This is a do-it-yourself packet that assists immigrant families who are concerned that a family member may become unexpectedly separated from the home. The completed packet contains the information and the documents families will need should there be an unexpected separation. The packet has instructions which inform the family members on how to use it. The packet is written in Spanish and English. Propósito del paquete/Purpose of the packet El propósito del paquete es aumentar la estabilidad familiar, promover salud mental y dar a las familias inmigrantes un mayor sentido de seguridad en un mundo inseguro. The purpose of the packet is to increase family stability, to promote mental health, and to give the immigrant family an increased sense of security in an uncertain world. The packet can be used in situations such as medical emergencies or other untimely separations within the family. Primero hay que hablar con la familia y decidir sobre los planes. Segundo, hay que completar unos formularios importantes.
