Ceremonies are performed in English and
Spanish. Please call the Parish Office for
requirements and registration.
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
We follow the guidelines of the Archdiocese
of Miami. Please call the Parish Office at
least six months in advance.
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
The necessary requirements to receive a
Letter of Recommendation is to be a
registered and practicing member of our
parish.
CARE OF THE SICK
Please call the Parish Office to request sick
calls for patients at home. St. Patrick Church
has a Chaplain who visits patients at Mt.
Sinai Hospital. If you or someone you know
is hospitalized and would like to be visited
by the Chaplain, please inform the hospital
of your Catholic affiliation.

The second collection this weekend
provides funds to reduce your parish debt. Please
give generously.
Please support our fundraising efforts by
joining us for coffee and donuts served by the
members of our various groups in the Parish hall
after the Masses on Sundays.
The Emmaus Women are inviting everyone
to a Tea with the Blessed Mother in the Parish Hall
from 2pm to 5pm today. Free Event.
The Knights of Columbus will host their
Annual Tootsie Roll fundraiser after all the Masses
today.
Upcoming Baptism Classes: Spanish,
Wednesday, May 7th at 7:30pm in the chapel.
English, Monday, May 12th, at 7pm in the chapel.
Please call the parish office to register, there will be
a $15.00 fee if the baptism is not taking place here.
Experience a Candlelight Evening of
Songs and Prayers in the Spirit of TAIZE
(multilingual) on Friday, May 9th at 7:30pm in the
Church. Come and enter more deeply into the
presence of God through beautiful meditative
singing, Scripture and reflective silence, as we pray
together for peace, healing and reconciliation in our
world.
The Emmaus Women’s Group and our
Women’s Club Group will hold their raffle for the
Mother’s Day Basket next weekend.
Religious Education Calendar:
Congratulations to all our students who received the
Sacrament of Confirmation last week.
Classes will finish for this year on Sunday, May
11th.
Rehearsal for First Holy Communion, Tuesday, May
14th at 7pm in the Church.
Sacrament of First Holy Communion, Sunday, May
18th, during the 10:30am Mass.
Teachers are needed for our Tuesday program,
please call Omar Rodriguez at 786-371-3507.
Our Religious Education office will open for
registrations for the 2014/2015 Sacramental year, on
Friday, August 15th.
Mother’s Day Novena will begin at the
8:30am Mass on Sunday, May 11th, Mother’s Day.
If you would like your Mother remembered in this
Novena please fill out and return the special
envelopes in the Church.
Join the Emmaus Men in their upcoming
retreat in Spanish, May 16th to 18th, for more

Restore the Church, Build the Future:
contribute to the second collection for the Church in
Central and eastern Europe on the weekend of May
17th & 18th.
The Emmaus Women’s Group are hosting
a Bingo in the Parish Hall on Sunday, May 25th
from 2pm to 5pm.
Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th, please
remember with respect and gratitude, all those who
died in their country’s service. There will be NO
5:30pm Mass and the parish office will be closed.
In the Footsteps of St. Paul: A pilgrimage
with St. Joseph’s parishioners and friends from May
20th to June 5th. Istanbul, Athens, the Greek
Islands and Rome. You may want to join Fr. Juan
Sosa in all or part of the Pilgrimage. For more

selection of sunglasses and regular glasses in the

NOTICIAS DE LA PARROQUIA
Como siempre, les recordamos que la
segunda colecta de hoy esta destinada para reducir
la deuda de la parroquia y les pedimos que sean
generosos en esta segunda colecta.
Apoye los esfuerzos de recaudación de
fondos de los diferentes grupos. Únase en las
mañanas del domingo a nosotros para café y
donuts, servido por nuestro grupos parroquiales en
el salón de la Iglesia, después de cada misa.
Las Hermanas de Emaús están invitando a
todos “a compartir a un te con la Virgen Maria” en el
salón parroquial desde las 2 hasta las 5 de la tarde.
Esto es un evento gratuito.
Los Caballeros de Colon tendrán su venta
anual de Golocina (Tootsie Roll) hoy después de las
Misas.
Clases de Bautismo: En español, el
miércoles, 7 de mayo, a las 7:30pm en la capilla y
en Inglés, el lunes, 12 de mayo a las 7:00 pm en la
capilla. Si el bautismo no se celebra en nuestra
parroquia, habrá una cuota de $15.00.
Canto y Oración en la tradición de Taize Viernes, 9 de mayo a las 7:30pm en la iglesia.
Ven, y entra mas en la presencia de Dios, por medio
de cantos, meditación, lectura de la Palabra, y
oración en silencio. Oremos juntos por la paz, la
sanación y la reconciliación en nuestro mundo, en
ingles, español y portugués.
Las damas del retiro de Emaús y el club
de Damas van a rifar una canasta para el día de las
madres que se llevará a cabo en el salón parroquial
del próximo fin de semana.
Noticias de Educación Religiosa: Las
clases de catecismo finalizan en el Domingo, 11 de
Mayo.
Ensayo para el sacramento de la Primera Comunión
será el Martes 14 de Mayo a las 7 de la noche.
El sacramento de la Primera Comunión se celebrará
el 18 de mayo durante la Misa de las 10:30 de la
mañana.
No se olvide, que la novena del
día de las Madres, comenzará el
domingo 11 de mayo en la misa
de las 8:30 de la mañana. Si
quiere recordar a su ser querido
durante esta novena, por favor
de llenar y devolver los sobres
especiales.

Retiro de Emaús para Hombres: Si quieres pasar
por esta experiencia en tu vida y renovar una

Futuro, segunda colecta del fin de semana, 17-18
