Monthly Breakfast Today
The breakfast in the hall following the 7:30 and 9:00
a.m. Masses is hosted by the St. Rose Young Ladies
Institute. Proceeds benefit the
charities they support. Come and
enjoy good food and company. The
cost is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for
children.

Fr. Denis’ Irish Night
The Third Annual Gaelic Gala will take place in the
parish hall on March 21st. Gathering at 6:00 p.m.
with a no-host bar featuring Irish Coffee and draft
Guinness. Three-course dinner including wine will be
served at 6:30 p.m. The entertainment includes traditional Irish music, song and dance. Tickets are
$30.00 and seating is limited. To reserve a seat, call
the parish office at 542-6448 beginning March 3rd.
The proceeds from this year’s event will go to the
restoration fund for the stone church.
Noche Irlandés del Padre Denis
El evento anual se llevará a cabo en el salón parroquial el 21 de marzo. La reunión empieza a las
6:00pm con una cantina ofreciendo café irlandés y
cerveza Guinness. Cena de tres platos incluyendo vino, se servirá a las 6:30pm. El entretenimiento incluye música tradicional irlandesa, canto y danza. Los

One Family In Mission:
2015 Diocesan Annual Ministry Appeal
Our parish target is $55,000.00. To date, 58 donors
have pledged/donated $10,765.00. We thank
them. All parish households who have received the
materials for this year’s Appeal are encouraged to
make a pledge regardless of the amount. Help the
parish make its target! All the money raised in excess of our target will be returned to the parish.
Next month we will receive a check for $14,670.00
from last year. Our parish in-pew solicitation is Sunday March 21/22. That weekend will be an opportunity for all who did not receive the materials in the
mail to participate.

Parents Baptismal Preparation Classes
The English class for parents is Wednesday, April 8th,
7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Baptistry. The Spanish class is on
Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Attendance at the class is required before a date
for the baptism is scheduled. Do not bring children
to the class.

Marzo a las 7:00pm en el salón parroqial. Debe asistir
primero a la plática antes de programar la fecha del

The Stones Cry Out
Monday, March 23rd, 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall
In 2009 the Roman Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem,
His Beatitude Michel Sabbah, and several other
Christian leaders wrote the "Kairos Palestine" document aimed at helping fellow Christians in the West
understand the suffering of Christian Palestinians
under occupation since 1967. "The Stones Cry Out"
is a film which addresses this issue in a moving and
powerful way. Everyone is invited to come and listen to the stories of struggle and hope told by survivors of the 1948 war, including the Catholic Patriarch himself. Discussion with refreshments will follow.

Michel Sabbah y varios otros líderes cristianos escribieron el documento "Kairos Palestina" destinado a

desde 1967. "Las piedras claman" es una película que

First Annual Easter Egg Hunt
As part of our St. Rose Youth Ministry program, we
put a strong emphasis on service and social justice.
We are setting aside our own fundraising needs to
benefit people in greater need than our ministry.
On March 28th, St. Rose will host its first Easter Egg
Hunt. There will be ice cream, arts and crafts, a
photo opportunity with the Easter bunny, and of
course the main event: an Easter Egg Hunt. To have
a successful event we are asking parishioners to
donate candy for the Easter eggs. Please bring donations to the parish office. For more information

Como parte de nuestro programa Juvenil de Sta. Rosa
ponemos un fuerte énfasis en el servicio y la justicia
social. Nos estamos dejando de lado que nuestra propia recaudación debe beneficiar a las personas en mayor necesidad de nuestro Ministerio. El 28 de marzo,

Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital needs volunteers.
Their extensive volunteer program serves many different departments. Volunteers provide help to
staff, as well as comfort, to patients and visitors.
