Notes for Absences from School:
Please check that all excuses/doctor’s
notes have:
 Student First Name
 Student Last Name
 Date(s) Student was absent
 Homeroom Teacher’s Name
Please make sure that the
Parents/Legal Guardian is the person
writing and signing the excuse.
Parent Reminders for Classroom Parties:
 When attending class parties. Only
store bought items will be allowed.
 Please make sure to bring your ID card
 If you chose to check out students at
the end of the day, it will count as an
unexcused early release.
 Other family members including other
siblings are not allowed.
 Easter is not one of Lamar’s elected
party days, therefore there will be no
Easter parties.
Making Changes to After School
Transportation?
Please send a written note to your child’s
teacher and encourage your child to give the
note first thing in the morning to his/her
homeroom teacher.
OR …
Call the front office to make transportation
changes. All changes must be made prior to
2:00 p.m. so that we can have enough time to
get the notice to the teacher.

Family Academic Night –Great Success!!
We had a great turn out at our Family Night.
Thank you for attending. Please make sure to
send the blue evaluation form to Ms. Perez at
your earliest convenience. We would like to
thank all our staff and parent volunteers that
helped to get the folders ready. We could not
have done it without you. Please remember to
set a time to do the activities as a family. We
gave out door prizes donated by our Partner in
Education – Community Resources Credit
Union. We have awesome partners!
After School Dismissal Safety:
 If your child walks home please review your
procedures with your child if you are not
able to pick them up or if you are late.
 We encourage you to remind your child to
tell a teacher if she/he is not allowed to walk
home alone before crossing the street.
 Remind students to be aware of their
surroundings and to follow the instructions
given by the crossing guards.
 Cell phone use is not allowed in school
zones.

Notas de ausencias de la escuela:
Por favor asegúrese que cada nota que
mande para justificar la falta tenga:
 Primer nombre del estudiante
 Apellido del estudiante
 Fecha(s) que el estudiante no
asistió a la escuela
 Nombre de la maestra
El padre o el tutor es la persona
indicada para escribir y firmal la nota.
Recordatorios para Padres de las fiestas en
el salón:
• Al asistir a las fiestas de salón. Sólo comida
comprada en la tienda serán permitidas.
• Por favor, asegúrese de traer su tarjeta de
identificación
• Si decide llevarse a su hijo/a después de la
fiesta, se le contara como una excusa temprana
injustificada.
• Otros personas de la familia incluyendo otros
hermanos no podrán asistir a las fiestas.
• Las fiestas de Pascua no es uno de los días de
fiesta electos de Lamar, por lo tanto, no habrá
fiestas de Pascua.
¿Hará cambios a la transportación al
final del día escolar?
Por favor envíe una nota escrita al maestro de su
niño y anime a su niño a que la entregue la nota en
la mañana a su maestro / a de aula.
O otra opción...
Llame a la oficina para hacer cambios en el
transporte. Todos los cambios deben ser
realizados antes de las 2:00 p.m. para que
podamos tener tiempo suficiente para entregar la
notificación a la maestra.

gracias a todo el personal y los padres
voluntarios que ayudaron a preparar las
carpetas que se llevaron a casa. No lo

favor, recuerde que debe establecer un tiempo

Seguridad durante tiempo de Salida:
 Si su hijo/a camina a la casa por
favor repase sus procedimientos con
su hijo/a por si se le hace tarde a
usted.
 Le animamos a que le recuerde a su
hijo/a que le diga un maestro si él /
ella no se le permite caminar solo a la
casa antes de cruzar la calle.
 Anime a su hijo/a de poner atención a
sus alrededores y de seguir las
instrucciones dadas por los guardias
de cruce.
 El uso de celulares es prohibido en
zonas escolares.
