 Henry Houck Happenings! (March/April) Hello and Happy Spring! I wanted to thank all of the families and friends for your help with our “Hoops for Hearts” to benefit the American Heart Association. Together we were able to raise over $3,000 for a great cause. Please review the following information below: a. The weather is unpredictable this time of the year so please make sure your child comes to school ready for any temperature or weather changes. b. Please be respectful of others when you park at school and drop off your child. We do not want to see double parking or anyone parking where they should not. c. Attendance: Notes not turned in to the office within 3 days of the absence may become unlawful absences. I will make any decisions to grant an exception when there are extenuating circumstances. Important dates: Tues. 3/8: No School. Act 80 Day. Wed. 3/9: PFO Meeting in the Art/Music Room. Tues. 3/15: HH Skate Night @ Mt. Gretna. (6:00 – 8:00) Thurs. 3/24: Early Dismissal @ 12:00 PM. Fri. 3/25: No School. Good Friday. Wed. 4/6: Picture Day. & Spelling Bee (5th grade). Tues. 4/12: PFO Meeting. Mon. (4/18) – Fri. (4/24): Book Fair. (Marzo y Abril) Hola y Feliz Primavera: Quería darles las gracias a todas las familias que nos ayudaron a colectar más de $3,000 para la organización “American Heart Association”. Por favor repase la siguiente información: a. El clima durante este tiempo del año es muy difícil para adivinar y le pedimos que se aseguren que su hijo/a venga a la escuela bien abrigado. b. Por favor recuérdese que no se puede estacionar al frente de las líneas amarillas, parar en el medio de la calle o bloqueando otros carros. c. Póliza de asistencia: Necesitamos notas cuando falta un/una estudiante no más tardar 3 días desde la fecha que falten. Los días sin notas no serán días excusados.
