somos
una iglesia viviente, peregrina, y triunfante. En la vida y
en la muerte somos del Señor y somos un cuerpo en el
Señor. Todos somos llamados a la conversación y a la
santidad. Pues, ¡animo y adelante! Les deseo una semana
llena de bendiciones. ¡Animo, vamos bien! Gracias por su
apoyo y oraciones. Que el Señor continué bendiciendo la
“Sagrada Familia”, una familia de familias. Que Dios los
bendiga siempre,

My dear Holy Family, we begin a great month full of
many festivities and beautiful days. This Sunday, we are
blessed to celebrate the Feast of All Saints. Each one of us
has our favorites saints to whom we pray to and ask for
their intercession. They are our friends in heaven and our
example to follow on earth. We are all called to be saints
and all it takes is to follow Jesus. On November 02, we
remember All Souls Day. Although it is not a holy day of
obligation, we will celebrate and remember the life of all
the Faithful Departed with our 8:00am English Mass and
7:00pm Spanish Mass. In fact, during November, we will
remember them, pray for them and celebrate their life.
Remember that will have our “Book of Life” or “Book of
Remembrance” available in all our liturgies for you to
write in the names of the faithful departed, our family
members, friends and relatives. Remember that we are all
invited to pray for all the faithful departed and entrust
them to God’s mercy. Above all, let us live our life of
constant conversion and love for holiness. We must remember that we are a living church, a pilgrim church and
a triumphant church. Alive or dead we are the Lord’s and
are one body in the Lord. With all the Saints and all the
Souls let us praise God for a new month. Receive many
blessings in the Lord Jesus,

Preparémonos para la Celebración Guadalupana 2015
El Milagro del Tepeyac y el Proyecto Liberador de Dios
Es necesario preguntarnos si el encuentro entre Nuestra Señora de
Guadalupe y San Diego es para nosotros/as y nuestras comunidades
simplemente una fecha que celebra un milagro en el siglo 16 o sigue
teniendo un mensaje liberador hoy. Este tema nos proporcionara el
espacio para adentrarnos en el proceso teológico que establece
Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe con Juan Diego con el fin de aprender a
imitar su pedagogía en nuestros hogares, comunidades y ministerios.

All Souls Day – Monday, November 2nd
November is Remembrance Month of all the Faithful
Departed. Monday, November 2nd is All Souls Day. It is
not a Holy Day of Obligation, but we will have our regular 8:00am English Mass and a 7:00pm Mass in Spanish.
Please bring photos of your loved ones to remember.
