WHY STEWARDSHIP ?
At St. Julie’s our goal is to be a Total
Stewardship Parish—a community of
disciples noticeably committed to
prayer, parish ministry and generous
financial support. We are here to help
you grow in your understanding of
what it means to be a full disciple of
Jesus Christ and to provide
opportunities to put your gifts into
service. We feel confident your
discipleship can grow and thrive at St.
Julie’s.
WHY SHOULD I COMMIT EVERY
YEAR ?
First, it is important to formally
recommit ourselves to the parish,
similar to how spouses celebrate
anniversaries or how we renew our
baptismal vows at Easter time.
Secondly, we need to annually
reevaluate our intentions because a
lot can change in a year. You may have
more free time to devote to
ministries, or you may have received a
raise enabling you to support the
parish more generously.
IN THE PAST, I’VE SIGNED UP FOR
MINISTRIES BUT DIDN’T GET CALLED
OR INVOLVED.
Our parishioners are truly active in all
the ministries we have, and during the
renewal period many people signed
up but somehow may not have been
contacted. We have revised our
process this year with the goal of
contacting those interested to
participate in new ministries within a
month. But keep in mind that if the
Holy Spirit inspired you to sign up, you
may have to match that inspiration
with effort on your part. Contact the
ministry leader and find out how you
can help. Our parish wants your
personal involvement and support.

From the Pastor’s Desk
Dear Friends,
Greetings!
This is a time of great opportunity for our parish as we move beyond
the 40th year. We have so many reasons to be grateful to the Lord for
watching over us and blessing our growth. I am especially thankful to
all of you whose stewardship of time, talent and treasure makes such a
big difference in our parish and beyond. It is a blessing for me to walk
with holy men and women of this parish whose spirituality is lived out
in various commitments as the body of Christ.
Stewardship calls us to be an inclusive community that welcomes all or
‘a family of families’. It also invites us to act as the body of Christ in
various ministries. We are all participants in the ministry of Christ, so
we chose not to be observers.
This report offers a statement of accountability for the good
stewardship you have shown over the past year. We proudly list our
accomplishments, and humbly acknowledge the areas in which we
need to grow. In all, we ask the help of our good and gracious God as
we embrace the challenge of moving forward in faith toward our 50th
year.
May God pour forth His richest blessings upon you and your family and
by His grace, may we all become better stewards of our time, talent
and treasure.

¿POR QUÉ CORRESPONSABILIDAD?
En Sta. Julia nuestro objetivo es ser una
parroquia corresponsable Total — una
comunidad de discípulos comprometidos
perceptiblemente a la oración, Ministerio
parroquial y generoso apoyo financiero.
Estamos aquí para ayudarle a crecer en su
entendimiento de lo que significa ser un
discípulo de Jesucristo completo y
proporcionar oportunidades para poner
tus dones al servicio. Nos sentimos
confiados en su discipulado puede crecer
y prosperar en Sta. Julia.
¿POR QUÉ YO ME COMPROMETO
CADA AÑO?
En primer lugar, es importante
comprometernos formalmente a la
parroquia, similar a cómo los cónyuges
celebran aniversarios o cómo renovamos
nuestros votos bautismales en tiempo de
Pascua. En segundo lugar, necesitamos
reevaluar anualmente nuestras
intenciones porque muchas cosas pueden
cambiar en un año. Que tenga más tiempo
libre para dedicar a los ministerios, o
puede haber recibido un aumento
permitiéndole apoyar la parroquia más
generosamente.
EN EL PASADO, HE FIRMADO PARA
LOS MINISTERIOS PERO NO ME HAN
LLAMADO O IMPLICADO.
Nuestros feligreses son verdaderamente
activos en todos los ministerios que
tenemos y durante el período de
renovación firmaron muchas personas,
pero de alguna manera pueden no haber
sido contactados. Hemos revisado nuestro
proceso este año con el objetivo de
ponernos en contacto con los interesados
a participar en nuevos ministerios dentro
de un mes. Pero tenga en cuenta que si el
Espíritu Santo le inspiró para inscribirse, y
para que coincida con esa inspiración tal
vez requiere un esfuerzo de su parte.

Queridos amigos,
¡ Saludos!
Este es un momento de gran oportunidad para nuestra parroquia
conforme avanzamos más allá de los 40 años. Tenemos muchas razones
para estar agradecidos al Señor quien ha cuidado y bendecido nuestro
crecimiento. Estoy especialmente agradecido a todos ustedes cuya
administración de tiempo, talento y tesoro hacen una gran diferencia en
nuestra parroquia y más allá. Es una bendición para mí caminar junto a
hombres y mujeres de esta parroquia cuya espiritualidad es vivida en
diversos compromisos como el cuerpo de Cristo.
La corresponsabilidad nos llama a ser una comunidad inclusiva que acoge
todos como “una familia de familias". También nos invita a actuar como el
cuerpo de Cristo en varios ministerios. Somos todos los participantes en el
Ministerio de Cristo, así que optamos por no ser observadores.
Este informe ofrece una declaración de responsabilidad para la buena
administración que han mostrado en los últimos años. Estamos orgullosos
de nuestros logros y humildemente reconocemos las áreas en las que
necesitamos crecer. En total, pedimos la ayuda de nuestro Dios bueno y
misericordioso para aceptar el reto de avanzar en la fe hacia el año 50.
